    Lisa is an absolute oracle on all things fitness and an all-round incredible human. She focuses on helping you feel strong and healthy which has such a positive effect on all other parts of life. I have trained with Lisa for about 6 months now and it has been the best thing that I’ve done for myself and the most consistent I have been with fitness in my whole life! I was so intimidated by working out, but I have learned so much and feel so much more confident in the gym. The community is beautiful and classes are always challenging, fun and fly by so quickly - genuinely they are my favourite part of the week now! The yoga and big bang sessions with Jo and Lulu are also fantastic. I have a hard time explaining to people how much I enjoy this gym because it really is so perfect!

    From the get-go, Lisa is warm, empathetic and wants to ensure you are comfortable and your technique is safe. Lisa goes to great effort to understand your concerns and areas for development and ensures you practice with safety and correct technique always. The programs are structured and work really well. If you are consistent, you will start to see improvements within a few weeks. The class sizes are also small which ensures you get the attention you need and that you are doing the exercises correctly. Lisa is engaging and genuinely cares about her training groups.

    Simply put, Lisa has changed my life. I joined Coogee Gym through a friend’s recommendation and it’s one of the best decisions I made. I have a lifelong medical condition that affects my left leg and back, and also have a severe limp. Because of Lisa’s knowledge, passion for helping people and her careful guidance in every session, she’s given me hope and confidence that I never thought was possible. I’m the most strong and stable (when walking) I have ever been in my life. Lisa’s gym is my new happy place and the community she has built is supportive, kind and full of amazing people from all different walks of life. I’ll never be able to thank you enough, Lisa!

    I have started at Lisa’s gym about 3 months. I had never done strength training before. The start was challenging as my body was not used to that intensity, and Lisa really took the time to teach me how to pace myself so I get the maximum benefit without going overboard. She has been very attentive in making sure I learn the right techniques for specific exercises such as deadlift, squat, etc so I felt very safe in her hands. She also gave me homework for my specific issue (tight shoulders). My group is super friendly and welcoming and we encourage each other a lot. Lisa is such a powerhouse of contagious enthusiasm that pushes you to give your best every time. It can feel challenging to go to the gym after a tough day at work but I never regretted it once. It is a wonderful stress reliever that washes out the frustrations of the day. My chronic neck pains are gone and my back feels much stronger. My arm muscles are more toned. And it’s just the beginning!!!

    I am so glad I have found Lisa at Coogee Gym Innervate. I explained to Lisa that I have a lifetime condition that impacts my strength and movement, Lisa took the time to understand my specific needs and requirements before starting a tailor made exercise regime. Thanks to Lisa’s ongoing management of my training and making adjustments I have become significantly stronger and more active. I am so incredibly thankful to Lisa for her dedication to my fitness journey and look forward to future fitness gains!

    I felt compelled to write this review as Lisa’s program has had such a positive impact on my strength, endurance and mobility. I love this gym as Lisa takes the time each class to review my technique ensuring I’m maximising every workout & I don’t get injured. Lisa’s enthusiasm for life is contagious and this is evident in the program she has designed - her workouts are thoughtful and challenging but they are also welcoming and fun (even the hill sprints!). Lisa has created a fantastic fitness community & I couldn’t recommend Innervate more highly.

    Lisa's extensive experience and consideration to strength development and injury prevention combined with her authentic positive attitude to fitness in her motivational training has changed my life, I am stronger and fitter, my posture has improved as a result of Lisa's expertise and I really enjoy training with the people she attracts to her class. It's a pleasure to be part of such a wonderful community.

    Lisa is a fantastic and passionate trainer who has created a very streamlined fitness program to help people at various ages and stages of their training lives achieve their goals. The amazing bit is how she is able to pay personal attention to each person in our little community while running a very fast paced and intense session. She is very knowledgeable about musculoskeletal physiology and biomechanics, and is passionate about helping people overcome injuries and obstacles in their fitness journeys.

    I regularly walked past Innervate Gym at Coogee and thought, this gym ticks all my boxes - strength, intervals and yoga - I must join. Finally instead of walking past I walked in and it was one of the best decisions I have made. Lisa really knows her stuff, and even though I have multiple previous injuries / limitations, Lisa just takes this in her stride and modifies the exercises to meet me and my body - it is not a one size fits all approach, it is a what works for you and your body. A great, friendly gym with personalised service. I cannot recommend this gym highly enough. Don't be like me and walk past, walk in - you won't regret it.

    Lisa is an incredible trainer and it is clear she brings a wealth of knowledge and years of expertise to every single session. From day one she figured out where my body needed particular attention (for me, my lower back) and she is fastidious about ensuring everyone trains safely. I only joined in January but I already feel stronger, more confident and have a renewed focus on where I went to go with my training. Life changing!!

    Lisa is a very knowledgeable trainer, super enthusiastic and committed to teach us to use the correct techniques and improve our physical capacity. I had big problems with my knee when I joined and she helped me to fix that, get stronger and really start enjoying weight training. Highly recommended!

    Lisa is a really great trainer, and has the knowledge to understand and adjust to any injuries you carry, the experience to tell you when your technique is incorrect and she has the banter/personality to push you through those early morning sessions. I’ve only been training with the 7am crew for a couple of Months but really enjoying the training blocks and trusting the process put in place. Put in the work in the group training and take time to focus on the bonus training content offered by Lisa and you’l be smashing your goals in no time!!

    I have never really enjoyed working out and have always found myself flitting between different classes and different gyms lacking motivation not finding the right thing for me but I have found it with Lisa and Coogee Gym Innervate! Lisa is brilliant and she really knows her stuff. She really cares about all her clients and gets to know each of our individual needs and goals. The group classes are fun but focused. I feel more confident and stronger about my fitness and it’s all down to Lisa's expertise and guidance. Highly recommend!

    I have worked with many personal trainers over the years and no-one even comes close to Lisa. The individual attention received in her classes together with her experience has always exceeded my expectations. Most importantly the results speak for themselves. I have bad posture and Lisa has been working with me to correct this as well as making me stronger and motivating me to achieve. I highly recommend Lisa and Coogee Gym Innervate to anyone who wants to enjoy their exercising whilst reaching their goals.

    I have been training with Lisa for the past few months. after a long history of lower and upper back injuries, and a long break with no exercise at all. Not only Lisa caters for everyone needs within the training group, but her knowledge and expertise in the human body allows her to guide you gradually in order to regain confidence and strength. Lisa is energetic and deeply cares, she knows when to push and when to pull back, and always bring a great and positive energy. I trust her completely to help me and others progress at the right pace and safely and I am so very grateful to have joined the Coogee Gym, i havent felt this healthy and strong in years!

    Lisa has created such a welcoming, fun and inclusive environment in her gym. I was completely new to this type of training, but within weeks I was feeling confident and stronger - all down to Lisa's expertise and guidance. Love the diversity of training on offer, would highly recommend!

    I joined Coogee Gym over 4 months ago and honestly have not looked back. I was someone who never thought I would like or benefit from strength training but very quickly felt confident I had made the right choice. Lisa is just a natural teacher, so so knowledgeable and passionate about what she does, its infectious. I love attending this gym, I feel supported, included and come away feeling stronger and better each time. I could not recommend this place highly enough. Such a lovely community.

    I wanted to find a friendly, unpretentious community orientated gym and Coogee Gym has 100% nailed that brief. I’m delighted I found it. Lisa really knows her stuff and is passionate in everything she does. She motivates and encourages and always has her eye on the ball. When I first joined I wasn’t sure this type of fitness was for me, I said I’d give it three months but that was over six months ago! It’s become such an important part of my health and wellness and I’m loving it. Keep doing what you do Lisa (and keep playing the banging tunes!).

    Lisa is an extremely knowledgeable, passionate, energetic and compassionate trainer who has built a wonderful community that feels like home away from home. I have been training with injury and have made more progress than I could have hoped through working with Lisa and her in-depth knowledge of the body and movement. I'd highly recommend working with Lisa to anyone who wants to build strength and work towards a life without injury and pain.

    After moving to hybrid working - part from home and part from the office - I was looking for a gym and personal trainer closer to home. I am so lucky to have found Lisa and her gym! Her small group classes feel like personal training. She always has an eye out for me, pushing me where I can excel and also making sure I don’t injure myself. It doesn’t matter that everyone in the class is at a different training age and has different injuries or strengths; she is on top of it and caters to challenge everyone. Even though I’m quite shy, the community at the gym is fabulous and Lisa cultivates a no d***heads atmosphere where I’ve felt safe and welcome, and get to have a good laugh making new friends. Best of all - the training is amazing. Every week I get stronger and feel fitter. Her programs are well thought out and get results. Lisa, I can’t thank you enough for helping me make fitness a regular part of my life again!

    I have been training with Lisa for four months and I am amazed by the results already. I feel much stronger and I have a better posture. I used to do regular classes in a gym for years and I found out that all theses years I didn’t have to right technique. With Lisa I know that I am in good hands. She always has an eye on each one of us even if we are in small group setting. Lisa is a highly skilled personal trainer and she also have a lot of energy and a beautiful heart. I thoroughly recommend her services.

    Lisa is absolutely fabulous! Her expertise and enthusiasm shines in every session. I am seeing strength progress much more quickly with her programming than I have at other gyms. She has created a beautiful, supportive community that is diverse and welcoming. Coogee Gym is like none other I’ve experienced. Lisa is able to adjust the program to all fitness levels and challenge in a supportive way. Thanks for an awesome workout every time Lisa!

    Having played rugby for years, had multiple surgeries, and having a number of health issues I needed a trainer who was sensible, experienced and knowledgeable. Luckily for me I found that in Lisa at Coogee Innervate. She challenges me and pushes me out of my comfort zone, but always in a way that is safe and puts my needs first, not her ego. Lisa has the capability and competence to modify, adjust or completely change each session based on the needs of my body on that particular day. I cannot thank her enough for helping me to be able to function and move as the best possible me. In case you haven't worked it out yet, she is good.

    I have known Lisa for over ten years. She has trained myself and my wife. She is knowledgeable, approachable, caring and a brilliant trainer. I have personally seen amazing results.     Joining Innervate is one of the best decisions I have made in recent times. Lisa and the team are so caring and motivating, and the community is full of real people working towards their own goals at their own pace. Lisa is very supportive and so knowledgeable, and perhaps most importantly, makes me laugh every session! I'm so excited to continue my journey with her.     I cannot thank Lisa enough for her training and guidance for the past 3 months. I feel the strongest and most agile I have ever been. Coming from a fitness background, I appreciate the care, expertise and effort put into every training programme Lisa develops, as well as her emphasis on technique and her prompts during session. Each program is uniquely designed, challenging, fun and has delivered excellent results for my body composition and overall strength. I don’t get back pain anymore, my posture has improved and I feel confident when travelling and adventuring outdoors. Her encouragement, motivation and immense knowledge in the field of health and wellness has brought together a beautiful community in Coogee. Being apart of this community is the absolute highlight of my week! Couldn’t recommend highly enough for those wanting to improve their life for the better!
