Other places had the same price only for a three hour rental. They outfitted us with helmets, bikes, storage bags on the bikes, a flat kit - even have us tips on where to go when we didn’t pay for the tour. 10/10 recommend. The only problem was the drop off. No one is there 24/7 so it’s best to let them know and schedule what time you want to drop the bikes off so you can make sure someone is there.

Located just above the main road in the Old Port harbour, I was quite wary at what I should expect (a 68 year old who hasn't cycled for years and it was my daughter who had booked it too). If you found it difficult cycling uphill, you merely turned the electric part on and foot power was more than matched by the bike's electric part pushing you along with ease. I have just come back from a month of travels in the south of France and Italy. This was my first ever visit to Marseille and I fell in love with the place immediately. It's a fantastic city. As a bike tour and rental business owner, I always try to take a bike tour everywhere I go. And here in Marseille I did TWO bike tours with Fada Bike and I have to say they are both up there at the top of my BEST BIKE TOURS EVER list!! The first day I did the city tour with Stephane. Super nice guide, very patient, obviously loves his city and his work. As with all city bike tours, it is the perfect way to get orientated to the city and to cover far more ground than you could on foot. There are quite a few hills but with the comfy electric bikes, they are not a problem for anyone. The next day I did the ebike tour to the Calanque. A-MAZ´-ING! It is pretty much a full-day tour. I used an electric mountain bike on this tour, which was great. Emmanuel was our guide and he was fantastic- very entertaining. He obviously loves what he is doing too and was in no hurry to end the day. We stopped off at a local restaurant near the Calanques and had a smaller, cheaper version of the famous Boillabaise dish, which was absolutely delicious. Thank you Fada Bike for making my Marseille visit so special!

What a great way to see marseille. First time riding an e bike and it was super fun and easy to use, the electric assistance made it very easy to get you up the steep roads. Unfortunately we were not at all happy with the tour we did today ("Marseille-Calanques"). The guide made us disrespect basic traffic rules, thus putting us in danger. The guide was racing (!) the whole time, hardly looking back at the group which resulted in people staying far behind several times. (We had asked her to slow down.) She made us take a 1.5 hour (!) lunch break at an overpriced restaurant with poor service. There were too many smoking breaks, the guide being the only smoker. If you are interested in discovering the unique fjords of Calanques National Park (as the name of the tour suggests), this is not the right tour for you since we were only shown one small fjord at the very end of the tour. We were disappointed.

They picked us up effortlessly from our cruise ship terminal and took us to the location where the bikes were.
