Between flea market, cabinet of curiosities and Ali Baba's cave, don't hesitate to come and take a look at Plato's tavern! Unusual and varied objects, you have to spend time there to see everything, there are objects from floor to ceiling! A unique place run by a passionate person.

This morning stroll through the old streets of Aix en Provence. By chance during this wandering I found this shop, this cabinet of curiosities. A magical place where ancient objects rub shoulders with those of today. I had a good time in this place. I didn't buy anything today but I will come back. ... The welcome is pleasant, including for those who just look, as was my case today. These places are too rare.

What a marvel, this shop! Hundreds of heterogeneous objects skillfully arranged, from the overflowing imagination of the owner of the place. An address to browse carefully to discover a multitude of accessories, trinkets and other unusual paintings! Something to enhance an interior or even a look… Don’t hesitate to come in… The welcome is very friendly! Awesome!!!

This quirky shop is absolutely worth a visit! You essentially enter another world and find it difficult to tear yourself away again. So many bells and whistles, curiosities... not only steampunk fans will enjoy it. So: don't miss it!

A strange place in the heart of Aix en Provence, a stone's throw from the Rotonde. A lover of curious pieces, I stopped by this store to complete my collection. Well, I might as well say it straight away: I didn't buy anything during my last visit. That said, I was charmed by the strangeness of the place, the "crazy" side of the shop in which the banal (skull rings) and the original (an absinthe spoon or a magnificent shell) rub shoulders. , it has a little “flea market” feel that is missing in our region. The welcome is friendly and the stock is renewed regularly (depending on the owner). No doubt that the summer period - therefore touristy - is beneficial for the turnover but it is certainly not for a more "serious" amateur. Whatever the case, I recommend not to hesitate to enter, at the very least, you will find original gifts to give to your loved ones! For my part, I will return regularly in the hope that I will find interesting pieces from time to time. Good visit!

Discovered during a stroll in Aix, we were immediately drawn into this universe where time is suspended. We could have stayed for hours discovering the thousand and one curiosities of the store. Thank you for offering this trip to your “tavern” of wonders.

Stroll around Aix and a discovery as atypical as it is extraordinary. I fell in love with this place! I would have happily stayed there for hours. Only one regret, however: having resisted this pretty stone and bone box that I did not find on the site.
