Decent seafood dining place named after US President Obama. Don't get tricked into paying higher Euro (€) prices by the pound / ounces at this obvious tourist trap, which the waitstaff and menu won't let you know, especially for whole lobster, which they will try to have you chose the biggest specimens. Also, since this is an open air restaurant the constant flies and nags surrounding your meal are beyond annoying. No, the place is not dirty but being in the warm tropical weather bring such scenario. Our meal was fine after watching our limits and we do recommend visiting at least once around lunchtime since dinner time gets really busy. Menus are both in French and English.

Staff were extremely helpful for us English speakers. Service was great, and so was the food. Mojitos are strong. Seating right on the beach. Highly recommend.

This restaurant deserves 5 stars. The other reviewers have their expectations set all wrong; this isn’t a gastronomic or fancy restaurant. This is a beach restaurant with a focus on quality; fresh (not frozen) lobster, local produce (except beef) and they do their best efforts to cook these properly on a coal barbecue (not electric, not gas). The service is fantastic because it is fast, the waitresses are very friendly. I tried a Mojito and it was better than places in London or Paris that charge EUR 20 (here it was c. EUR 7). Did I mention you dine on the beach? As in feet in sand, gentle waves breaking 5 feet away? I am native from Martinique and this is the real deal; true local food, great prices, great service, great quality. This isn’t a tourist trap; half the customers are local.

Nice location and friendly staff. The menu with half a lobster (good dish), 4 accras and a very tiny flan was 45 euros, which is quite expensive given how basic the place is but it seems to be the price in the area. Vivaneau fish was very nice but the Marlin and the beef steak were both quite hard to chew.

Nice location, close to the beach. However service takes very long time for us, we waited for one hour, when another customers arrived after us already got their dishes already. I order écravisse, it was soso but my husband order fish vivaneau and it was very nice.

I read a number of reviews before going here, and we were hesitant as some of the complaints had a thread of poor service. Well, our experience was much more than expected! First, the waitress tried very hard to understand our poor French. She called over another server and he struggled with English. BUT, with humble humor, Google Translate, and a lot of pointing, we got our order made quickly! Food came out quickly, was tasty, and we thought a good value. The locale is superb, the sand in our toes, and we were very happy. I highly recommend... And Americans, don't arrive with an attitude of expectations that they should speak English. Have fun, be humble, and you will be rewarded.

We went to this restaurant because it was suggested from a few local friends, and our aim was mainly one: eating the "langouste". in our hometown langouste is a plate which is commonly served and usually taste very very good, however many people told us how good are langoustes in Martinique so we said "let's give it a try". Weather was good and we had a big smile on our face because of the great food we ate in the previous days and the great time spent on this wonderful island! Langouste, here we come!! As soon as we sat down we immediately realized something wasn't right. The waitress was so focused on persuading the passers-by to come to the restaurant, that didnt put an attention on us. It was still ok, we ordered one entire langouste and one plate of 1/2 langouste and 1/2 Lambis. at first, we got served wrong food from the menu, then they finally got it right.. the excitement was really high until when... we figured out the lambys was cold and that 45eur langouste was chewy and dry as hell. we tried our best to convince ourselves that thats the way they cook it in Martinique but that's not the case, especially because a few days after we had the chance to taste a really good one elsewhere. Sainte-luce is a nice little town and there you will find better spots to eat langouste..

Nice and fair price. It was a very busy day, but staff was still very attentive. We had a nice time there with all the family, as they usually understood it will be a bit long to serve the whole table (we were 8), they brought the children's plates first which was very appreciated :)

We had the grilled lobster and shrimp. It's a very fresh and local experience that is well worth the trip. If you are out on a cruise ship excursion touching the island, you should ask if this is working a reasonable distance to visit. Any place that is completely full of locals eating lunch is for me. Our tour guide lives right in this town and showed us around.

Disgusting!the creole octopus was probably cooked in salty sea water in a horrific sauce that nobody should ever eat! Chicken curry(creole😅) was made with dirt. We couldn’t eat anything! Terrible creole cuisine. We thought that someone was pulling a prank to us! Stay away and better eat at any of the other restaurants or even better on a street food place. I don’t even know how people are actually rating this restaurant with 4 or 5 stars. The stuff was polite though.
