Good place to have a meal with your family in Badulla. Reasonable price

This place established in memory of the victims of tsunami disaster 2004. Few meters beyond this place you can enter the beach and see the point where nilwala river mergers with the sea. Also you can see many fishery boats entering through this narrow gate very closely. Matara town,pigon island and dondra light house also clearly visible at this point.

A special atmosphere at the river delta where salty and sweet water are coming together. Remembering the many people that died in the tsunami puts you in a pondering mood.

Its hard to forget the loved ones, please light a lamp here on 26th of december every year 😢
