Do you believe this is a mix rice cost 680/= , on top of packing few sea food parts then there was nothing inside, i buying chicken rice near by shop in weligama just cost 450/= they do more than this. I visited because where was a group in Facebook, they ( group members) react like best shop ever. But what is this ? I don't even like to pay half of amount for this. Extremely disappointed, not only me, even my family members yelling at me what the heck was this. I am not recommending this shop to any one.

I went there on a saturday evening. They told that the order will be ready from 40 minutes time. But we had to stay 1 and half hours to get my order done. Seems like they dont have enough cooks for the orders they are getting. Too much time wasting and the place is not upto that standard. But food was tasty and the portion was fine.

Too spicy foods. No taste at all. And also they didn’t accept order through call and you have to go there and pay for make an order. After all they issue delivery orders before our orders. They marking on their book and prioritise delivery orders. I stayed there around one and half hour without houseful. And food are not tasty. Because their spiciness is too much. And prices are also high when it compare with their output.

I came to Hela Rawla Store around 07.15 PM on Sunday 30th July 2023. Ordered below 1. Mix Rice Full (Basmathi) 2. Rawla Special (Basmathi) Total cost was around Rs 3450 Have to say that food was not that special as everyone said it was. It was OK for a Mix Rice and a Special Rice. But there no WooW factor or any special characteristics. I

Worst place, not recommending this place at all. The hype, the setup, the restaurant atmosphere, the impression was not worth when compared to foods. No quality at all. I ordered the chicken fride rice and it is 950/=. Even petti kada also offers more chicken than this place. Not tasty.

Poor customer service. After eating one of the two dishes I had ordered, I realized it was extremely spicy. So I asked a staff member to make my other meal less spicy. He just said that you could either receive the meal without any spices or with spices like the other meal.

You can get very delicious kothtu and rice varieties. There seems to be a little space inside. That's fine though. The price is also reasonable. They say they don't add MSG to food. After eating, there was a lot of water. However, I can recommend it. They provide free food to pregnant mothers. It is very much appreciated. As far as I know, it is the only restaurant in Sri Lanka that does this.

If you want to try spicy food hela rawla is the best place. Specialy creamy ramen and nasi rice became my favorite dishes. Highly recommend 😋😋💪❤

Went to this restaurant after seeing really good feedbacks from customers in social media. Tried remix kottu as people are saying it is the best kottu ever. But it was not upto my expectations. Potion size is really good and there were a lot of chicken pieces. Spicy level was high, it has a nice kick to it with ‘nai miris’. Other than that, it is a regular kottu. As you can see in the picture, chicken pieces were white in colour that has no flavour in it. It will be really tasty if they have added roasted chicken. Finally I would like to say that social media reviews are overrated and I have experienced much better kottu before. Hope they move to a better location and improve thei food as well.

We visit yesterday. Its really testy fried rice. Very hot and very spicy.. we are also spicy lovers. Really like this restaurant. They said they do not use MSG. They use nay miris. We are really like to nay miris. Its going another tast. This is first time eat like this fried rice. If you get spicy fried rice you should buy cool water bottle 😂😂😂 Highly recommended this place ❤️

worse place... No respect for the customer they do think this is the only place that can eat in the world. Poor way to speck customer. They may be thinking that people eat for free not paying any money so they can blame everyone... Such a shame compare to past 🤨

Cheese koththu was amazing. But there was a koththu named "Naasi koththu" which was not good in taste. And the place is not air-conditioned. Full portion is more than enough for two people. Overall experience is good.

I visited for once to try a koththu for lunch. There was parking available. So I had to park by the road with less space to park also. The staff sounded a little unfriendly. The ambiance was not so nice and it was hot / warm inside. The food tasted okay. It was not exceptional but. Okay. The portion size was big enough for me.

If you want to enjoy spicy foods in down south, this is the best place. Many food options are available. Well behaved and friendly staff. Clean and healthy place. MSG is not added to food items, so you will not be so much thirsty after eating. You can customize the spicyness as you wish. Food prices are little bit higher but quality is also higher than most of other restaurants.

This place is getting better with time. The food, and service is getting there. They are improving in each corner. I had spicy kottu and fried rice on my recent visit and it was astonishing. Superb taste and so different varieties to select. Great place if you are searching for a new experience in foods. Good luck!

Aa we heard 🐙 octopus rice is the best here. But it was not available at the time we were visited there.

One of the best kottus ever tasted and truly believe other food will be the same. Firstly i paid the bill after that they understood my wife is pregnant, hence they offer the food free of charge gave back money which they taken. They not only doing business but also harvest the humanity. Respect and congratulate them bottom of the heart for their advancement🙏

Tasty food..Price is somewhat higher. However the best food I ate in Matara.

Foods taste are not bad but too spicy. It's good for spicy lovers. I am not satisfied with their shop space and table size, so it is difficult to eat there. I do not recommend this hotel for big family (over 5 person) dining.

At the beginning they maintained great quality over price. Recently it seems the quality of the food is dropped while prices are gone outrageous. So dissapointed with even thier signature items which so called extra/double spicey option.

We got cheese kottu and sea food rice. It's worthy to the cost. Sea food rice is ok , but i love the cheese kottu more. It's delicious 😋

I have tried a හෙල රැව්ලා spacial. 1200lkr( 05/2022). Enough for two. Food is good but it was too spicy. Place is clean. But in busy hours you will have to wait for around 30min till they prepare the order. Both Dining-in and take-away available.

Not a fancy place, but food was quite good and super spicy. Menu items had very strange names that can’t remember. The rice we ordered had coconut pieces and snake pepper in it. It was a whole new experience. This place is vibrant with colors and had a rawula style cute wall art design.

Excelente service and best restaurant in matara

I do not recommend this place for anyone who is looking for good food. The restaurant was not spacious and the food was in a really bad condition. They took a long time to give food and bearly included seafood and other required ingredients. Food was too spicy and cannot be recommended for kids. Had the worst food experience there.

You can get tasty and spicy foods on this place. One of the beat place to get tasty foods on Matara. They have Dine in/ Take out and Delivery service.

Only chilly nothing any taste. Only snake chilly (නයි මිරිස්) . ,if you buy any rice from any place and add one snakechilly you can get this taste. Any cheff can cook like this and no any customer service from here . Please visit Ambasewane Indian spice you can get real taste

Too much chillies, foods were a torture rather than an experience. Expensive too. Staff were like we eat for free. No smile, just grumpy faces.

Fabulous foods for a good price. Lots of dishes to choose from. Well behaved staff. Tables are nicely cleaned & customers are warmly welcomed. Visited few times in some rush hours. Sometimes customer would've to wait few minutes to place order, but nothing to complain, camparing the rivalries in the area. Budget packs were also available for students.
