Cakes are expensive but top quality...

One of the best cake shops in Sri Lanka,for a fair amount of price there are lot of delicious cakes available here.if you are around from Matara area it's must to try this place.all other pastry items are at good quality too.

They have a range of short eats, cake items & main meals such as Rice but with limited options. You could dine in or take away the order. The rice portion that we ordered was adequate for 2 people but it could be different for others so would suggest to order 1 portion first to determine whether its enough or not. There isn't any dedicated parking slots but it's shared with other shops. You could order ahead to cut the leadtime if you're ordering for take away

Walgama Bake House is a place where the food is of good quality. But the price is a bit high. I like it because they serve good quality food.

Fast food - better and cheaper than Perera and sons next door. If a bit lacking in variety. The cakes are especially good. I'd recommend you try the banana cake. Food - mainly kottu and fried rice. I'd recommend the egg kottu btw. They aren't holding back on the ingradients and the price is reasonable given current economy. My inly complaint is how plain the options are. Don't get me wrong, you get more than what you pay for, but i won't come here every day. Soup - eh... pass. Garlic bread is a nice touch tho. Other - ask them to thrn the ac temperature up. 16 c is way too cold when dining in. Overall, the best option in around an 500 m radius from what I know. Much better than anything found in beach road anyway.

A well established pastry shop in the town area. The main branch is located at Pamburana. You can order pastries and cakes for parties from this place. Lunch is also provided. All food items are tasty. The branch at town is always crowded. It I see very difficult to find a seat to enjoy the snacks. I do not forget to visit the place whenever I go to the town.

Available various bakery items in high quality for very reasonable price. Also have dine in facility as well as take away. I would rate 4/5 because they do not have parking facility. Otherwise they offer excellent service. Well maintaining hygiene. They have several branches in matara town.
