Shree Bhuteshwar Mahadev Temple is a well known temple of Mathura. Devotees come here to visit Mahadev, perform Jalabhishek. It is a very beautiful temple. There are many more Shivlings in this temple complex. Uma Katyani Shaktipeeth, one of the 51 Shaktipeeths, is also there in this temple premises.

Holy place. But not maintained properly. Flower venders are rude. The good thing is you can do Abhishek by yourself. You can see kathyayini Shakthi peeth here, other than one at vrindavan.

Among 12 jyotirlingas, Somnath comes first. This place is very unique as its on shore of Arabian sea. The sea is very attractive. The wind gives you refreshing also put you on spiritual mode. The combination of Shiva and sea is very much exhilarating. This experience can not be elaborated in words. Rameshwaram is also at Sea but you can not see sea fro temple, but at Somnath, first you see Sea and then Shivalinga. Sea gazing , wind touches you and then you meet lord shiva makes whole experience unique. If you wish you can mediate here, Chanting Namah shivay as much as you wanted.. Any religion you belong this place makes you diff.... must visit...

One of the best places to visit if you are a Mahadev bhakt just like me. In the same premise is Maa Katyayani Shaktipith as well. Flower stalls are right outside the temple so no worries if you forget to get any, but yeh for abhishek you have to get your own water(jal). Recently 5-6 months back Khatu Shyam temple has also been inaugurated just opposite Bhuteshwar temple, so don't forget to visit there as well. Om Namah Shivay 🙏

It is the most ancient temple of Braj region. It is near Mathura Bhuteshwar Railway Station. You can take darshan of Mahadev and also enjoy evening aarti which is really very awesome!! You can also take diyas, flowers and other offerings available outside temple.

Awesome experience, Har har Mahadev. Out of 4 gatekeepers of Vrindavan dham, Bhuteswar Mahadev is gatekeeper of Mathura, one must visit Bhuteswar and beg for blessing before entering Vrindavan dham. The temple keeps open all day.
