It was disappointing to me this ryokan's dinner. I was really expecting the meal But Food wasn't warm. Looks pretty but is not special. And also restaurants atmosphere was really bad. So noisy, no private(I mean too close to other customers), I couldn't relax when I had dinner. However breakfast was good. I had buffet. There was handmade onigiri, omret with orange...we enjoyed. I suggest don't have dinner only breakfast is better.

It was a luxury hotel with reasonable price. Room: I had a tatami (Japanese style) room, and it seemed very pretty. The atmosphere was very chill, I spent a relaxing time in the room. Food: I had a course dinner at the hotel, and the food itself was quite good. I wouldn’t say it was as good as some french restaurant, but I enjoyed it pretty much. For the breakfast, you’ll have two choices from Japanese style and Western style. I recommend to choose western style as their curry was amazing 🍛 Onsen: It’s on the roof of the hotel, so you can enjoy beautiful view of Matsuyama city with bathing in a onsen. The facility was clean and they prepared different sorts of amenities.

The room was bright and nice. Futon is good thickness to be comfortable, and the roof top onsen was perfect after the cycling trip. Dinner was a bit under expectation. But... The beer was highly recommended

The service was impeccable. When we arrived by a Taxi, the staffer helped us to get our luggages out. We were a little early, so we took a stroll at the nearby community hot spring bath. When we came back, our luggages are already inside of our room. The dinner was a memorable multi-course meal. The complementary breakfast offer so many choices, western style, Japanese style, I couldn't sample them all. The drawback is that our room is pretty small, especially the bathroom. The expectation might be that most guests will use the rooftop hot spring bath, but giving bathroom a little more space would be greatly appreciated.

Very friendly staff and very clean room. We booked tatami style room and they help us setup the bed while we had our dinner at the restaurant. Kaiseki dinner was above average but the service was excellent. Breakfast was nice with plenty of Japanese selection. The French toast was very yum. Best thing was the location, which was just next to the Dogo onsen. Rooms were clean and big.

This is a traditional Japanese hotel, but the facilities are modern. you can try nice Japanese foods by dinner. These are made with authentic cooking. There is a traditional hot spring next bulding. You can get a discount ticket at the hotel.
