This place is horrible . Both customers and employees are extremely rude .They don’t believe in standing in line as everyone will elbow you to make their way up ,to be served first . A cultural thing . If I had the option to rate them with a negative star I would have done so .

Good grocery store without being opulent. Definitely in the "nice" category for Nouakchott, but less expensive and more tightly packed than your average expat grocery. Items for sale tell me the locals on the average-to-wealthier side shop there as opposed to westerners. Nice selection stuff. I managed to find nearly everything I needed to make American-style pancakes, which to me says it's well stocked. Due to the broader market it serves, the perishable stuff seemed a bit fresher (due to higher turnover?) but that may be a halo effect gievn I've only visited once.

A lot of items. For Sure, you will find what you need if it's not alcohol. 😄😄

Unprofessional! The cashier get very aggressive me when I realized the price he was changing me for some juices was the double of what they have posted on the refrigerators. I asked to speak to the supervisor and he said he was the boss there. The reputation of Big Market is getting worse because of its unprofessional staff, today it is considered a ghetto store, with no air conditioned, rough staff and spoiled products.
