I have been to this restaurant a few times before and dim sum used to be superb and service was nice too. But it dissapointed me when they served me shan noodle. They said it's Chinese style shan noodle. Funniest shan noodle I have ever tried in my life. 😂 The taste was okay but there's no way it's Shan noodle. Sesame balls order took forever and it was sour that I couldn't even eat. Dim sum included in set menu were super tiny.

With any restaurant, there is no point in having great food, a good menu or a nice interior decoration or ambience unless you have the courtesy and quality of staff to go with it. This was my experience here in Imperial Garden which is located on the 3rd floor of Myanmar Plaza. After much waving we eventually attracted the attention of a waiter. Despite being seated in plain sight and the amount of staff there in an otherwise quiet restaurant leads me to suspect that we were purposely ignored. When I made this known to the supervisor the attentiveness (of him only) improved. However, this type of damage control service is useless, staff should be polite, courteous and attentive as a matter of practice. Also, I could see certain staff members glancing, pointing and laughing, from a distance, at our table. This made the dining experience very very uncomfortable. Wifi is available for customers but the quality of it is sub-standard with long delays in loading webpages. The food is nice I had springrolls and dimsum. And the interior of the restaurant is cosy and nicely decorated with evenly spaced tables. Additionally, the restaurant has a bar which is separate to the restaurant which makes for a good bar alternative. However, this is all ruined by the unprofessional and childish antics of certain staff members combined with the inattentiveness of all staff there. As a working professional I would certainly not bring colleagues or clients here. If you are looking for a bite to eat you are better going elsewhere where you will get the respect you deserve as a paying customer.

Dim sum here is delicious. It is served fresh and hot, a bit take time to prepare though. Rice texture is delicate and love it! Pork Soup Dumpling is not my taste; the rest are good. Tea is okay. Service is so so.

My experience here was totally awful. The xiao long bao here has a flour taste on top. The egg in the noodle has egg shell in it. The 肠粉 was all the taste of flour, and there was barely any 料 inside. The 生煎包 was raw inside. The stairway was really slippery that made the security fell down. I was so disappointed after I finish eating.

So firstly, the food is 8/10, can be considered tasty. However even for the tasty food it's pricey,so the price is 6/10.The worst thing about the restaurant is the waiters working there, really kill the mood of enjoying a good meal. Customer service is 4/10. Would recommend the carrot cake.

Very huge restaurant by the lake with attentive staff. The menu had extensive selection of chinese food. We loved the different dimsums and the food that we ordered except for the Xiaolongbao. The cocktails were mediocre too. However, the service was excellent.

This is how it looks like when the food came. And the plate with rice is very hot, just out from microwave, because its obvious with the rough and dry chicken texture, and the presentation is off. Noodles is overcooked and soaked in the soup. Havent try the dimsum and other dishes. So you be the judge.

You can't call this restaurant for information or booking. Their phone don't work. They also don't respond to Face Book comments of any enquiries. They serve great food. I always have my lunch at the Myanmar Plaza branch with my colleagues. But it seems they have the least care for customers at the moment.

Very nice Chinese where all you can eat Dimsum & Chinese Cuisine with reasonable price but Ala CA the menu are somewhat expensive.

Waiter didn’t even know what was the drink he was delivering to our table and didn’t even try to find out when he couldn’t answer. Many items on the menu are not available. Awful cocktails and food. Beef satay was the worst; bad strange taste. Rated 1 star for the location.

The noodle was cold and roasted pork was dry and cold. Pork dumpling was lack of juice and the other dishes weren't tasty as before

The breakfast and dining place with one of the best lake side view in the city as it is located beside famous Inya Lake. Dim Sum is delicious if you can choose and taste enough.

Place to eat in yangon and near to bogyoke market

Chef from Hongkong who spent many years in London, and now move to Yangon - so standards are very high and of British standard. Food is excellent. Must try the fried Wanton Great for a lunch with corporate customers.

Very Long waiting time. Very stingy when I go for dim sum buffet for breakfast. We are 6 people Plus one child. Every 10mins they only gave 1 or 2 dim sum no way to enough for 6pax. After asking for bill, then they send fried rice 😂 and extra food penalty charge 4,000MMK for every 10grams. FYI: Some of the Food are ready made.

Authentic Hong Kong Dim Sum in Yangon!!!!! Love the freshness of the ingredients and amount of portion. Spacious restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner (all-day dining). Other Chinese dishes like noodle, porridge, noodle are also available. Recommend to try "Fried Tofu Roll" and shrimp based dish from Dim Sum menu. You'll definitely love it.
