Would
be
easy
to
only
moan
about
the
negatives
but
will
be
fair
and
balanced.
Firstly
the
staff
are
lovely,
kind
and
friendly.
The
food
is
outstanding
and
always
fresh
and
delicious.
It
was
5
star
and
consistent.
There
was
a
lot
of
variety
and
the
chefs
were
amazing.
The
rooms
were
spacious
and
cleaned
daily.
Attention
to
detail
was
good
in
that
cleaners
added
nice
touches
and
replenished
soaps
and
clean
towels
etc.
But
the
fabric
of
the
building
needs
checking
-
hairdryer
didn’t
work
and
shower
door
hinge
was
broken
(neither
were
able
to
be
fixed
during
our
stay).
Air
con
wasn’t
effective
but,
to
be
fair,
they
send
a
service
team
to
fix
it
straight
away.
The
unfortunate
result
being
that
they
asked
my
son
to
stay
in
the
room
for
several
ours
as
the
outside
agency
that
came
to
fix
it
weren’t
allowed
to
be
in
the
room
alone
(would
have
been
more
of
a
‘5
star’
hotel
experience
if
someone
from
the
hotel
could
have
overseen
this
rather
than
expecting
the
holiday
maker
to
sit
waiting
in…….).
The
negative
for
us
was
the
music.
Fine
to
have
a
bar
with
live
music
and
fine
to
have
music
for
aqua
gym
etc
etc.
But
seriously,
it
was
pumped
out
of
two
huge
speakers
all
day
by
the
pool
and
well
into
the
night
in
the
reception
area.
We
couldn’t
snooze
by
the
pool
or
read
our
books
and
couldn’t
chat
in
the
cool
reception
lounging
area
in
the
evening.
Sure,
some
wanted
to
dance
and
that’s
nice
but
there
was
nowhere
to
get
away
from
it
if
you
didn’t
want
that
vibe.
The
strapline
of
the
hotel,
on
their
website,
is
‘A
Haven
of
Peace’.
It’s
not
that.
They
are
more
18/30’s
trying
to
be
Ibiza
trendy.
There
aren’t
enough
sunloungers
for
everyone
and
nowhere
near
enough
umbrellas
so
everyone
ends
up
securing
them
as
early
as
possible
and
then
watching
as
others
arrive
and
have
nowhere
to
sit
or
have
no
shade.
Towels
are
cleaned
daily
but
arrive
mid
morning
so
there’s
a
long
wait
and
then
a
scrabble
to
get
them.
It’s
not
fair
on
the
pool
staff
who
are
lovely
and
trying
to
do
their
best
but
simply
don’t
have
the
resources
to
do
their
jobs
effectively.
It’s
not
their
fault
but
the
experience
isn’t
5
star
at
all
and
I
felt
sorry
for
them
as
people
were
getting
frustrated
daily.
There
weren’t
enough
people
staffing
the
pool
bar
so
there
was
a
long
wait
and
the
place
was
crawling
with
wasps
-
staff
getting
stung
often.
The
poolside
snacks
were
all
pastries
so
nothing
for
anyone
needing
a
gluten
free
option.
All
in
all
we
had
a
good
time
-
the
concierge
Sharief
was
wonderful
and
arranged
some
fabulous
outings
for
us
and
would
have
moved
mountains
for
our
comfort.
Some
attention
to
the
fabric
of
the
hotel
and
a
rethink
of
the
entertainment
(separate
areas
to
suit
both
those
who
want
and
those
who
don’t
want
thumping
base
all
day
long)
would
make
this
a
better
hotel.
Go
for
the
food
though
and
the
experience
of
being
in
Marrakech
-
the
people
are
special
and
the
city
is
incredible.
