Mega-review. I come to Renacimiento Grill a lot. There’s nothing I don’t like. My favorite is the Pasta Bolognese (I add bacon!). I’m from California, home of my beloved In-N-Out…so I can appreciate a good burger too. The owner Guillermo is super friendly and spent quite some time in the U.S. so if you see him…say hi to him for me! I’ve annotated the pictures but in case you can’t see them, I’ll add it here written too: * [Bacon Cheeseburger] An amazing burger! Bacon + cheese = heaven. The bun is magical. I am legit hungry writing this review. Oh and the French fries have nice big salt crystals too, love them. * The [Philly Cheesesteak] sandwich is the bomb. Juicy. The ingredients are a little different from a traditional Philly but I think this works better! I believe its shredded Punta de Anca steak (sorry if I got that wrong!). * I love me a [Meatball Sandwich]. It’s bigger than it looks! I think I took some home on this one… * Unofficial menu item as of 9/13/2021…but boy is this [Breakfast Sandwich] good. Paired with a nice cappuccino and an orange juice and you’ve got yourself a great brunch! I hope it makes it to the full menu! ;) * This is my favorite dish! The [Pasta Bolognese]. I asked for bacon added to it! Oh my gosh soo good. Seriously love the bread and butter too…I think the bread has rosemary in it and the butter is tastefully salted. * I got a [Chicken Quesadilla]…ooey gooey yummy! Unofficially…I got mine with buffalo sauce in it and loved it ;) * I have also tried their tacos! I can't find the pictures right now...but they are tasty! I esp. love the salsa. The taco meal is a bit smaller than the others, comes with 3 of them * Oh...and another possibly unofficial menu item...there may be cocktails ;)

Great food and the owner lived in Philadelphia for years. I know my phila cheesesteaks and I can tell you the one I had was perfect. Enjoy this place and come over

Incredible meal! The owner was working and he cooked the dishes and served them as well. Such a neat spot and the pasta bolognesa was excellent. Was all fresh and made to order. Don’t let the photos fool you, the pasta dishes are actually good sized portions.

I’m living around the corner from the grill. I’ve eaten there three times and it is spot-on comfort food. I’ve had the chicken alfredo with pasta, pulled pork sandwich, and the roast pork sandwich. They were absolutely just like I would get in Philadelphia. Added to the variety to the neighborhood foods made it even more delicious.

Great food. Allow yourself the time for the chef to prepare you an amazing meal. Not a fast food eatery. This is home cooking one meal at a time cooked to perfection with love.

The food was AMAZING. Really authentic Italian food. The chef was very pleasant and welcoming. Definitely a spot for good comfort food. Top spot to visit if you’re in Medellin.

This is slap yo momma... finger licking... home cookin! The absolute best cheeseburger you can imagine. American style. Huge portion of 'shoe string' fries...Amazing. The shrimp rigatoni in red sauce and garlic was the real deal. Giant, tender, shrimp in a real Italian tomato sauce. Crusty garlic toast on the side. The owner, Gil, is hands on and super friendly.. Highly recommended.

GREAT variety, from Philly cheese steaks and pulled pork sandwiches to delicious pastas and the best pizza in the area. He always uses the best quality ingredients - and abundant portions - and he welcomes both Colombians and foreigners with the friendliness of family

Im Italian and I don’t usually eat Italian food abroad. I ordered maccheroni Sorrento AND THEY WERE AMAZING! Pasta were “al dente” tomato sauce was great and also the mozzarella was good. My boyfriend ate an hamburger and was delicious. Service was kind. Totally suggested! 😊

I come here every other day for the delicious burgers, the best in Medellín! My favourite is the bacon and blue burger - it's amazing to find a burger with quality blue cheese. The owner and chef makes everyone feel at home. 100% recommend

Food and service here is great the owner speaks English with is highly unusual for this area of town. The menu is Italian but he does a really good with burgers and fries and lots of delicious sandwiches.

Chef Gill knows how to satisfy. From burgers to pizza to sandwiches to pasta he serves quality comfort food that's unique in the area. Recommended!

I had an American steak sandwich which just OK. The reason for the low review because I was pressured in giving a tip which I initially refused. This is not my culture and I will not supplement the waiters wages. The owner (COLOMBIAN) is relying on tips so he can pay this kid. Honestly I don't think he is paying the kid. You should not be forced to tip!. This is not America!. This is a scam!. He is only doing it because he has worked in the USA. And he get away with it because americans are stupid enough to pay. One more thing he wanted me to charge a fee for using my card if I did not pay the tip 🙄🙈. I have seen the same machine before where I have not been charged or ever been charged. PAY THE KID A REASONABLE WAGE AND DON'T BLAME COLOMBIA!

Very good quality. My absolute favorite restaurant in the area. I love finding the best Italian restaurants where I travel to and this is the best. The owner is a gem as well.
