D`Arrieros Coffee Farm

Tourist attraction

👍 Interesting that it is billed as a "tourist attraction". Don't get me wrong cuz that IS what it is though they think that they are are coffee plantation. All that being said, it was somewhat informative and overall a good time. If possible, include the horseback ride add-on! People often mention coffee, tour, experience,

AMAZING experience. Did a coffee tour that exceeded our expectations. Affordable and you get more than what you pay for. Great attention from staff and the coffee is delicious. Lunch was tasty and the snacks and drinks too. Gorgeous views. Highly recommend for a day tour from Medellin, they have pickup from poblado.

I had an amazing time visiting this coffee farm. The tour was informative, fun, and hand's on. Tasted various styles of coffee and the food was delicious. The views are spectacular and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend this tour on your next visit to Medellín Colombia.

I really liked the explanation about the coffee, the proces and the way you should drink it. However, i didn't like how they treated their horses. They looked tired, skinny and had to work way to hard. Please don't book a horseriding tour here.

This was a great experience to not only learn about the history of Colombian coffee and the process of making it, but actually being involved it! The tasting portion was very informative and delicious lunch was a bonus!

Fantastic rustic tour on a family farm. Our guide, David Esteban, is part of the family and has a vast knowledge of the history of coffee. You will learn how to harvest, process, and dry coffee. You will taste coffee. You will have a delicious traditional Paise lunch. You will have a great experience.

Really cool coffee farm experience. David taught us a lot about the history, cultivating brewing, selecting and tasting of coffee. We also had a great lunch and goodie bag. Highly recommend this experience.

Mateo - the tour guide was great. Best value for the money. In depth explanation about the coffee from the seed to final product and also how to make coffee. Excellent staff , great food The tour is bound to exceed your expectations. The is review is for English tour. I don’t know anything about Spanish tour but it was going on almost parallel to us and it looked equally well planned

We booked a tour here, deciding to experience exactly what was involved in coffee production. Never would I thought there would be so many nuanced details of coffee, starting from its fruit to cultivation. They offer both Spanish and English groups, breaking them apart for a good explanation. On the one I went, I had the wonderful chance to meet their guide Cristina. She had such a positive demeanor that provided you with a wonderful experience. Also, her knowledge of coffee was clearly very in depth. I left having felt like I learned quite a lot. The best part of the experience was dressing up in the historical and still-used harvesting attire, and learning how to pick these beans, and even experiencing how it's processed. Additionally, we had multiple chances to taste coffee and coffee-derrived drinks, each a wonderful experience to the pallet. With a renewed appreciation for coffee, and a humbling experience that offered a true chance to understand the hardship that goes into this wonderful brew, it now offers me a constant reminder to appreciate all that goes into making this wonderful brew. But above most, it reminds me that we need to seek out truly well-made coffee.

Had a good experience here at the coffee farm. They split the groups up for English and Spanish speakers. Our guide (I think her name is Cristina) apologies if I'm wrong, was very carasmatic and friendly. The other reviews basically tell you what the day consists of, so won't bore you with it here lol. I opted for the horse riding at the end. The food was nice and really enjoyed the coffee and the tea and I'm not even a fan of tea! I brought 4 bags of coffee and 1 bag of tea to take back home. They give you small bag as a souvenir if you don't want to buy. It's a nice day away from Medellín. I went alone and met some really nice people on this tour. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Medellín.
