Lovely old hotel, very simple rooms but the location is just not good. I've traveled extensively and as soon as you step foot out of this hotel you get a feeling that says be on high alert(we only stayed there for 2 nights because the airport bus goes directly there then move on to our Airbnb in Boston area which we love). The breakfast buffet was simple but good. Good security in the hotel thou. Normally we stay in the center of what ever city we visit, this time I'm very glad we moved after 2 days. We were on the 7th floor and the sound was deafening. But as I said lovely hotel itself, just not for me.

Historic building with much of it's original decor. Relic of a bygone era. The agent named Paola consistently provides outstanding service, which is greatly appreciated.

Old hotel, basic breakfast, leaking shower, problems with hot water, not safe district, one should wait for the towels, they are not provide at the same time as check-in, stuff do not speak English. Poor internet connection. Close to metro station and bus stop to the airport.

Bright, clean room with AC. Good breakfast is included. Staff are very friendly but not always well organized. Located close to subway, shops, restaurants. Neighborhood is very dangerous at night.

Good hotel right in the area of Plaza Botero. Good breakfast, large room. Some have balcony. There's also several other public balconies . Great security measures are in effect. A few meters to train station.

Great experience staying at Hotel Nutibara. So, it's not the usual place to stay for a family, I'll say that, which I'm ok with. This charming behemoth of a hotel that has seen better days manages to capture your imagination and let you transport to another time while constantly reminding you that it is 2023. Chaotically but effiently ran by a team whose charm matches and often exceeds the hotel's. Driven by providing a world-class hospitality experience to everyone every time, as this history filled hotel would demand, this team brings shine to other wise lack-luster areas. Hotel and staff work together to elevate my pre conceived idea of what to expect staying here. Caught up in time, Hotel Nutibara continues to strive to be the icon it once was by staying relevant, thanks to the well-rounded, fully invested team. A big huge thanks to Harold, one of the managers there, who made my stay that much more comfortable. His professionalism embodies the energy that the Hotel Nutibare has worked very hard to keep it alive and well.

I usually stay at the Nutibara when I’m in Medillen. It is not a new hotel, it’s was built in 1945 so there are some things that might be a real turn off for some people. For example my favorite room has a water leak mark in the bathroom. It’s super easy for me to ignore because I love the huge, I mean huge balcony I get all to myself when I get the superior room. My next stay it is only costing me $5.00 usd more. Another reason I love the Nutibara is the service! It is excellent. For example I go to Medillen to shop because I live in a Pueblo. I left a box at the Nutibara from my shopping trip, I was super bummed, but I did not call them to ask if they had it. I thought it could have been in the taxi. The next time I stayed 2 weeks later the doorman came up to me excitedly and said I knew you would be back we have your box! That to me is worth 5 stars.

The rooms are big and good. It's an old hotel located very near the famous museum of Medellin. People call this neighborhood as downtown. Though the neighborhood is not so safe at night but if you are only looking to stay at hotel in night and move around during the day its safe. The staff is helpful and if you speak English ask for Paola who was working there in Jan'18. You have to be rest assured if she is working there , she will help you with everything for all English speaking people

This was the first 4 star hotel in Medellin but that was long ago. We booked a superior room with a terrace on the 10th floor for $40 a night. Very comfortable king bed large room with sitting are and plenty of closet space. A little rundown but a great value. Hotel is steps away from the Metro station, park and museum but the area is very dangerous at night.

Room was nice and clean, breakfast had a wide time window and was decent enough, friendly service. Only complaint is that the WiFi is slow! Gets bogged down when the entire hotel is trying to use it. Works great at 2am though.

We were at an independent event, someone other than the hotel was doing this event, in one of the upper floors, event was good, bar was ok, but food service was terrible...

Great location. It has 2 of the best buffet's/comidors in Medellin for price and quality.

Hotel staff extremely friendly and are prompt to assist with anything you require. Rooms are nice, but furniture a little dated. Bathroom/shower new and looks great. I have not stayed in any other hotels in Colombia, so I don't really have anything to compair to besides American hotels. 4/5 would recommend
