The
hotel
staff
was
extremely
friendly,
especially
one
of
the
older
gentleman
who
was
always
willing
to
call
taxis
for
us,
give
directions,
and
overall
give
advice
about
the
activities
we
were
doing.
The
location
of
the
hotel
is
pretty
good.
Restaurants
are
about
a
15-20
minute
walk
or
a
5
minute
taxi
away.
The
area
is
pretty
safe
according
to
the
hotel
staff
and
from
online
sources
(El
Poblado
in
general
is
considered
safe).
I
have
walked
around
in
the
day
time,
while
taking
my
phone
and
camera
out
occasionally
to
take
pictures,
and
I
never
had
any
issues.
I
have
also
walked
around
at
night
to
the
restaurant/night
life
district
with
my
brother
and
friend
and
had
no
issues.
The
room
itself
is
okay.
The
bathroom
was
pretty
nice,
but
the
rest
of
the
room
could
use
be
more
modernized.
There's
only
a
couple
outlets,
and
they
are
not
close
to
the
bed.
The
TV
also
only
had
PPV
content.
The
breakfast
was
dreadful
unfortunately.
Pastries
were
dry
as
ever.
Eggs
and
hot
food
was
actually
cold
sometimes.
Coffee
that
was
served
tasted
old
all
the
time.
But,
they
did
have
a
really
good
variety
of
fruits
and
juices.
Overall,
the
breakfast
was
passable
and
I
didn't
mind
the
quality
since
it's
not
the
fanciest
hotel,
so
I
can't
blame
them
too
much.
