Dan, the owner and the guide was communicating easy and clear and we met as instructed. After short custom made set up of my bicycle we headed for a tour. Tour was amazing. I was truly impressed with knowledge and logic with which Dan introduced me to Medellin, and explained history and present of the city. Bike tour was mix of easy urban biking, some park biking and some up the hill biking. It gave me insight and perspective that I would never have and helped me discover my new favorite section of the city, Laureles, maybe little less posh than Poblado, but definitely more authentic, livable and perfect for biking around since it is much flatter. Dan gives a fantastic bike tour of Medellin. He is a fun guide and has lots of interesting information. He also makes some great stops. This was my first visit to Medellin, and I wanted to get a good overview of the City while being active and not sitting on a tour bus. Best bike tour I’ve ever done! Dan is articulate and very knowledgable about Medellin. The focus is on the modern revitalization of the city which was the most interesting aspect to me. The riding is suited to more competent riders as the group is small and you ride between traffic like a local which for me was a real highlight, but not for the timid! Highly recommended to get a true locals feel of the city. Excellent equipment too.

Great tour. Dan has obviously gone to a lot of effort to learn about his adopted city and has a wealth of detailed information about its modern history and civic transformation from one of the most dangerous cities in the world to one of the most innovative. His bikes are better quality than you'd find on most bike tours and he is very generous with his explanations, time and travel advice . You need some cycling ability, but it is by no means a difficult ride with all the stops. We covered so much ground and had a lot of fun doing it. Highly recommended for anyone who likes cycling or wants more than a superficial tour.

Medellín Bike Tour was an awesome choice! Dan was super professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. Navigating the sometimes heavy traffic was never stressful with Dan as he had a comfortable command of traffic flow and customs. If you're looking for a leisurely pace, you might be in for a bit of a surprise but the more strenuous sections are absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!
