The first thing you need to know about San Churro (Epping) is how unhygienic the place is and how little the staff care actually care about food safety standards. A few mates and I stopped in on the 25/06/2022 for some dessert and hot chocolate. We ordered four oddly perfect combos and one side of marshmallows for my hot chocolate. It was quite a busy night so we were suprised when two hot chocolates arrived at our table within what seemed like seconds of ordering, they were missing the churro's but we weren't particularly bothered at the time because they were fairly busy. Half an hour past and my two other friends finally recieved their order of churros and hot chocolates, we asked the staff if the other two orders of churro's were far off since our hot chocolates were getting cold. Ten minutes later he arrives with our churro's, we asked if we could get 2 new hot chocolates, since ours had gone cold in the fourty minute!! wait for the churro's, He insisted we get them reheated as it would take time to make 2 new hot chocolates, we agreed since it was fairly busy and didn't want any drama. Five minutes had past and we received our reheated hot chocolates, we noticed both of them have melted marshmallows floating on the surface, we asked the staff member if he knew whether or not they were mix together when reheated, he said he wasn't sure then walked off. My friend and I went upto the coffee machine and asked the barista, if she mixed the hot chocolates together before reheating them, she said she was told to mix the drinks together by her manager to save time because "we are getting slammed" My friend explained to her that this is "cross contamination and isnt food safe". He said if one person had covid, now the other would. We asked if she could remake them, she sighed and agreed, the guy who served us said he would bring them over when they are ready. We waited another fifteen to twenty minutes to get the hot chocolates, at this time we were fed up and asked him if we could speak with the manager, he said "there is no manager on site tonight" and we would have to speak with the duty manager and she would be 5 minutes. 20 minutes later the duty manager came out to speak with us, she did not apologise for the cross contamination of the drinks or the 20 minute wait to see her, she summed it up to a miscommunication with her staff and being really busy. My friend explained to her that what her staff did wasn't food safe and asked her for a refund for the drinks. She said because we didn't bring the drinks up to her straight away she can't give us any refund even though we had been waiting for her for 20 minutes! We asked for a corporate complaints contact and she wouldn't give it, She took no responsibility for her staff and said it isn't her Job to know what they are doing. I will not be coming back here, everyone do yourselves a favour and just get dessert somewhere else.

Had the chocolate lava cake with cookie butter and mango ice cream. We didn't know it came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Vanilla flavour is the best to go with this cake. Mango and cookie butter both pretty sweet. It's so decadent that I couldn't sleep at night.

Had a coffee and churros here with a friend recently. Found the team to be relatively friendly. The food was good and coffee was hot. The service could have been a little quicker but took into an account that it was a little busy the time we went. Over heard someone else, having to chase after their coffee as they were waiting for ages. Reasonable range of items on offer. Good place to go for a coffee and there is more than one around Melbourne.

Yes taste nice. Dirty tables, dirty floors, table numbers stands broken and numbers are ripped, staff not helpful, I asked about the membership but she didn't offer me to join, no napkins or sugar on the tables for coffee, any takeaway churro place is better in my opinion. They have three toilets, the first one locked, the second one a storage room and the one open is disgusting and overflowing bin.

It was a cold rainy day and came across San Churro. Perfect time for a crispy hot churros and cuppa hot chocolate. The churros are perfectly fried, with variety of dips. The hot chocolate was velvety smooth and perfect balance of sweetness. The cafe was well decorated. The price is slightly on the higher end. I give it a 4 stars, but getting hot desserts on a cold day, I'm a little bias and give it a perfect 5.

We ordered churros for 2 with fruit and a scoop of ice cream each plus a chocolate cake. It was so good. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. They even turned on the air conditioning for us. They came by our table to ask if we needed anything. They knew we couldn't eat all of what we had ordered and bought us some take away boxes and a carry bag. Overall we had a great time and will be back.

Ordered chai latte & iced coffee. Both were really good.

What terrible service we had tonight. Not even sure you call it service. Came in to get some ice cream. After we decided what we’d get, we waited and waited for someone to assist us but the 5 staff behind the counter just completely ignored us. We then thought it might be easier to sit down & order what we wanted via the store app. That was another mistake. Placed the order and waited and waited. I checked the email confirmation to see how long we had waited and 10min had passed. 5 cups of ice cream is all we were waiting for. As my nephew was getting restless I went to the counter to see what the delay was. Again I was completely ignored until one of the staff had a light bulb moment to ask if I was ok. Explained that I had placed an order but was still waiting. Behind her was the docket with the order but nobody had touched it. Never eating there again & the app has been deleted. Absolutely terrible customer service!!

Today went there beautiful place 😍 lovely staff ❤️ the tutti fruitti was sooo delicious 😋 it's really good i really recommend this lovely place.

Ordered their churro snack packs in the s’mores flavour and the original one too. Both were really good, the only slight issue was the wait time/line was super long so there was a pretty long wait for the churros to be done. Overall really yummy and I would still recommend this place.

Good location and great coffee with fresh churros!

Apparently 'ran out of dough' at 9.45pm. We were told this after overhearing one of the boys coming and telling the guy at the cash register that they were closing soon and didn't want to make any more. Don't advertise your opening hours as 10pm if you're going to knock back sales 15 minutes before closing because you can be bothered making churros

Loved it here. It was the only coffee place open after 5 pm. The atmosphere was nice. I enjoyed a coffee and waffle. My daughters shared a smoothie, which the server kindly poured into two separate glasses for them and some churros. Staff, venue, and our order were really good.

The service is always friendly here. I was served by Alvin, he was nice and patient while I had to download the San Churro app again. It got busy, another worker came out asking if he needed help he said he’ll be OK and continued to calmly juggle several orders at a time. The churros were freshly made and crunchy, delicious with chocolate and salted caramel sauce.

Horrible experience, waited 45 minutes for the hot chocolate naughty & nice that has made me and 2 of my friends bed ridden with excruciating stomach cramps and bloating. Stay away from this drink im convinced it has laxatives in it.

they burnt my coffee and made extra hot..sometimes I take coffee from them and most of time I found taste nice.. but this is second time they made coffee bad..

Dam poor service from staff I asked for an ice tea in a glass just before 9.30 they would not serve it in a glass as we have been in there for more than an hour. We spent more than $150 dollars and I asked for a ice tea and they could not even serve me one in a glass...... because they were closing soon.

Very dirty. There are never enough staff on the manage this place properly and tables are always full of the previous customers left overs. It makes finding a table in the cramped space worse as you have to move dirty dishes aside. The churros/ food never come at the same time as the drink and ordering/waiting for food easily takes 40 minutes. There is inconsistency with the hot chocolates even within the same order. Some are way too thick and strong and some are too watery. After waiting 40 minutes this was so disappointing. I will say my experience with the churros has been better then past times as this time they wern't overone. Next time I think we will give this place a miss. Other san churro locations are much better.

We ordered at the table and it took 50min for some of our food to get to us and we had to ask two different staff for updates on the order and also a few items wasn't given even though i paid for it but i had enough waiting so i left in disappointment

We ordered two coffee and we were waiting almost 45 min! And the coffee tastes very bad 😔. The staff seemed no professional and have the hair messed and I grab hair from my churro 😖

Love their hot chocolate and chorus but super slow, I went with my 4 year daughter, it toke 45 minutes to take my order and about 30 min to get the order, my daughter was in tears. I still love Sam churro but Never going back there,

Amazing churros! We tried the rose chocolate dips and they were delicious. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick fix to address those sweet tooth cravings. Their dairy and white chocolate are fantastic as well. Never had a bad experience at any of their venues.

Hot and amazing Cappuccino. Irresistible taste Lovely and friendly staff with amazing customer service. Will visit again
