New 'Corner' store at the top end of Swanson St (near City Baths). It has got all the staples & special buys with 2 extra sections ie 'Food to Go' and a 'Bakery/Pastry' section. They also have 'Self-Checkout' for a speedy exit. Luv it.

The new 'Corner' store looks flash, but was it in need of a change? I go to ALDI for the quality and value of their products. I know what I'm going to get. Is it wise to have less of a range? Do they need a barista in store? The self serve registers are a good idea though when you just have a few items. Only time will tell if this concept works.

Very good place to shop. Clean shop with helpful and friendly staffs. The items are quite cheap and the fresh produce is well displayed and full. The specials buys are easily accessible at this place. They have started to sell gift cards nowadays which is very good.

Recently upgraded store with an efficient and modern layout. Self checkouts got put in a few weeks ago a d the range of products got bigger too. It can get quite busy in here but you’ll find everything you need for a good price. Some saver specials are unbeatable. Nice selection of German/European products available. Good for the r weekly shopping too. They also have some table for bigger and bulkier items - reminds me a little bit of a small scale Costco. Most products are rebranded but taste the same as the originals. Good selection of alcohol too.

The worst staff I have ever experienced in any Aldi stores throughout the country. The staff can't response in case if you want to locate the item which someone like to purchase. And, top of that there's a parking fee even if you are late for 5 minutes.... Defenitely, this outlet of Aldi is not to go again place. When I was ignored, I thought to watch them (this is actually called a "Benefit of a Doubt". Sometimes, the shoppers can be wrong, for example: they thought the way customer asked was not the proper way or any other reasons or even "disrespectfully" (which is, I believe, experienced also witnessed... No one, I mean no shopper or customer act disrespectfully in this country and Im very very very, and unimaginably proud to be a part of this beautiful community and a person alive of entire population of the most beautiful country called Australia without an iota of doubt, may be (unsure about it because I never witnessed, but yes, I heard from someone that, some people do not add "Please" to their questions....). Anyway, I thought may be it was my fault the way I asked, but (Im not a person to give up easily in experiencing) I decided in my mind to watch and luckily (for myself not to feel guilty), there were couple of other customers who did exactly what I have done... "Asked" for the help in locating some particular items and to make myself feel better, they (overall, the entire staff including the person who was the manager) did exactly the same and totally ignored the customers as if they never heard and gave a clear sign (when the person don't talk, their faces does) of "Get lost or get out". Sorry, NOT a good and pleasant experience and will never visit this branch again.

2022: Truly the one stop shop, with the recent revamp and break out from the traditional Aldi layout. The new bakery section is located in a more sensible location and finally, the inclusion of self checkout. No more queues eating into the isles. They also have an Almond Croissant for $3.69, which cost vs. quality, is damn hard to beat. Ground breaking. 2016: 0.5% Surcharge if you pay using card... BOO!! The Savoy's come in a 'value size'...

The newly renovated store is a great big let down a real case of style over substance. When you first walk in there's an obvious waste of space followed by too much space devoted to special buys and then a reduced selection of grocery items which is Disappointing as there is a need in the area for a place to do the weekly shop which is what you could do prior to the renovations these days items have either run out and not topped up or are no longer available due to a lack of shelf space and variety. Hate to say it but the store served the needs of the area better pre renovation. Looks like it's time to find another supermarket

A good store in the old days only. The cashier asked bag checking. He should did but in the circumstances that we were holding a lot of stuffs and he canceled the payment and asked we provide physical card to repaid again. There is nothing unpaid in the bag and all stuffs are personal belongings. Wasted at least 5 minutes and he saw nothing of his imagination. So annoying and rude. Now two cards transactions have the payment amount on pending.

It's fine for what it is, they've raised the prices on most items and the store is pretty packed with people, all in all though I still love aldi's, I think a lot of the price raising is due to inflation. Aldi's used to be the place to go on a budget but now it's hard to do that anywhere now. I'd stil reccomend for anyone who needs a place to shop, just don't go if you're expecting to walk away with money still in your pocket

Small basic supermarket. They have products unique to their brand that is not found at wools or coles. Saw aussies grabbing a few of the green curry noodles made in singapore. Coming frm sg myself, this was surprisingly okay. Noodles were slightly springy and green curry flavour was there. But it definitely lacked the usual green curry kick. Skip the tomyum one, it was gross.

Exceptional experience- I picked up some of these "Knopper Bars" and boy oh boy, were they utopia. Even took a photo of myself holding one of them. The Knoppers were my serendipity, a blessing from heaven. AMAZING. 10/10, will buy more.

This Aldi is certainly one of the largest, it's relatively easy to access, has lots of their usual items in stock and tons of special buy items as well.

Seek item said available in stock online data updated 10mins ago, not even limited stock it's stock available. And the staff just saying look at the central section if nothing there then we don't have it. They don't lead me to look for it, don't check the warehouse at back which is not helpful at all and plz update the stock availability online according to real situation not by just saying the app is wrong.🙃

This ALDI in North Sydney is different to other ALDIs. It's more like traditional supermarket layout with lot of space, however, it's smaller than traditional ALDIs. It's has traditional ALDI checkout besides self checkouts. I brought falafel and hummus wrap which was reasonable in taste and price. Other products are look alikes of branded products. I was impressed by this particular store.

Man on the check out needs to stop checking bags and then smashing all the groceries through, piling them up when you're still sorting your bag back out. I understand he needs to get his power trip in, but the Aldi checkout process doesn't allow for the delay. Maybe sit him out the back with a CCTV monitor and some wet wipes and everyone will be happy.

I frequent 3 supermarkets. This one was renovated recently. It is now brighter and spacier. Self service registers have now been set up, but only 2 serviced registers remain. The worst part is the loud, awful hip hop music. The music is so loud and bad I grabbed what I needed and rushed out the door. I won't be going back again.

Tidy store. Everything we needed was in stock. Extremely helpful staff member with fast service. Layout varies between stores so things were more difficult to find than necessary. ALDI should have signage to tell you where things are.

Going to Aldi is always like a treasure hunt, you never know what gems you will find. This store has an ample selection of foods and household items. Prices are very reasonable.

Very modern Aldi. They have self serve checkout and counters. There’s normally always the food that we need to get, and an big middle isle. The prices are almost comparable to Vic markets.

Very convenient because the location is close to CBD and Queen Victoria Market and there is public transport around. It makes a competitive supermarket, so there are many shoppers. Many cheap items are sold out. There are long queues for both the cashiers and self-serve checkouts. Crowded.

Very busy at times. Best value for money food items. I like the European and special items from around the world. Clean store, bright, friendly staff. Very popular. This information is as Sat 27 Jan 2024.

What can I say? As usual Aldi is the place for quality and prices. It is wonderful to come to Aldi which sells some very good wines at exceptional prices something we are deprived of in South Australia it's about time Aldi we're allowed to enter the liquor market in south Australia.

New revamp of the shop is great. Self serve has been awesome. Buttt where did the vegan food go! Cheese, burgers, sausages, falafels - hope it comes back.

Lots of cheaper groceries, but not always the usual brands that U may be used to. Sometimes I pop in just to look what things they have for sale this week as many items change weekly, so there are always new things to look at.

Parking is tricky, but other than that this place is lovely. The atmosphere is great, it has everything you want. Very experimental, with the juice machine and pizza maker, but that just adds to the fresh aesthetic of the shop.

Terribly unhygienic food storage in Aldi including bread, fruits and vegetables, especially the bread section. Packaging of bread is very thin, only realized bag had a hole in packaging after bought back the whole loaf of bread, really waste such a big loaf of bread. Saw a piece of bread fall out of its packaging and left in a corner unattended until it turned mouldy. Racks with bread is also very dusty and dirty. Is this the usual food hygiene in Aldi? Very concerning in terms of basic food safety and hygiene...

Really a good place to shop , many specials available. The frozen vegetables in particular are good value. Remember to take your own shopping bags. Try to avoid the early evening since it gets a bit crowded.

Big and beautiful store made for standard shopping experience. Self checkout made shopping much quicker and sales on every Wednesday and Saturday.

The new and renovated ALDI (September 2022) lacks a bit of the character of the old store but needs a bath improvement. Much tidier and seems to carry a wider range than before the renovation. Importantly there's a place for dropping off batteries and other electronic recyclables. One of the few places in Darlinghurst.

The price compared to value is unbeatable. Clean, fast checkout, friendly, everything in stock, fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoided the ripoff at 7/11 or the other corner stores and shopped here. Saved a LOT.

I came first when they opened in the morning. Paid $100 with my debit card for mobile sim topups but their system didnt print out the topups and the receipts. After half an hour of multiple staff trying, I left without any product but I lost $100. It's been a few weeks complaining with their customer service center. I now live out of town and I don't want/need any voucher to come back to their store. ACCC told me the store should give me back my money. But Aldi keep saying they CAN'T do it virtually/online to transfer back to my credit card. I talked to my bank and they don't believe that Aldi can't automatically do it online.

The staff members are incredibly kind! A few days ago, I felt unwell and fainted inside the store. When I woke up, there were caring employees around me, and they even made sure I got home safely. Special thanks to the managers who are Joy, Minna, Clare, and all the friends who assisted me that day!

😠 Very poor experience today. While trying to compare 3 different coffee beans, when I set one down to look at another, I had a staff member take the packages away from me and put them away.
