So today I got to see 2 indian an 1 African Coles security guards inappropriately touching a young disabled woman thankfully a couple of people got in an stopped them but then it was like nothing happened. Talking to some people out side after the ordeal an turns out these 3 are well known for this type of behaviour.

Very poor experience today. While trying to compare 3 different coffee beans, when I set one down to look at another, I had a staff member take the packages away from me and put them away. When I'm still standing there and looking at them, I don't appreciate having them taken from me. And when I mentioned what I was doing, he just continued to put them away. No consideration or customer service. It will be a long time before I shop there again, or recommend that location.

Have been here several times now and while it's not as large as the suburban Coles outlets, the store has what I've needed and as well as always being clean and well lit, the staff has always offered friendly service. Of course, being directly opposite Flinders Street Railway Station at Elizabeth Street, it's in a very convenient location.

Found immediately what I was looking for. Security gentleman at the front could have been happier as he is the first entity you see when you go in the store. Just saying!

Coles Central provides a good selection of the usual suspects, as well a number of amenities tailored towards city life. You’ll find a big selection of convenience and quick cook items just past the self serve, there is also a good selection of deli and bakery products, as well as a section for artisanal cheeses and cured meats.

I have been an employee @ coles and I have worked in Bakery section. I bought donuts the other day and they are the worst I have seen. Oil is too old you donut has a burnt taste, oil level too low donuts are flat and mixer is too dry. These are donuts we throw out, they are not of any quality to sell to the public. They should be ashamed of selling such donuts to the public.

The store is very convenient and I visit it frequently. Although it is a little congested, especially when you walk past the health foods aisle which is mostly pre-occupied with cages and pallets. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, especially the customer service staffs, Manisha and Richard. They are always very respectful and willing to help.

The food selection is limited in this premium location, but I love how they haven't completely gone for lunch and convenience foods like the city Woolworths stores have. You can do some grocery shopping on the way home from work or study and it's affordable as well as being in the perfect location near Flinders Street Station. It has security at night and it is necessary for the occasional people intoxicated and looking for a fight

Best place to grab a cheap good cup of coffee. Beats 7/11 at 80cents per cup. Also great stop off for that last minute recipe ingredient on your way home from Flinders/Elizabeth streets....

A decently stocked supermarket for the CBD - slightly more over priced and limited with what you can buy but probably the best in the CBD and my go to. Easy to get around and enough staff on during peak hour.

This store is of a decent size and is open till around midnight and also close to the Flinders Street Station. You can also grab a fresh salad for lunch from here if you work nearby. They have pasta, pumpkin, potato, tabbouleh, couscous and other such salad options in different box sizes.

Good for a quick shopping trip. Surprisingly good variety for a CBD location. Store was clean and although busy, checkout was fast.

We were wanting to buy gift cards for some friends whilst down in Melb and this was one of the few stores we found on the day that had a good range of cards. Staff were helpful and it was a quick purchase. Otherwise pretty standard Coles Store with self serve checkouts.

The place has very limited items available, and even to have an availability for milk is on the low side. This also includes limitations to fresh vegetables or fruits.

Crazy busy. A bit more expensive than what we are used to. We had a lovely lady on the check out. Across the road from our hotel, so very handy location.

I bought some bread rolls from here. I though the issue was they were under proven as they were a bit flat, but when I got them home I found the bottoms were moist and they were underbaked. Had to throw them away, which is disappointing and not great considering the current economic climate.

A very convenient Coles right near tram stops and Flinders Street Station. It is not as particularly large as the Coles in Melbourne Central so as a result they don't have everything a regular Coles does but they still have everything in stock.

Good shop, has everything you need and more quick service. Would have given it a 5, but they keep closing the bottle store area for some reason. Must cost them money seeing people walk up the road to buy there beers etc.

Great Coles! It's got everything you need. Great organic, naturally sugar-free and low GI products. Lots of specials and sales too

It's ok as far as small supermarkets go. It lacks the full coles range but you can get most things you need but if you wanna buy something possibly not that commonly purchased I'd go to another Coles.

Great shop in the middle of the city Has a very handy location to the railway station. Actually makes it easy to shop there tho sometimes it's a bit crowded.

Wow, like literally such an amazing store. Staff are kind and really go out of their way to help you if you ask. Five stars definitely!

I love their trading hours till midnight. They can add more stuff smartly because lot of space has wasted for service counter at front. Overall, love this coles.

Staff not so much cordial to help, not all staff members but few. Some had helped well to get what I wanted there. I felt, it could be better if they are more cordial to the outsiders as well

Got shocked. There is no soon or fork I inside. I saw some packets have spoons but this doesn't. It my bad luck to get this. But it doesn't feel right to get a salad without a serving stick( fork or Spoon) from one of the leading companies. Fix this issue . It happened once in Clayton coles too. I don't know what does it mean. May be some boxes are packed without checking or something else. Fix this issue ASAP

Open late and super convenient, but they didn't stock the pesto that I was after.

The staff and manager are rude, and the manager let's his girlfriend in, when we were the last customers rudely told to get out by security . His girlfriend look's around 17 and he is about 45 walks in the door at 11:59pm. This is not the first time these staff have been nasty to customers they are also rude to people who are homeless.
