It
is
February
2024,
and
I
am
still
recovering
from
an
allergic
reaction
(hives)
from
cephalexin,
which
was
prescribed
to
me
by
a
nurse
who
was
working
that
day
in
late
April
2023.
They
had
no
doctors
at
all.
Nurses
are
not
doctors,
and
I
had
learned
the
hard
way
how
nurses
lack
the
experience
and
education
that
doctors
have.
I
will
never
ever
go
to
an
Urgent
Care
that
does
not
have
a
doctor.
I
came
in
for
an
infected
cyst
on
my
behind
in
late
April
2023.
The
male
nurse
was
very
rude
to
me.
He
was
complaining
that
he
had
to
put
his
gloves
on,
even
though
that
was
his
job.
He
opened
my
butt
cheecks
in
an
aggressive
way,
instead
of
telling
me
to
relax
my
muscles.
He
did
not
even
ask
me
for
consent
verbally
whether
it
was
okay
to
examine
my
behind
for
the
infected
cyst.
He
also
did
not
give
me
a
warning
about
him
trying
to
pop
the
infected
cyst
on
my
behind.
He
was
very
incompetent.
He
prescribed
me
cephalexin
for
the
infected
cyst,
even
though
there
were
other
options
also.
He
was
aware
that
an
allergic
reaction
would
be
posibble,
but
he
never
warned
me
about
it.
After
seven
days
of
taking
cephalexin,
my
skin
was
itchy,
and
full
of
pink
or
reddish
hives.
So,
I
had
to
go
back
to
the
same
Urgent
Care,
and
the
nurse
told
me
to
relax
and
that
everything
would
be
alright.
It
wasn't.
In
a
few
days,
I
still
had
hives
even
with
the
new
treatment.
Then
weeks
and
many
months
have
passed,
and
I
am
still
dealing
with
the
allergic
reaction.
My
doctor
is
still
working
on
trying
to
fix
the
mess
that
Urgent
Care
has
created
for
me.
As
of
February
2024,
I
am
still
dealing
with
the
hives.
I
am
still
on
anti-histamines,
and
I
am
still
paying
more
money
out
of
my
pocket
for
the
medication.
The
medication
makes
me
feel
thirsty
all
the
time,
and
now
I
am
paying
more
money
for
water
also.
I
have
to
take
the
medication
or
else
I
would
be
itchy
all
day.
Lastly,
the
manager
of
this
place
needs
to
take
responsibility
for
what
has
happened,
and
this
manager
needs
to
stop
pretending
that
this
is
not
Urgent
Care's
fault.
