Located in the developing outskirts of Merida, the inn has one advantage: it is walking distance to a supermarket and the anthropological museum. Looking for culture? You may be out of luck - 30 min drive to the vibrant center with all its bars and music. But the reason for giving 1 star was more serious miscommunication with the 'management', or complete lack thereof. I was there for a planned stay of five days, three covered by the local research institute and they had my credit card on file. My host receives a call on day three to send people to pack up my luggage. That was it. No note, like hey we noticed you are still around, or receipt the night before, with a can we help you? I felt evicted and humiliated. For me, they ruthlessly broke number one rule for hosts: take care of your guests and treat them with respect. Catastrophic!

Rooms are nice. General service is below expected service in this chain hotels. Breakfast prices are higher than other same hotels in other similar cities. Lobby is in second floor and elevators run from motor Lobby to lobby but also to rooms so at rush hours is very slow. As a Fiesta Rewards member you are offered 25% discounts on food and other expenses but this offer does not apply to room service and Breakfast (so you can not apply discounts in common services a business traveler uses). I also had 2 different meals and paid for them. They just delivered 1 of 2 invoices correctly. Second invoice was sent late and with incorrect data.still waiting for my receipt or factura. They do not have. 100% satisfaction guarantee policy so if you have any problem during your stay, they will not make a discount not reimburse any charges.

Very nice, but also expensive. Good breakfast. Paid 2700.00 mx more than we normally pay but we're really tired and just got off the road. Good service

We recently were between houses and wanted an economical hotel near the house we were moving to. Fiesta Inn Merida was clean, comfortable and the room service dining was excellent - food and service. I plan to have friends and family stay there. It is super convenient to our home.

Not bad for a one night stay but any longer and the hard stone floor, cheap furniture and worn out towells and bed linen would have become anoying.

The staff were polite and friendly. The Air condition was not cooling at 1am, we had to move to another room. The hotel is in a quiet area, near several malls, super market. Buffet is fresh, but needs more variety. Great fruit, nice gym, clean pool.

Even without hot water in the room, great bed, amazing service from the cook and waiters at the restaurants.

Excellent food and service . Daniel who was serving us in the Dining Hall speaks excellent English and is very polite.

First of all, this place is a 2 / 5 but I felt the 4.6 rating was highly inaccurate and needed to be brought down. Pros: Extremely kind and helpful front desk and restaurant staff. They really did try their hardest to be pleasing. Cons: Luke warm shower. Even on the highest setting, it didn’t get hotter than a luke warm, and apparently it wasn’t just us. Dirty beds. Our sheets and pillows had lipstick stains. We asked for them to change it, and even afterwards the pillow still had lipstick stains. While we were in our room, someone knocked on their door and was dressed in a full hazmat suit. Apparently they had to sanitize our room due to covid? The hotel employee, dressed in a hazmat suit, and equipped with a bug spray type wand entered our room and literally sprayed the floor with an unknown chemical, disregarding the clothes and sheets strewn around. Isn’t this something they should be doing in between guests? Highly disturbing. At first glance, the lobby had a nice modern decor to it. But the more you pay attention, the more obvious it is that it’s almost like a nice AIR BnB. Nice exterior, but a cheap interior littered with cheap ikea style furniture.
