We have been coming here for little over a year now. My son absolutely loves it (he is 3 years old). Definitely open for children and adults, a nice trail loops around the area and also goes up the hill where the jumps are located. Bathrooms are decent, water available and 2 shaded picnic areas to watch the bicyclists (or sometimes scooterists).

I didn't know what to expect when I chose to drive out to Mesa this morning. I remember the trails of years past but they are long gone. The city had increased funding and made this place sick! Imagine the Papago bike jumps if they were well groomed. There is a pump track, a skulls course with some little ladders and teeter totter. There is a beginners course with beautiful berms and lippy little tables. There is an intermediate course with bigger berms, some ladder drops and some fun jumps into and out of berms with some bigger doubles at the end. Then there is an expert course with massive berms, big ladder drops, transitions out of berms and some big doubles. 5 foot lips and 8 to 10 foot gaps. The place is as firm as concrete and extremely well groomed. It is a playground :)

Great place for all skill levels. Very clean and maintained well. The workers are a bit rough, stared at my wife the hole time making her a bit uncomfortable while blasting the most ghetto rap i've ever heard. But other than that the lay out is great and the trails are a lot of fun.

Great view of Mesa, walk trails are easy and enjoyable. If you ride bikes and love to jump ramps. This is the place.

08/10/22. 5 stars. I walked the park and it has no apparent storm damage. No areas are off limits and signage is excellent. Trails are varied and clearly identified. Views of the valley are spectacular. Parking, restrooms, sinks, ramadas are all acceptable. The planning, design implementation and availability of the trails and courses is 5 stars ++++. Visiting hundreds of parks has deepened my appreciation and respect for park engineers and architects. Desert Trails Park is among the finest.

Various level trails from beginner to advanced mountain biking. Shady spots to sit for watching the course or to fuel up after having fun. Restrooms and a sometimes operational water fountain help in emergencies. As a supportive spectator I appreciate hiking the mostly flat Rollie Pollie trail that begins at the east side of the parking lot, goes to the east of the hill and follows around to the south side until finishing back at the west side of the parking lot. Helmets, water and a camera help keep you safe and captures the biking tricks!

Love riding this park. Always show up here during the winter months. Small line is fun and fast. Medium line is very tight and better to ride on a small bike. The pro line is insane and I want to get better so I can hit it.they have a little tech course and also a little spot for the little kids. Overall a really fun place to ride for the whole family.

Desert Trails Bike Park in Mesa, Arizona, is an absolute five-star gem for mountain biking enthusiasts! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the sheer awesomeness of this place. The trail system here is top-notch, with a variety of trails catering to riders of all skill levels. You'll find the perfect terrain to explore whether a beginner or a seasoned pro. The park is exceptionally well-maintained, and the clear and informative signage makes navigating easy, even if it's your first visit. Safety is a priority here, and they've thought of everything, including rental equipment and lessons for those just starting. The desert scenery surrounding the park is nothing short of breathtaking. It's a truly unique backdrop for a day of biking adventure. Pack plenty of water and sunscreen, especially in the Arizona heat! It's an incredible destination for mountain biking, and I can't wait to return for more thrilling rides in the beautiful Arizona desert!

Long shot but I left a pair of Oakley sunglasses on the table out there. If someone reads and found a pair, please let me know I do wish there was more lighting after the sun goes down. Only place like it though that I have found, I go back every now and again

Such a fun park. My almost 4 year old loves coming here. It's not usually too busy which is great for him to learn. There are really nice pump tracks for beginners.

Great place for anyone at any skill level to ride. Nice moderate to easy mountain bike trail around the entire mountain. I think it is like a half mile each lap.

Place is awesome, it has everything you need for mountain biking. From designated areas to work on skills, to high flying jumps on the advanced courses!

Extremely well maintained trails. Great for any skill level. BMX, mountain bike, even off road skateboards have been seen ripping it up.

This place is pretty cool. There are multiple levels for all ages. The top 2 are trails down the mountain.

Very fun! My 9 year old loved the pump track, but he is fearless. A good perimeter track that was fairly flat, good for us beginners. I saw some little kids, but most were crying. I think this is for 10- adult.

Concrete Downhill Bike Park...Better for Dirt Jumper Mountain Biking and BMX Bikes ... My XL Transition Sentinel was kind of long for lippy jumps...Had A Blast There

BEWARE OF KIDS! The place is awesome, great jumps and sick pumptrack. But there are so many toddler's that will walk right in front of you when you are flying 25 mph down a hill. Parents need to control their damn kids. Other than that, awesome place and I'm glad the mesa community decided to build it.
