Flavors from Asia brought to you by Simi’s Cafe. Tasty, authentic Chinese dishes, aromatic Vietnamese beef noodle soup (pho), and famous Pad Thai are made from scratch! I love trying new places. Inside is very quaint. Family liked it. Soups are great

We loved this restaurant, the service was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious. We tried the spicy beef pho, it had meat and meatballs and was really spicy, I really enjoyed it. We also tried the chicken pad Thai, the flavors were so delicious. The spring rolls were very good as well and the sauce with them was a perfect pairing. I definitely will be coming back.

(longer review posted on Yelp) Sadly, we had a terrible experience today at Simi’s Cafe. I heard great things about their food and that they didn’t use any MSG in it. In addition I called to double check, and they verified. Simi’s is located in an extremely run down building and has little to no curb appeal. However, the interior is much better. While small, it appeared well cleaned and the Asian Candy was a cute twist. We were greeted by Diane, who was very kind. However, things start to go downhill then. We had to wait over 30 minutes to order appetizers because we were informed they “had to clean their kitchen”. We waited patiently however I’m confused why they would do this during dining hours. I actually thought it was quite rude, many patrons got upset and left due to this, but we were starving. Firstly, they need to update their online menu’s, as many items listed are no longer available. Diane was nice enough to replicate their BBQ Pork Slices, though. We also ordered Potstickers and Lettuce Wraps. The BBQ Pork Slices were just okay, they had a large amount of fat and no sauce on them. We were given Sweet & Sour Sauce and Wasabi Mustard, which seemed strange as BBQ Pork Slices are usually coated in Asian BBQ Sauce. The Wasabi Mustard was practically inedible due to how spicy it was. The Potstickers were really good, and the lettuce wraps were okay. There was hardly any lettuce for the amount of meat. For some reason the food was served on paper plates, which didn’t bother us but I wonder why they do this. For Entrees- we ordered the Orange Chicken, the Filet Mignon with Kalbi Sauce, the Garlic Chicken, and the Thai Basil. Diane was able to customize some of the dishes, so we were excited to try the food. While waiting for the food, I stopped by the restroom. There was mold on the ceiling tiles and the sink only had cold water. The food came out only 2-3 minutes after the appetizers which was disappointing as we didn’t even get the chance to finish our appetizers. The Orange Chicken was horrible. The Chicken was 90% breading, and the Chicken was extremely hard. The Sauce was almost indelible due to how sweet it was. (1/5) The Filet Mignon with Kalbi Sauce wasn’t any better. If anything, it was much worse. For $18, I would have expected more than 6 small cubes of steak. The Filet was practically swimming in sauce, and most of the dish was vegetables, and a lot of onion. They pre-cook their steak and it tasted really old, and the sauce was salty and left a rotten taste in our mouth. It was chewy and grisly, nothing like Filet Mignon should taste. (0/5) The Garlic Chicken tasted like straight MSG. It had that horrible salt aftertaste and the person that ordered the dish couldn’t even finish it because of how salty it was. It was obviously a pre-packaged sauce riddled with chemicals, because it lacked any authenticity Garlic Chicken should have. There was absolutely no spice to it so it just tasted like salt. In addition, the vegetables were not cooked so they were raw and hard. Nobody could point out a Garlic Flavor, just a salty flavor that left much to be desired. (0/5) Finally, the Thai Basil. This dish was also an Americanized version- there was NO basil flavor and it was so spicy we could not eat it. The waitress told us that it was served Medium- to me it tasted like Hot! (0/5) In addition, to make things worse, we all got a HORRIBLE stomachache after eating the food. We think it was MSG or chemicals (even though they claimed they didn’t use it). We had to go home because we all had headaches, stomach pain, nausea, ect. I am honestly puzzled how this place gets 4.5 Stars with over 700 reviews. It’s possible we went on an off day however food poisoning or MSG poisoning is not okay especially after being told there was no MSG after we explained that we had a severe sensitivity. I would stay away from this place, with all the 5 Stars I seem like the odd one out but the experience we had today was completely and utterly unacceptable.

I have driven place Simi's so many times, and today i finally decided to go check it out. The atmosphere was very chill, and relaxing. I love the red wall! My family, friends, and i were the only one's....which was totally fine with us. Tons of people coming in for to go orders though. My hubby and i ordered the veggie rice with no eggs. Also ordered the veggie chow mein, and orange crispy tofu. I was hesitant about the tofu but when i tried it, it blew me away! Staff was beyond friendly, and always checked on us in a timely manner. Will definitely be coming back, thank you for the delicious food and wonderful hospitality 🙏❤

We have been coming here for a number of years now ...and can say that this is our favorite Chinese restaurant! The service is great and the owner is amazing - always very kind and attentive. The food is delicious!! We typically order the Mongolian beef and the orange chicken - great flavor on both! Today, we added the edamame - I love that it wasn't smothered in oil! The restaurant is very clean. Highly recommend!

The food was really good and the lady working was extremely nice! I did the lunch special and got chicken fried rice. It was a lot of food for a good price.

First time here and came in for lunch. The food was delicious and the server was super friendly!! Had the sliced beef pho, pot stickers, veggie egg rolls and some tea that was amazing. Will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes and for the amazing service that we received.

The staff here are very welcoming and take great care of their guests. The one who served us even remembered that we were new to the area. The food here is addicting and beyond good! I would recommend stopping here when you have time to sit and eat or even for take out. You will not be disappointed.

4.38 stars Honestly was really good for the price! And man theu were the fastest food to table I have EVER had. Only complaints no fountain drinks or tea, only by bottle. Egg drop soup needed more egg, it was good but little lacking for the price still worth it. Asked for extra spices mad it not spicy, had bring me out chili paste. Food would of been better if cooked with the chili. Will go again.

Cannot speak highly enough of Simi's. The customer service here is exceptional- our waitress was so kind and went out of her way to check up on us. It was our first time here and we seemed to be the only customers they didn't know- everyone who came in they treated like old friends. The restaurant has an unassuming exterior, but the interior is nice and clean and pleasant. And the food! Fantastic. Portions sizes are crazy and the food is absolutely delicious. My husband got his favorite orange chicken he's ever had! We could have split our entrees. We decided that next time we come we'll split an entree and an appetizer.

We've driven by this location many many times over the last few years. Finally, we decided to visit. We can't believe we've been missing out all along! Someone in our house wasn't feeling well, so we ordered Beef Pho to go for her. I also ended up getting the pho and it was delicious. The broth had an amazing flavor. We also ordered House Pan Fried Noodles...oh my gosh, so good. Next time we will order it with about half the sauce, it was a little much. But it was great! Service was very personal. We felt welcomed and individually cared for. The manager/server made significant effort to come speak with us, make recommendations, and small talk. And it was very much appreciated. Another server noticed that we rode a motorcycle, and made sure our to-go order was packaged up so that we could place it in our backpack without spilling. Small things like that are missing from most other establishments these days.

Wow. Every diner in the restaurant seemed to know the staff. Every seat was filled and I received the last open seat in the house without waiting. The service was prompt, and after ordering I only waited a few minutes for my food. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai (it’s a noodle dish with chicken). Everything was delicious. I had planned on taking half the dish home with me to munch on later but I couldn’t stop and I had to eat the whole thing. I don’t know why I didn’t try this place before!! If you haven’t been to Simis, you have to go. By the end you’ll feel like family.

I eat here as regularly as I can. The food is so good! I especially like their teriyaki chicken. The veggies seem fresh, not saturated in sauce like a lot of places. I've tried several of their dishes and I've enjoyed them all. I also like the quaint, authentic and personal atmosphere. Very kind staff and great service!

Extremely friendly employees! Server was so helpful. This vegetarian asked to substitute tofu for a chicken dish. Tofu was very chewy, but the flavors were amazing! Way too much to finish, but enjoyed the rest of the meal the next day. If possible to change one thing, it would be the way the tofu was cooked. Enjoyed the overall experience so much that it's definitely worth a return trip! (Maybe the chef just had an off day) Regardless, the "front of house" employees are worth the trip!

I was looking for a place for Singapore noodles on the way back from Gold Canyon, and this place did not disappoint! It had a stronger curry flavor than some other places I've been to. They asked if medium spicy was fine, and I said ok, but it came back not spicy, which was not a problem. I don't know if the peppers they used just weren't spicy this time or something, but it was amazing without any spice. (They also offered me some chili to put in it anyway.) I also ordered egg flower soup. I love the meat they put in it. Hubby ordered house chow fun. Very yummy! The owner was so genuinely kind and courteous. She treated us like family, which is so rare and refreshing. I can't wait to come back again. God bless this beautiful family business!

A very nice neat and clean place pleasant service all the way around. I would have gave it five stars but they don't use silverware and plates it's all in plastic. I thought the fried rice, the lo mein, the Mongolian beef for all very good, the General Tao's chicken was a little soggy and soft. Coke is in a bottle so me refills. The weekday lunch menu I think was a very good value.
