Very tasty food, I recommend the Kitfo. It's slightly spicy, I usually can't stand spice, but this was perfectly fine. Service was friendly, and you can even learn some Ethiopian words.

Venus dîner un soir entre amis, nous avons beaucoup aimé Sefed ! 👌 Les saveurs des différents plats (qu'on déguste avec les doigts), la gentillesse des serveuses, la chaleur de la cuisinière (une éthiopienne qui nous concocte les petits plats de sa grand mère), l'ambiance conviviale, la déco africaine... Tout nous a plu. C'est copieux et le rapport qualité prix est très correct. C'est rare d'avoir des restaurants éthiopiens à Montpellier, raison de plus pour y aller ! En tout cas, nous on reviendra 😃

A cozy spot in the center city, SEFED offers authentic Ethiopian cuisine that is beautifully plated and delicious. It is a great addition to the international food scene of Montpellier. The menu selection is plentiful for those who are vegetarian or vegan. The owner is very hospitable and is happy to share the flavors of her cultural roots with you. I will definitely return for another visit soon.

I had a lovely experience here. The food was great and the owner was extremely kind. We had the Doro tibs and the vegetarian platter. It was nice to eat with my hands after a long time and I appreciate the restaurant for encouraging it :) Overall I would recommend this place!
