Dear future Passengers. Please be aware that the Paris, SNCF (trains), RAPT(metro-rer) and Buses have fines that are substantial for simple errors by tourists. Today I had to go from Paris to La Defense and bought a Metro ticket thinking it was good for La Defense. IT IS NOT. So be extremely careful on these points: 1. There is no ticket thar covers BUS, metro and RER. You need to buy a BUS ticket for 1.90 euro. An error there is a fine of 50euros. 2. Metro tickets are only valide around the proximity of Paris. La Defense is outside the zone. Ticket from Paris to La Defense is 2.80euros. After seeing my error, I was blocked by the automatic gates i went to a RAPT agent asking why i couldnt exit. Ticket invalide. FINED 35euro. 3. Trains have heavier fines. If you depart on a wrong date. This happens. So always double check your tickets. If this does happen you ll have to pay full fair for that day on the train. Sometimes 100% what you paid for. If you refuse to pay, they will call the police on the train, or they will escort you to the next stop and have the police waiting for you their. I hope these advices will help future visitors to Paris. Enjoy your stay in Paris

The worst control people ever. Got lost looking for the correct tickets and we were fined after being in Paris, for the first time, for less than an hour. Even after we paid, the escorted us out of the incorrect area but did not tell us where to buy the correct tickets. They don’t care if you made a mistake, they probably receive commission on the fines. The rudest people in the world who just wanted money. If you’re a tourist, avoid this train station or ask someone where to buy a ticket before because the controllers will just take your money and not tell you where to get a correct ticket in the hopes that they can fine you again!

It is an extremely large and nice and well labeled train station, however we found it extremely difficult to navigate when we are carrying heavy luggages and trying to transfer from the subway station to the commuter line because even though we had tickets for it somehow the gates would not let us through and we had to rely on the kindness of strangers for us to be able to exit the metro part in order to be able to enter the RER part. We still have no idea how one would be able to transfer immediately between 1 line to the other, because we don't see any way to go around the exits and they were absolutely 0 attendance available for us to ask for help.

Be aware of people at metro station. They try to help you and take your money. Buy tickets at the service desk if there is any confusion. There is two entrances to the metro station. There is service desk at the second entrance. Beware of these two people they robbed my family by 160 dollars and sold him 60 cent one way tickets.

Worst experience Firstly, one of the staff members decided to stop me and my sister, for no reason I guess it’s because When I was going through the gates, the women behind me decide to jump as well, and the gates started to make loud noise. The staff member didn’t stop her, but me! When my ticket was absolutely fine. Then I decided to use vending machine and as soon as paid, the machine turned off and it said that it has technical issues. Awful station, ruined my day. For that staff member- instead of stopping people, keep an eye who is actually breaking the rules. And check that your station is actually working properly, including vending machines.

Not one waiting/sitting area and no toilet. Terrible if you have to wait for your bus and train for a few hours here. There are some cafes so you can eat and spend some time, but still I had to walk quite a lot to finally find a bathrom inside a shopping mall.

A national embarrassment for France. Elevators don’t work for days (or ever), ticket machines break, the gates break sometimes when people are using them, the signs are poor, it’s dirty and a lot of it stinks of piss. The trains are dirty and smelly too, there is no staff most of the time and the majority of people are rude and will post children out of the way. This isn’t just this station it’s the whole metro and RER network in Paris. Parisiens should be ashamed of this.

Take the train to La Défense unless you know the area well: parking can be very difficult. Pay attention to the weather and especially the sky; skies with fast moving clouds make great black and white, long exposure photos. If you walk around buildings, make note of the access to parking and walk around these areas for good photos while looking up. Most buildings have fantastic reflections, also, so watch where the sun is positioned. If you stay after dark, the night photography is also fantastic. Bring a tripod and neutral density filters for long exposure shots during day and after dark.

A very large station, but after a few visits it becomes familiar. There are many useful shops and food outlets at the upper level.

The train station is huge and has options to connect to the metro line as well bus station almost anywhere in Paris. The station is directly connected to 2 major shopping malls VNIT and QUATRE TEMPS. There are lot of stores to shop formclothes, beauty products and accessories and flower shops and exhibition of local products on the main station inside and around the ticket counters .

Utterly miserable place. The worst part of my daily commute to work. Dark and ugly and dirty and crowded. Poorly designed. Miserable place.

Well organized and spacious station. You can basically go to anywhere from here ( airport, Disneyland and etc.. ). Attached to the Westfield shopping mall.
