Very arrogant waiters and chef. My 32£-steak was not medium as ordered, but entirely done, picture is included. When I complained the chef came to explain me, that the steak should better be saved the way it is and showed no discretion at all.

A good place to stop by if you want to eat local food after Metzingen outlet shopping.

I did discover this place by traveling the area. Very close to the Outlet City Metzingen, yet a quiet area in the midst of fields and gardens and forests. Superb homemade cuisine and impeccable service. Rooms are lovely and very clean. The view down to the lake is perfect and for a morning run-nothing better in this true nature hotel. Well done!!

Hotel with a nice view in a pleasant walking area. Friendly staf. Unfortunately the curtains were translucent so it was difficult to sleep for us and for our 1 year old. And also the pilows were from bad quality.

Brilliant service, helpful, kind. Great menu, good wine. Fantastic view over the lake. Open terrace for eating outside. Always a great experience. Very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommendable.

I stayed there for two nights. I must acknowledge my admiration with the staff and the place. Very decent staff wherever in the hotel. The cleanness and hygiene is very good. The location is very inspiring. Breakfast was great. Highly recommended.

A place to be, to relax and to have a good time with tasty food, good service and a nice walk around the water reservoir. Food is traditionally swabian. What I can recommend is to try the Rostbraten or deer or wild boar. You can expect local meat in a very tasty traditional style (grilled or fried) with delicious sauce and spaetzle. The service and team is very friendly and welcoming. Only the salad buffet could be more inviting in terms of presenting. The plastic-bowls are not really appealing. That's why not 5 stars.

Food was alright, nothing too special though. The plates did not come to the table at the same time, so my mom got her food only after I had finished at least half of my plate. Nevertheless, a nice experience.
