The food is always amazing...been coming here for over a decade. The staff is amazing. However, I can't believe the owner and management allow the abuse of their staff. They actually take the transactional fee for paying with credit or debit card from the staffs TIP...Absolutely disgusting!!! Shame...Please fix that ASAP...I will not feel comfortable eating here and supporting such abuse of power. This is your business, transactional fees are either the restaurants or the clients responsibility, not the servers...Greed is a SIN!!

Nice Cuban restaurant. We like coming here. Haven't been here in a few years. Food is good. Place is clean. Bathrooms are clean as well. Prices are very competitive. Feels very safe. Staff is friendly. Nice decor. Parking lot is a bit crowded. Just have to be patient but you'll find a parking space eventually. We recommend this place. Thank you very much for checking in. Have a blessed day.

Ordered Uber eats because I’m home with a fever when the food got here it was undercooked and chewy so I called them to tell them what happened and when I was talking to the manager she just hung up on me. This was on Sunday may 1st at 4:15 ridiculously bad experience while home with a fever never again will I eat or order from this place 👎

One of the best Cuban restaurants in Miami. Always busy, but service is always excellent. The food is simply awesome. So may choices from traditional to a little fusion mixed in.

After discovering this place a few years back we make it a point to come back at least once for the food, it is delicious every single time BUT the customer service was so incredibly disappointing. Both visits my family and I received such poor service from two different servers, never checked in on us after taking our orders, she looked so unhappy to have to serve us. The experience was so horrible I had to bring it up to the manager (Mario) who apologized on their behalf. Overall the feeling we all left with was dissatisfied.

What a nice restaurant! Great location and lovely customer service, me and my husband take a road trip to Miami every month to buy fresh ingredients for our food business. Every time of the month we pick a different Cuban restaurant to always order fried fish and milanesa. However this time we got no Cuban garlic butter bread on our table and that was sad, we ask for it due the fact that they only provide it if you do so and pay extra, so we did order with out luck 😌 we got no bread! However the waitresses were really nice but for “no bread” we are not coming back.

The place gets packed but the waitress I had did an awesome job attending to me. The food was super yummy as well! 🤤 They do get pretty full so expect a bit of a wait but overall would go again.

Nice cozy place with good food, but it could be better, the black beans I had with rice and Vaca Frita lacked flavor or texture, it was more like a soup. Also the ridiculous rule of charging $2 dollars for sharing a meal is outrageous, my wife and I usually share a meal due to healthy eating habits but it’s the first time I had to pay for an extra plate. Our server was apologetic and explained that usually customers get angry at them for telling them that they were being charged extra for a plate. I paid my fee and eat my food but I for certain won’t be coming back.

Menu selection is very poor. Foods taste bland. No bread. Yes, no bread. Staff is courteous and friendly, but prices aren't worth it. Cuban sandwich is meager and poor. Would NOT recommend. Other Cuban restaurants in the area are much, much better quality and price.

The food here is good but nothing special, you can definitely get something better somewhere else. The portion size is awesome it’s very shareable But I don’t think they should charge you &$2 just to portion out the food in two different plates that’s ridiculous

Update: food was horrible. They used fake meat to sub for steak. (Palomilla, churrasco, skirt). The soup was served cold. The staff was wonderful and try their best but have to apologize too much for the food. I mostly do take out now. Call ahead. Order is ready and Correct! Same great food!

I ordered my food by means of their website. The chicken, as seen in the photo, was raw on the inside. The plantains were cold. My wife said the Vaca Frita was was “delicious.” I called to get my food remade, but the staff never answered.

  • 5/5 Tony J. 2 years ago on Google
Great authentic Cuban food. Quick service and they even has a outside takeout window if you don't want to sit in the restaurant. Got to go and it was absolutely delicious and came with fired plantains.

This place leaves a lot to be desired. I placed an order online and what I got was nothing like what I ordered other than the presentation. For me it is the last time.

  • 3/5 Ivan R. 9 months ago on Google
Ordered a vaca frita with cróquetas. Let me just say those croquetas were on point, VERY GOOD. The vaca frita on the other hand…. The seasoning the food had was very good. The only problem I had was with the portions. I should’ve taken a picture but I ate it already (oops). I order a vaca frita with a side of congri y papitas. Papitas are papitas can’t really go wrong with that… congri was very good and well seasoned. The problem lies with the portions which I’ve stated before… it was basically like I ordered a congri entree with a side of vaca frita. Very small portion of meat. I’ve never dined inside being that it’s my first time here; but as far as takeout is concerned small portion of meat. Those croquetas though, WOW.

Food is 10/10! My favorite Cuban food in South Florida. And the prices are fair and not inflated like most restaurants. My main problem with this place is the service. We have the rudest waiter who acted like we were a pain. He forgot half our order, I had to keep reminding him. Asking other waiters to find him. It was very difficult. And then there was dust on all surfaces besides table. The restaurant needs a deep cleaning. I will still go back because the food, but they need help with service and cleaning

We have been coming here to eat with the family, big and small groups from our church family and always enjoyed the delicious authentic Cuban cuisine. The environment is friendly and Alba and Jorge are the best servers there. The wraps are one of my favorite things to order. Breakfast is always on point. Do what we do and enjoy the best croquetas around with café con leche. The only thing that’s changed recently is process to order food the an app. We received a couple of orders wrong and I wish you could call back like back in days.

Amazing food! It’s so good! It could have a little better cleaning, but it’s way cleaner than other places. Their Palomilla Steak is amazing and a great deal! It comes with fries, rice and beans (as sides). Their small toast with butter is must when you go there. The beans are not too seasoned and not under seasoned, just at the spot. The fries are AMAZING! The steak is great, it’s very big, and could serve 2 persons if not that hungry! Really recommend Casavana!

I've been a long-time fan of this restaurant, but my recent visit was a bit of a letdown. While the food is still good, the portion sizes have noticeably shrunk, and they're now charging for what used to be complimentary bread and for any change. It feels like they're cutting corners to save costs even after their prices have gone up as well.

  • 5/5 George C. 5 months ago on Google
Definitely a good place for lunch. Waitress was on point and food came out super fast. I have to admit that the atmosphere is very loud, especially during lunch so if your planning on meeting here for a lunch meeting beware that it is a loud place. Besides this, service and food were great!

I usually order from this place because it's super close to home and they always exceed my expectations. Food is amazing. Just typical Cuban cuisine, great! The milanesa (chicken or steak) is huge! I usually leave overs for next day lol 100% recommended. And more so if you're seating there by the canal and enjoy the breeze and the ducks walking around you lol

Use to be our go to place before COVID, Don’t know what management is thinking about ?,but the have taken out seats on every other booth, Looks Like they are under construction, caution tape everywhere, Kind of Halloween Looking. Lol Not appealing at all. Went to other establishment and food/ service/ and seating was as before COVID and great.

Food is above average. Service is good. Portions are somewhat small but with great flavor. The best thing about this place is the fact that you can eat many different "dishes" in one meal

  • 1/5 Linda F. 3 years ago on Google
Service needs improvement! We ordered a blt sandwich and she brought a bottle chicken wrap. This was not a favorable report the waitress did not get the order correct and did not speak English, I wanted to return the food to get the correct order but my husband being more forgiving did not. We have went there a few times where we sat outside and it took for ever for someone to acknowledge us.

Best breakfast spot in all of Miami. Will drive from anywhere for their breakfast. My son who is 4 and is a picky eater will eat the entire plate. His favorite is the kids Casavana breakfast with the mickey shaped pancakes. The staff is very nice. Never messed up my order and we get it quickly. In and out in less than an hour.

Their Croquetas are very tasty their breakfast=I found the eggs to be a little small the bacon was delicious and the Cuban toast that was a turn down the bread is not that tasty and it looks like it's been sitting there for a while it wasn't really hot for toasted Cuban bread. Coffee was good. The waitress was very nice her service was okay she forgot to give us the Croquetas while we were having breakfast so we had to take them to go we wanted to have it at breakfast time.🤔 I would go again however I would bring my own "tostadas"🙋

  • 4/5 Magaly M. 3 years ago on Google
Food was delicious! The only complaint I have is they charge an additional fee if you substitute sides for what the entree comes with (rice, beans & plantains). For example, I wanted triple vegetables instead of rice, beans & plaintains so I was charged $3 additional.

On Sunday I went and the truth was that everything was wrong. The children's chicken tenders are now pop corn chicken, my husband ordered some pork dumplings with rice and the rice was cold, and I asked for some meat fajitas and the meat of very poor quality. It is true that restaurants have come back with tremendous difficulty but consumers also make an effort to pay, it is not worth paying for a food of such poor quality.
