Everything was so nice - location (very nice not so turistic area with local restaurant all over :)) - rooms and of course the staff were always there for you, they are the nicest, we really appreciate the great service! Plantation Surf Inn in Midigama, South Sri Lanka, is a hidden gem run by the incredible host, Chathu, and his welcoming family. The food, prepared by his chef father, surpassed expectations with exceptional dishes. As a fitness fanatic and sometimes fussy eater, the staff effortlessly customized meals to meet my needs. The location is a surfer's paradise, just a stone's throw from my favorite break, Plantations and coconut. With a variety of delicious restaurants and cafes within a two-minute walk, the place is simply awesome. Chathu's dedication was evident when he installed a brand new split system air conditioner in my room upon request before my arrival – a testament to their commitment to guest comfort. These guys truly go above and beyond. Five stars from me; I highly recommend Plantation Surf Inn to anyone seeking a surf stay in the south of Sri Lanka.

From the moment you arrive, you can tell that Plantation Inn is a special place. The guesthouse is perfectly situated close to the market, beach, and other attractions. What can I say. This place is incredible in every way possible. Beautiful rooms and gardens, epic views from the top floor and a fantastic restaurant to eat in! More importantly, chathu, baba and their family are amazing people, so welcoming! Which made my stay ever more wonderful. Sri Lanka got me but so did plantation surf inn. There's a cool vibe with a mixture guests with family meals all together cooked at the hotel. we went as a couple surfing and the location is perfect being opposite from Plantations surf break 3 mins walking and many others nearby. Good cafes, bars and restaurants all walking distance. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at Plantation Surf Inn so much! Stayed there for 5 nights and it was all perfect! The rooms are spacious, the food is amazing (make sure you order fresh fish for dinner!), and the whole team is super friendly and helpful! We felt really looked after so highly recommend this place to everyone
