The best restaurant found in Galle Matara! Delicious food. We came across this restaurant unexpectedly when we were going from Colombo to Matara. The burgers are great! A must-try for everyone! Beautiful location with the sea. I tell you to visit that restaurant one day. Really friendly welcome and lots of delicious food!

Gigi's is THE BEST place to go in Midigama! Has front row seats for Ram's Right with heaps of seating options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Amazing local Sri Lankan and western food which is really well priced (including a cheaper all day options for smaller meals) and they do an incredible curry buffet on Sunday/Monday's. Chicken biryani, bread and dahl, roti and dahl and pancakes were staples for us. Run by the kindest family around and they will become your best mates by the end of your visit! Couldn't recommend eating here more highly!

This is a beautiful place right on the beach, just a few steps from it. There is an extremely friendly and helpful staff who run the business. As for the food, it is a combination of Sri Lankan and other parts of the world food. The menu offers a variety of items, such as tacos, pasta, avo toast, and more, if you are looking for traditional Sri Lankan food. The restaurant offers a delicious curry buffet on Tuesdays for 1000 KL (less than 4 euros) and it's a great deal! As for breakfast, they offer a wide range of sweet and savoury options to suit every taste.

I literally ate breakfast and dinner everyday here for 2 weeks in end of October and I JUST LOVE IT! The family is so kind, good company, the food is delicious (the local as much as the western style dishes) and the place is just beautiful right in front of Rams Surfspot so you can watch the waves while eating. 100% recommend.

Amazing view and nice food! We really enjoyed being at GGs - we became kind of regulars. Owners are super friendly and kind. We tried the grilled fish with rice and salad, had the island bowl, some noodles and rice and the burritos. Definitely recommend the fish and the burrito. It is fresh and good quality. Also the Dahl is very good. Sometimes they need some time for preparation but all in all such an amazing place to stay, enjoy the food and the view right on rams and supporting a local family.
