We visited twice from out of town and definitely found a new favourite. Pros: - Super friendly and kind. - Tons of staff so wait times were short. - Great local support; they sell local goods and use local fruit/ingredients. - The blueberry scone is one of the best I've ever had. - Incredibly fair prices for coffee and baked goodies. - Gave us a cup of water for our pup water because it was so hot out (a simple gesture but it goes such a long way). Cons: - Inconsistent coffee. Yesterday our cappuccino was super hot and milk heavy (but still good), and today was a little burnt tasting but had great foam. Still good coffee but I had hoped for a more consistent cappuccino. As you can tell the pros far outweighed the "con" and we even got beans to take home. Here's hoping we'll be back soon!

Good coffee but bothered me about my dog. I understood that I couldn’t bring him in but he is my ESA (emotional support animal) signed off by multiple doctors and has a visible tag on him. They told me that he was not an ESA (when he is) and suggested that I was lying because he “didn’t have a vest on”. Many ESA dogs don’t wear vests because they are not service dogs, it is a choice too. I told them I was already leaving which they must’ve known but did not feel welcomed by the staff. Felt a lot of passive aggressiveness about my sweet dog who was not disturbing anyone that I know of. He was quiet and I was holding him the whole time. He was sad after this.

Visited last week for the first time. This place is located in the “heart of downtown” on the waterfront. They have very tasty coffee and delicious home-made creative baked goods of all sorts. The prices are slightly more expensive than Tim Hortons, but not quite as steep as Starbucks is, on average. The staff and friendly and personable. If you’re looking for something fun to do on a Sunday, grab a coffee from here and walk along the water. What a fantastic place. Will definitely be back !

This is an excellent local coffee shop that roasts its own beans and bakes its own treats. They also sell some local offerings like honey, maple syrup, and a few vegetables. They also have a water fill station, which is great. You can fill your water bottle before heading out Lots of seating options for individual, couples and groups. Staff is friendly and service is prompt. Prices are fair and affordable. Queer friendly space

Pretty happy with the coffee and sweets. It has a clear washroom and few tables. Highly recommended the nitro cold coffee.

Very cute place with an amazing staff. I had a blueberry fog which is probably the best warm beverage I've ever had . The baked treats are so delicious too . Prices I would compare to less than Starbucks but let's be honest the quality doesn't even compare. This will be a stop for me whenever I'm in the area .

Ah, Grounded. Another Midland staple that has been doing it right for forever. It's one of the best places to get coffee in the area. They serve quality beverages and even more than that they have the best scones I have ever eaten.

Came here during the Tall Ships festival. Wonderful experience and delicious fresh made coffee here. The staff was really nice and we were not rushed to leave when we took a seat. I ordered a large Americano and carrot cake—which was very delicious and prepared on site. I look forward to coming back here again.

So glad we caught this gem. Good coffee and good dessert (we got a maple and salty nuts bar “it’s not too sweet” type of compliment). Definitely will come back when we visit Georgian bay.

My husband and I were delighted to share a cup of coffee and tea at Grounded. The atmosphere is open and airy, a little bit industrial style. There were a lot of varieties of drinks to choose from. The baked goods are out of this world! So good! The young lady that served us was very pleasant and enjoyed my husband's banter. The only downside is that there are not enough tables to sit at sometimes, that's how popular it is.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet! Been coming here for years and this is the only place I buy my beans from. They roast on site, they brew a great cup, and the team is all super helpful and knowledgeable. Scott has always been happy to nerd out about beans if it’s not too busy and he’s clearly super passionate about coffee. They also have great baked goods (vegan and GF options) and local goods (shout out to Williams maple syrup!) Thank you Grounded 🙏

I am beyond lucky that this is my local coffee shop! They roast their beans in-house (which is so cool), have delicious seasonal drinks, and have the best baking around. Not only that, but the staff are so kind and always go above and beyond to make my child's visits there special. I've been there with the family and as a solo customer looking to get some work done and I've always felt very welcome. A visit is highly recommended-and try a baked treat!
