We arrived on a busy evening hoping to find a place to sit. We were advised that they were full re. Reservations, but that they'd try to accommodate us. To our surprise, we were promptly seated for our dining experience. The server and manager were very polite; super attentive and very open with suggestions, albeit not too pushy as not to kill the mood. We started with a simple brushetta, which was delectable. The bread was thick and the tomatoes juicy. Main course consisted of a hearty shrimp Limonada and a chicken carbonara, heavier on the mushrooms. The freshness, taste profile between the two dishes and portion size were all excellent. Dessert was a strawberry shortcake- simple with a few actual strawberries on the side and some chocolate drizzle. Texture was great. All In all the experience was 10/10; and the price on par with chain restaurants leaving us completely satisfied. We tipped generously, that being said we will be back to reaffirm this notion.

My husband ordered the steak for 57$, and it was 40% fat! I ordered the brisket and it was 45% fat! For the price it is not worth it at all!! Never going back that is for sure! 150$ for both of us to eat and have 1 glass of wine for my self. We also got a bruschetta for an app, and it was so boring and had no glaze on it or anything, it was just tomatoes on toast. East side Mario’s is way cheaper and way better! Save your money and go to Barrie if you want Italian. It’s worth the drive! Also there was a man with a walker who couldn’t get in the front door , no one came to help him so my husband had to go and help him! The service was very bad! Do not recommend at all!

First of all, they need to update their address. This place was referred to us from a family member. We had never been there before so we didn't know exactly where it was, so we Google it and ended up going to the wrong location because they moved and haven't updated Google maps yet. A little frustrating. However, once we sat down and ate something, that frustration was soon forgotten. This has to be the best place in Midland. We were greeted and seated almost right away. Our waiter also a sommelier recommended the perfect wine that was paired with our meal. My wife ordered the Oxtail stew and I had the beef brisket. They paired the stew with a pasta noodle, it was a bit heavy, might be better with a jasmine or basmati rice. However, it was still really good. My brisket was plate licking delicious. You could cut the brisket with a fork, it was so tender, succulent. The mashed potatoes were also next level. I ate every little morsel with no regret. I love this place and is now our go to for midland area. I am sure it will be yours as well, just go there once and you'll see for yourself.

Highly recommend Lilly's Excellent service, food is outstanding Try the mushroom brushetta, it is incredible!! Have been here several times & will continue to come again!

I would've given 5 stars except there were several dishes on the menu which were unavailable including the gnocchi, brisket, and another item I can't recall at the moment. They also didn't mention they were out of garlic mashed until the plate was brought to the table and we had to ask about them bringing roasted potatoes instead of the mashed. We stayed for dessert which was delicious but had to walk to a nearby Tim Hortons to retrieve coffee as they only use an espresso machine and it was not working during our visit so there was no option for coffee at all. Otherwise the food was fantastic, the restaurant is lovely and the staff did a good job.

Went there with 4 to celebrate our daughters 28th birthday. Not the place to go if you are in a hurry which we weren’t. Food was fabulous. Pleasant service from the owner! We have never been disappointed here. Glad we have this level of restaurant in little ole Midland.

For what we spent ($190 for 2), it was disappointing. I ordered the escargot only to be told they were out. I ordered the brisket, only to be told they were out. I ordered an espresso after the meal, only to be told their machine was broken. At least have the menu reflect what is in the storeroom. The steak was redeeming though and well cooked, as was the filo wrapped brie. Potatoes were over salted, and the gnocchi was bland. With the good food that didn't get eaten, we were given the job of packing up for take away. For the cost, it was a largely underwhelming experience, which was too bad because there aren't many, if any, fine dining establishments in Midland.

Truly a 5 star Italian restaurant. Great service, better food and lovely place inside, big and airy. Parking all around, on the road as well as lots all around. Nice decor and a big bar area. One of the best eateries in Midland.
