Jenny is one of those rare humans who TRULY knows, hears and cares, and so does her team of likeminded gems. She created a series of color formulas, just for me, which she tracks for long-term care. I feel so on the same page with Jenny that I sometimes wonder if she can read my mind :) 2: impeccable service, great communication, super-efficient booking and all-round stellar in-salon experience (gotta get work done? no problem. wanna chill out or need care advice? look no further). 3: a gorgeous, bright and welcoming salon, in a wonderful location (fun fact, you can check out your hair from every angle because of how thoughtfully the mirrors are set up). Jenny is awesome! My hair was always my best feature, before I moved to Holland. I have tried so many stylists in Amsterdam I’ve lost count. I’ve lost count of how many ruinous color jobs and disastrous haircuts I’ve had since i move here. Dutch law doesn’t require kappers to have any formal training, so… there’s a clue. Eventually, I gave up hope. I stopped getting my hair done. I put it in a ponytail and made peace with the seeming reality that if I wanted to live in Holland I had to give up have beautiful hair. Then, quite by accident, I found Jenny. She’s highly trained and very experienced. She’s a master of color and cut and style. The trifecta! Now, thanks to her, my hair looks great again. I love how it looks, and how easy it is to maintain. I get compliments from strangers. I feel myself again. Thank you Jenny! You are the best!

I regularly visit The Chair salon and always have a great experience with Jenny, the owner. She is an awesome stylist and I've been a regular customer of hers since 18 months. Had a cut and color with Jenny. Could not say enough nice things about the experience. The salon itself is inviting and glamorous, but not in a pretentious way. My cut was perfect, Jenny knew exactly how to shape and style to bring out the best in my face. The color was just as great as the cut. Easy location to get to. I will be going back!

Fantastic experience all round! Jenny has been my hairstylist for a while now, so I was happy to follow her to The Chair. There is a great atmosphere in the salon, everyone is very friendly & welcoming & the stylists provide very personalized hair care. Always leave with a smile on my face!
