The food was very nice: we had the Street food platter- a very good option to try a bit of everything for starters: (empanadas, alitas, tequeños). As main dish we had a very good Bife Chorizo- and it is also a good option to share. Very nice atmosphere and plenty of space in the restaurant. Important to make reservation. The service was a bit slow, but the overall experience was great. Highly recommended. :)

Fantastic restaurant with great food and a wide sedition of really delicious drinks. Great service, the food is very flavorful and when the ducks are served the bartender explains everything in them (and they are quite interesting). Lovely atmosphere, too.

We stumbled across this place our first night in Amsterdam. Really good Latin food steak was delicious as was their version of barbecue.

I have ordered entrecôte by ubereats for second time. First time the meat and side dishes were perfect, nice temperature, well packed, very juicy(meat), good quality and super delicious. Because of that really nice experience I ordered again, but it was TERRIBLE terrible dry (I chose medium rare). I was very very disappointed today, did not worth the money I have spent at all. It was an unpleasant dinner unfortunately.

Easily one of the best dinners I’ve had in Amsterdam. From delicious mezcal cocktails to perfectly grilled pulpo and slow cooked pork, this dinner really electrified my taste buds to a whole new level. Highly recommend and would definitely come back! We didn’t have enough room for the steak, but definitely will come back to try the rest of the dishes.

I do not know how to rate this experience. Food was divine, but you couldn't hear your own thoughts, the noise level was so very disturbing and left us all with a headache. It takes away so much of the experience. The service was super but the behaviour of the guests was just rude and non concerning of others. Such a pity.

Most amazing dry aged meat Ive ever tasted! This restaurant is in my top 3 in Amsterdam. Amazing service. Apparently I was waiting a bit longer on my main course and they offered me a free Mezcal drink. Amazing!

The food was really good, we went to have the meat and were not disappointed! It doesn’t get 5* because the vegetables were very disappointing, so maybe if you go, save some money or get something else, the rice was really nice, albeit lacked salt. Service was also good, but confusing at times with the things “not on the menu”. My only comment on the atmosphere is that the place is really noisy, really loud, so if you’re going for a more cozy/intimate experience this is not the place.

Wide range of options of starters and main courses in the menu. All was great, and ambience was really good. I am definitely going back. Service people are really great, but they add something in the invoice we didn’t eat. When we told them, they quickly fixed it, no question asked, these things can happen when they are busy so no worries at all. Thanks!

Meat was good. Wine was good but very expensive than usual per glass. Staff was welcoming but the service was super slow. Overall was an OK experience but I wouldn’t say it’s the best place to go one more time necessarily..

Best Argentinian style meat I’ve tried in Amsterdam so far!! We ordered a starter’s table to share, dry aged Rib Eye, and Tenderloin. As dessert we ordered chocotorta and flan con dulce de leche. The dry aged rib eye was exquisite, delicious!! I totally recommend that dish. As for the chocotorta it was ok, not the typical Argentinian chocotorta version. The flan con dulce de leche was really good!! The place is really nice and all the people are really friendly and efficient.

Quality food in a nicely decorated restaurant. We took a number of starters and a side to share between us two and got filled up real well with 5. Easy to see why my girlfriend had been wanting to go for months. Can easily recommend a visit

A very authentic Argentinian experience. We started with the most amazing empanadas followed by an absolutely delicious and juicy steak. To finish we had their wonderful dulce de leche dessert. Don‘t have enough words to describe what a great meal it was. Great service too!

We were a group of four. We had starters, sea food and meat, and dessert. Everything was top notch. A good place for a romantic dinner or for a group as well. Remember to make a reservation.

It is a great location with a lovely environment. The big grill is waiting you at the entrance. There is also a second floor where we sat. The staff is very hospitable and good at explaining all the menu. Empanadas were si delicious as starters. Sangria and octopus were ok. Ribeye and tenderloin were perfect with delicious sides baked potatoes, grilled peppers.

Pretty solid South American steakhouse. Service is good, staff is friendly and helpful, and food is good. Strong cocktail game as well. Recommend.

Great place with great atmosphere and service. My non alcoholic drink was Creamy and just delicious. The rib eye steak we had was a little well done than requested but was of great quality. A little bit on the expensive side but totally worth it.

The food is nice but the rest is not great. The place is so noisy that it is impossible to talk, the toilets are not the cleanest, the service is just ok. With a nice concept it is, much better can be done.

If you are a meatlover, this is the place to be! They have a variety of cuts available and well explained by our waitress Elisabeth. Our ribeye and tenderloin were very well prepared and delicious! Prices are reasonable by Amsterdam standards The service is good and staff very friendly. We will definitely come back and will then safe some room to try the desserts.

Loved eating here. They had great Sangria and superb food! Only thing maybe some other beer choices would be nice for the guys. But other that than that I would deffinitly reccomend!

Myself and my partner have been coming to Salmuera for 2 1/2 years now, it is our FAVORITE restaurant in all of Amsterdam. The bartender Rafael (sorry if I’ve misspelled your name) and the waitress Vanessa make us feel at home and extremely welcome every time we visit. They’re part of the reason we keep coming back ♥️ The food is amazing- the entire menu. The cocktails change seasonally and are unlike any I’ve ever had before- they’re unique and created artfully by the bartenders. They have a HUGE selection of mezcal and always help us with a tasting of mezcals we can’t get anywhere else. If you’re in Amsterdam, make sure to make a reservation- you won’t want to miss out!

The place, the concept, the story of the Salmuera is all great. I am vegetarian and have been there with friends, I could find DELICIOUS vegetarian dishes, I had a great evening! Cocktails are amazing too, don't miss the Margaritas

What a fantastic evening! The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere and the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine and the food was just to die for! Everything was amazing!

First time eating in a restaurant again after a long time in lockdown. I am so happy that we chose Salmuera to eat at because it was nothing but amazing!! After i got home i got so exciting to tell all my friends about this place. We had such a great time sitting here and enjoy the amazing food. We had the chicken empanada, ceviche, rib eye & “kraken”. Everything was perfect, the combination of tastes and flavors just perfect for us. The staff was so friendly, funny, sweet and professional they made the experience of eating here so complete. The atmosphere in this restaurant was so good very casual and just “gezellig”. You can definitely eat here with a group of people and have a great time. Dont forget they also serve great cocktails with a hidden story. So please try them out. If i didnt convince you to eat there than i dont know what else to say than…: please go eat there!!!!!

What an amazing place!! I'd recommend the rib eye, but the lechón is super good too. In general the food is fantastic and the decoration makes the place very special. Not an every day place but great to celebrate something.

The dinner experience at Salmuera was amazing! I ordered 300g of rib eye and it was delicious! We ordered a side of rice and potatoes for sides to share and those were also tasty. Everything is definitely on the pricier side so expect to pay for your meal. We also ordered cocktails and they were all amazing and so delicious. Overall this is a spot with great vibes and amazing food. It is three dollar signs so expect to pay more for everything, but if you’re willing to dish out a little more for your meal I’d say it’s well worth it.

This was my first time visiting a restaurant that specializes in Mexican food and it did not disappoint. the food was absolutely brilliant, spicy, but not to the point where you only see red. We had Lechon which was roasted to perfection, duck & mole that was to die for and two other smaller starters which were also quite brilliant. all in all a very very tasty meal at a very reasonable price.

The food was very nice and amazing, service was very good. There was a mistake on my table and the forgot the one steak, but the waiter came to the table and apologised and took full responsibility! Not many do this, for this reason i cannot complaint and I loved the service!

Grilled corn, sweet corn with salty cheese, completely hit my heart 👍🏻2⃣️ Grilled octopus feet, served with yellow mustard sauce, this is nothing to say haha, myself This is the salad I ate at this western restaurant 3⃣️, which is my own and clear mouth. I am a salad lover🫣5⃣️ Roast pork, the menu says to roast for 8 hours, but there is almost no oil, the skin is very crisp, the meat is slightly Dry.

Phenomenal food! I’ve been here over ten times and can’t stop!! They know exactly what they’re doing and they do it so well. Klaidas has been one of the most welcoming, informative, funny and seriously cool servers I’ve ever had the pleasure of having! Always a 10000/10 (bonus points for playing the black keys)

Reading the reviews here you already go in with high expectations. I can easily say they were all surpassed for me. Top quality service and food! A bit loud because of the acoustics of the place and you might need to speak a bit louder for conversation but nobody will be talking much once the food arrives. Will come again!

We were recommended this place by a local who took us on a food tour earlier in the day. The service, ambiance and food were all phenomenal. Highly recommend checking it out, it’s busy though so either reserve or expect to wait. Very reasonably priced considering the quality and atmosphere.
