Superb little hotel. The rooms are super clean. The shower is amazing. The food is AMAZING all cooked fresh. Great selection of beers too. Will definitely be back.

I do not understand how a hotel can have a manager like Lydia Vlasman. That lady, with almost not education and without manners does not know how to treat tourists. And his employee, an old fat and potbellied, seems more like a farmer treating animals than dealing with tourists. What a loss of time getting to this dirty building to be received by people of bad appearance and misbehavior. Please do not visit this hotel, even if you get it for free, IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

The room started smelling like a sewer in the evening and the receptionist was rude. We couldn't even open the window. Also the wall insulation is very poorly made and you can hear everything the neighbouring people are doing. The region is great and there are alote of other options to stay at.

Really lovely hotel. The owner had no problem after we arrived in late hours. Breakfast had a great variety of food (personal I would like more vegetables). Rooms are clean and the bets OK :) This hotel is Highly Recommended :)

Upon arrival felt very welcome, beautiful views over the lake. Room is spacious and the price was very reasonable. Would definitely like to come back

I never leave hotel reviews because ussually I don't have anything to add to the existing ones. This one is the exception and I want to give this place the best rating. I was having breakfast at a place in a small town 20 minutes away from Schiphol Airport and asked for recommendations to stay the night. I went there because the fare seemed fair to me, without expecting very much because I was paying similar fares for below-average hotels. After checking in I was astonished. The estate is located in a nice street and has its own pier on a lovely lake. The facilites are from a five-star international complex but with the cozyness of a family-operated boutique hotel. Just to name something that didn't met my needs, I asked about the laundry service, they didn't had and I couldn't find any in the closest town (Uithoorn) so be adviced to carry the clothes you will need. The facilities, internet access, breakfast/restaurant and attention were always on par with the best hostels. Be advice that this is a 8-room hotel, you won't find amenities like swimming pool (haven't seen one in my whole week in the netherlands), gym, spa or business center.

Excellent water view, good large rooms, free parking, fine dinner. Steep stairs.

I wrote an essay based on all the things wrong with our stay at H.R.L. but politically correct google bots keep stopping it from going through. The location is great, the hotel is meh and the "hospitality" is diabolical. I do NOT recommend staying here if you care at all about a friendly host on your holiday.
