Very bad experience at this hotel. I checked in the hotel on 25-Jul-2023 and writing this review while staying at the hotel. The Air Condition system in the rooms simply don’t work. Even when I set the temperature to 18 degrees, it still feels like 26-27 degrees! Then I complained to the reception and they put a small fan in the room which made no difference. I complained again & no one has taken any action. I think this hotel management just don’t care for customer. They are only interested in charging high price for the room. I stayed in their Super Deluxe room and they charged me 22,000 Yen/Night for this room. And the Air Con does not work in such an expensive hotel. I do not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. Even the equipment in room bathroom TV and shower in bathroom is very old type.

Great views of Tokyo Tower from our room (Room view of Tokyo Tower 🗼 attached)! The hotel has excellent staff and there's a Lawson in the basement for convenience snacks. I highly recommend the buffet breakfast, as it had everything we wanted and provided great garden views if you get there early enough to snag a window seat. This hotel does not have AC, so something to keep in mind if visiting in the summer.

Dated rooms. Leaking coffeemaker. No room service. On-site restaurant was very average. Air conditioning poor; one room cold, another too warm. Air conditioning controls ineffective. Very good staff. The star if for the staff. No stars for the hotel. Overall a hotel long past it’s best.

The hotel lobby is huge and the rooms are quite spacious too. The decor is a bit dated, but it’s a safe choice with all the amenities provided. However, the convenience store located in the basement is not open 24hrs, so it’s not ideal if you wanted to buy something after 11pm. In general, the staff are quite friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel. Great service. Staff is helpful and managed with my bumbling Japanese. Quick check in, decent lounge. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. In all a great stay that I would welcome again when in Tokyo.

The views you get from the hotel is absolutely amazing as you can see the Tokyo tower right thru your window. HOWEVER the hotel itself is very old, the toilet in our room had a weird smell, and the facilities of the hotel look classy, but old… There’s also not much restaurants and no 24hrs convenient store near the hotel, there is a Lawson underground, but it closes at 10pm I think, and if you want to get night snacks or drinks you’ll have to walk a bit to the nearest convenient store. I would recommend this hotel if you can book a room with good price, otherwise if you’re more into modern vibes hotels, this might not be for you.

The location of the hotel is perfect, and the breathtaking views from our room added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit. The dining options exceeded our expectations. The culinary experience at the hotel's restaurant was truly delightful. Thank you so much.

Very nice location, room is well kept and decent, very clean (and very pretty!), and very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again! They also give 500yen gift voucher if you request for no room service/amenity top-up for a day if you stay longer than two nights. We stayed for our honeymoon and had a nice view of Tokyo tower, and received some biscuits made by the hotel which were amazing and make really nice gifts to bring back home! Very close to Onamiron station, and a lot of shops in the hotel building.

Very nice hotel with convenient location including access to public transportation. Cleanliness is lacking for floors. I am in room 858 beginning Apr11. 2017 to Apr. 14. I have noticed service lacking for in room service. Drinking glasses were not replaced daily. In yesterday case, the glasses were just covered with a coaster and left on the counter with old water in it. Ice buckets were not emptied out but left with melted ice water. The hot water heater was never refilled at all. When we requested it done, discovered it did not work so had to request another heater. I had noticed lots of loose particles on hallway floors looking like it had not been vacuumed or done with a bad cleaner. This morning I looked my room floor and noticed the floor just as dirty as hallway floors. I was expecting more from a newly renovated hotel. I have stayed at your Hawaii Prince Hotel and have all praises for it.

First time staying at the Prince Hotel. I booked a room 1 week prior. Parking on site which is a huge plus! Unfortunately I checked in around 11pm. The front desk gentleman was extremely rude and had no care. Not what I expected from a 4 Star Hotel I was here with my wife and our 4 Month old. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be staying here again.

Just OK. It's past its prime. The location is pretty good (though you still need a short taxi ride to most places). The lobby is quite nice, though most of the time was extremely crowded and loud. Check-out was a MESS (long lines...express checkout was unclear, so I just gave my stuff to one of the lobby attendants.) Rooms are dark and dated, but spacious vs. other Tokyo options. Overall, it's on par with the price (be sure to check travel websites). In a pinch, I'd stay here again, but one can do better than this.

For an upscale hotel I have to say that this is a really nice place. The dining was excellent though a bit pricey, the view from our room was of the Tokyo Tower and the staff was really friendly. We had reservations to check in on a Monday but arrived early so they let us store our luggage while we went out and explored the city. The rooms were nice and clean. We even got slippers and a dressing gown to sleep in. They had a tray of complimentary toiletries in case you forgot yours. They did not have coffee in the room, but rather tea. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a huge variety of items to choose from. It was conveniently located to a Subway entrance and nearby shops and restaurants. They had a little convenience store on the bottom floor along with other shops. The only reason for 4 stars is that the rooms were smaller than some of the other places we stayed and looked a little tired for the price that you pay, but the beds were comfortable and the room temperature easy to control. I would stay here again if given the opportunity.

I hate to give the hotel a low rating because the staff were so accommodating and nice... But the location and room were not that great. Location: The hotel is far from everything and not much around it is open at night. I had to transfer lines to get anywhere I wanted to go with the exception of Ginza. Rooms: The rooms were okay and were clean but the issue I had was with the sound. The windows block 0 sound. I'm not that light of a sleeper but you can constantly hear cars passing by. You also will hear many ambulances throughout the night since the hotel is next to a hospital. Because of the noise, I barely slept when I stayed at this hotel. Service: The service and staff were amazing. The 5th floor was noisy so I asked for a new room during my first night and they were very accommodating to where they moved me from the 5th floor to the top floor the next day which helped a lot with the noise. However, you can still hear everything it's just a little quieter. The staff were very kind and I appreciate their hospitality.

I loved this hotel. The views from my window of Tokyo Tower were amazing to see everyday! Service was lovely. The rooms very spacious. The breakfast buffet was delicious with so many different options. There is a Lawsons in the hotel as well. I would definitely come back for another stay

The staff was very friendly and were always accommodating! However it is worth noting that the hotel was more targeted toward a Japanese demographic of those touring Tokyo so sometimes the language barrier was a little tough if front desk staff didn’t have someone that spoke fluent English working. The buffet breakfast was also very fancy (and almost a little intimidating at times) but don’t be afraid to ask for help if you don’t understand something! Overall nice experience but might consider trying another hotel next time.

The location is in a deserted area. In total, it is close to all the important districts around, so the access to each of them is fast since it is in the center between them. The level of the hotel does not justify 4 stars. We encountered quite a few problems in the room and the most problematic is the thefts in the rooms. Our friends had bags stolen with products bought in the city, brand new. We encountered a girl whose bag with a laptop was stolen. Some of the things were found and some were compensated with money, but the heartache remained

Conveniently located, great service. More power outlets near the desk would have been nicer. I often use this hotel.

When you pay for quality, you expect quality… The pictures speak for themselves, additionally the outside of the building needs help. The view is the only key feature here. The shower turns the entire room humid or you close the door and the humidity stays in the shower keeping everything wet for a lot time as if the fan doesn’t work. Tokyo tower is right next door, but they lock all the gates so you have to walk the long way around when visiting there. The a/c does work, they have a mini fridge, and there is a safe in the room. Over all disappointed, I don’t see why this is a 4 star hotel.

My wife and I stayed here a little while back and we really enjoyed it. This hotel has all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a high end hotel but is priced rather well for Tokyo. The view from our room was spectacular and walking to the metro, or just about anywhere else, was very easy. Staff was VERY friendly and they went out of their way to take care of you. The hotel is a nice short walk from many restaurants (hole in the wall types) and a visit to Tokyo Tower from here is a must.

Brilliant location to pivot from when exploring Tokyo via train or on foot. I would advise checking the details of your reservation [When booking online] before arriving.

Hotel was nice, a little dated, it had a Lawson and some other shops and restaurants throughout. However, the restaurants were all very expensive. Great location to visit Tokyo tower. Other than the tower, there is not much nearby, mostly a business district.

A classic and old hotel but beautifully decorated and lobby is very spacious with comfortable cushion seats. There is a park outside the hotel and distance away two 24hr convenient stores i.e. 7-eleven and myfamily mart. Good spread for b'fast, an enjoyable combination of western styled and simple traditional Japanese food. Excellent varieties of tea and coffee types.

The hotel offers a nice ambiance with a great view of the Tokyo Tower and the nearby temple. Although the room is quite old, it is still in very good condition. Overall, it was a great experience.

Beautiful hotel was shocked to find this isnt 5 star rated. Staff are so nice and friendly i never once felt rushed when speaking to them and the rooms feel very high end for what they are. If you are coming to tokyo for the first time and you are looking for an easy hub close to shops and stations look no further.

I've never stayed at the Tokyo Prince Hotel but often have coffee or lunch in it's lobby cafe. Built for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, the lobby with it's low ceilings and we'll appointed decor speak to a different era. Having said that, the hotel is timeless. It is right beside the Zojoji temple, favored by the first Tokugawa Shogun, the victor at Sekigahara, Ieyasu, and close to Tokyo Tower - a 5 minute walk. Even if you don't stay, take a break in the cafe and experience some Japanese nostalgia.

Amazing hotel in Tokyo, a lot of restaurant options to choose from, really beautiful terrace, especially for dinner and drinks in the evening, great and diverse breakfast spread and the rooms are clean and cleaned regularly. There is a convenience store and other facilities on site including taxis which is a plus, very easy to walk to attractions and amenities around Service is really good, rooms clean and spacious and in door facilities very adequate. The view of the tower and the city from the room was to die for. I would definitely stay here again and again!!!

Good not great location. Spacious rooms for Tokyo. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Cocktail hour is overrated (its just canned drinks with finger foods). Good service from the staff. There is a free shuttle from Hamamatsucho which is excellent.

Convenient place to stay in Tokyo. Hop on Hop off bus directly comes to the hotel entrance. It is very easy for travellers to explore the city and go to many places around the city of tokyo. Tokyo tower is right behind the hotel and it adds great value to the views of the hotel. Hotel is a bit old one though, but the staff is super helping and kind hearted
