Love the Minnetonka location & the people, everyone is very friendly , understanding, and knowledgeable, always happy to answer questions and be available. The location is clean and beautiful and accommodating. Milan in general is great: they follow medical procedures, they put your safety first and do everything they can to reduce chance of burns or skin irritations (but a lot of it depends on you too and listening to their instructions for skin care!) Laser hair removal in general & cost: Milan's process is very effective, but laser hair removal does require multiple treatments due to hair growth cycles, and a hairs can still develop throughout your life after treatment for various reasons (hormones, medication, etc.) so Milan sets a price that includes multiple treatments and potential follow up treatments for the rest of your life, so whatever area(s) you purchased for hair removal, it's guaranteed for life throughout all changes without additional costs later. So it's expensive up front, but no costs if you ever need touch ups. They also work with a loan company that has 0% interest rate for 2-3 years as an alternative option too. They also have free consultation to meet with someone to learn more about all of this and ask questions and give quotes for total cost. Pain level: everyone is going to be different by my experience is that if you have ever done waxing or experienced razor burns/ingrown hairs, you can handle this. It's easier than any of those items and much faster than all of them. The process is very quick and Milan's equipment includes a cooling agent for each "zap" as another safety precaution to make sure your skin cools quickly and is safer. Most of the "zaps" feel like nothing at all except little puffs of air from the cooling agent. Only a few of them feel like a quick zap. I've heard it described as a rubber band snap but I think it's way less than that, much smaller area, much less intense.

The Minnetonka Milan team here is the best. Kim makes the laser hair experience so comfortable. Some areas hurt, but she talks you through it and makes sure you’re okay. I also appreciate how diligent they are about sun exposure and not taking any risks! I love that you’re covered for life - most places only give you a certain # of sessions and you’d get stuck paying for more if it’s not enough! And the financing options are so seamless. If you’re looking for a sign… DO IT!

Going to milan in this location has been an amazing experience. As soon as I stepped a foot inside, I was treated with respect. I was welcomed and the atmosphere was very calming and relaxed. During the laser procedure, I was a bit nervous being it my first time but the nurse quickly reassured me and me feel so comfortable. You won’t regret going here!
