DO NOT EAT HERE EVER!!!!!! It took forever to get service after being seated and when we did the waitress was more interested in talking with other co-workers. THEN, we ordered food and wings and this is how it came out! FROM THE KITCHEN PEOPLE!! We refused to pay for the food. UNACCEPTABLE! And to top it all off, the manager didn’t even have the courtesy to come over and apologize or anything! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT. Do not waste your time or $$$$$ at this place!

If I could ZERO stars I would. Don’t go here, waited for a seat for 12 minutes, 14 minute wait at the table and no one showed up. We walked out. This place should go out of business and let another franchise start here. Oh, it was lunch time and no one was here but there where lots of wait staff standing around talking. Skip this place

All things that could go wrong on this visit, did. Service was very slow on a non-busy night. There was even a little bug in my drink and waited about 30 minutes to bring it to the attention to the staff once the waitress came around. I stuck around for the food and ordered the mac and cheese skillet with blackened chicken. Mac and cheese has zero flavor, nothing. Extremely disappointing. I ate the chicken, which was good and flavorful but that was it. The person I was with ordered a side of french fries, and they tasted not only refried, but old. I do not recommend this place outside of their nice view (manmade lake) and music choices. It’s a massive place but overall an entire miss on how good it could be versus how it is.

Worst restaurant in West Miramar. Hands down. I've been here twice before and although the food was subpar at best (undercooked salmon and wings) the view of the water and ample tvs made it ok to catch a game and have a few drinks. This evening I took the kids out to grab some food since we were tired of Christmas food. We originally went for Texas Roadhouse but the wait was 30 minutes so since Bokampers is in the same plaza we gave it a go. We walked in and no one greeted us. We literally had to walk all the way to the back of the restaurant before a waitress intercepted us as we approached the patio area. We were then told that even though the restaurant closed at 10 pm we could not be seated because they were no longer serving food at 7:45 pm. I thought it strange that a restaurant stopped serving food 2 hours and 15 minutes before closing but took it as a sign and made a u-turn towards the exit. Although we were spared the subpar food I was again left with a sour taste in my mouth from Bokampers. Long story short we have a few more minutes before being seated at Texas Roadhouse so I decided to share with you guys. If you're driving by Bokampers looking for a good place to eat... Keep driving! I doubt they will be open much longer with their poor level of service.

I always enjoyed the location and view over the lake at Bokampers Miramar so decided to try it with my wife for our once a week happy hour but struck out big time. We were welcomed by an open dumpster and debris filled BBQ pit as we drove into the parking lot, Strike one! Sat near the lake and ordered a glass of Chardonnay and a split a Cobb salad which I enjoyed but my wife was not impressed. Our waitress was new and tried her best but was obviously not well trained. We observed the areas around the bar which could definitely use some cleaning as well as groups of excess wait staff standing around smiling and chatting clueless to any of the obvious concerns that were apparant, Strike two! We ordered a glass of Pinot Noir which took longer than usual since they finished an old bottle and they needed to open a new bottle. They brought us the wine (old and new mixed) and apologized for the wait. The wine tasted sour and my wife had lipstick on her glass, strike three! We asked for our check paid the bill and left the two full glasses of Pinot. I give the place 3-6 months unless someone does something fast!!! Shame but someone who knows how to run a business will come in and take advantage of this great location. I will try it again when they do.

I was super excited to come for the first time. We arrived approximately 8:05 pm. By 8:40 we still did not have any drinks in the table and of course no order taken. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt but the store wasn't at full capacity. Probably at 75%. This is why I am going back to Ale House. Sincerely, your first and last visitor.

They have a great outside area with a lake view, but that is pretty much the only positive thing about this place. We have been there about five times, and the service was ALWAYS terrible. Example: the last time i was waiting for my beer like 20 (!) minutes. The beer was just standing ready at the bar, but nobody cared to bring it to our table. After 20 minutes the waiter finally noticed and brought the stale and warm beer, as if nothing happened. (Of course, I returned it.) Also, the food is overpriced for what it is (fast food). It is a pity to see so much wasted potential, because the location is otherwise great.

Edited 08/21/21 - Finally came back to test out the BBQ! Was pretty excited but..Fail! Sat outside for 20 minutes till getting my first drink. Saw a dead rat on the floor and notified staff to make sure it got picked up. Service still terrible and food is mediocre but overpriced. They are a BBQ place that doesn't offer any type of platter? Brisket was very fatty, great beans had no flavor, not really happy still. To be continued... Edited 10/1/2020 - So i have been a fan of Bokampers for a while. I was going to this location for about 2 years regularly and over the past few months, there has been a huge decline in this place. I know there has been a pandemic however half the time they dont know the regulations. The service has had such a huge decline. There is a manager with long hair that treats patrons horrible and is just flat out rude on multiple occasions. Last night went for a few drinks and i dont even think they put alcohol in them anymore. I was charged for a Patron margarita but never asked if i wanted top shelf and then when drinking, literally no tequila. Switched to a jack and coke thinking it might be better (how can you mess that up) and yup, no jack in there just watered down coke. Finally just moved to a bottled beer. Was afraid they might be pumping water in the draft to water down the keg! lol. Food is ok but the menu change limited alot of choices and it is quite expensive. I have spent alot of money and they changed the VIP cards. Currently a Champion but never got the upgraded card. Overall just a poor experience at the restaurant now. Think it is going to be quite some time before i re-visit.... 8/1/2019 - Great place for drinks, outside bar is awesome. Franchesca is a great bartender, also Andrea. Good drinks. Very friendly staff. Worth stopping by.

ok, how to explain this? the site is very nice, the outside area is very nice with a lake view. It's the only thing the site has. the service was the worst. TERRIBLE. my wife and I arrived, they sat us at a table outside and the waitresses literally passed in front of us without serving us, we asked to be served and a girl told us that this was not the area she served, that our waitress would arrive soon, no I lie that it took 25 minutes to get served. we ordered some margaritas and they looked like water, cold food, i said the service was bad??? I'm really not a person who makes reviews, but what an unpleasant experience we lived there. We were hoping to have a good time and it was a complete failure.

Update: This location has basically turned into a bbq joint and it wasn't good. The only consistent thing is their wings. We had wings, brisket nachos, and the burger with egg (can't think of the name). The brisket was chopped into small cubes and was really dry and definitely not fresh. The burger patties they use are frozen. Why??? It doesn't take much to season beef and make a fresh burger! You're claiming to be a smokehouse now so a quality burger should be a priority! I'm not going to update rating but I am also a restaurant owner so I hope this feedback is taken into consideration. Original review Nice view and the food was good. I do think our waitress may've been new though. We sat outside because we thought the patio was nice and we had our 2 daughters (14 & 11). I asked about happy hour an our waitress said we could only order from that menu if we sat at the bar so I explained that we didn't want our kids at the bar.. she pretty much shrugged us off.. I would think that they wouldn't encourage kids at bar.. I then asked about drink specials and she told us all of their drafts were included only to later be told that there is only a select few. I gave them a 4, not for the service but for the food & view.

Adore the big pig at the entrance! Came on a Friday night during happy hour. It was a but too chill for a happy hour but it allowed for nice conversation. Their drinks were good but not great - I had Moscow mules served better but it wasn't horrible either. I had their wings, loved the lemon and pepper ones. Although I didn't used it, the outside siting area seemed nice, cozy and with a beautiful view. No worries about parking. There is plenty!

Pretty disappointed with the food quality, cleanliness and portion size. Plus why wouldn't a full service restaurant have tableware??? Only the miniature plastic sets. The food: My husband's salmon platter was literally a kids meal. ¼ cup of mashed potatoes and six SMALL pieces of broccoli, plus a thin, overcooked sliver of salmon ..... Sad. My salad was good, but the chicken scraps they added were a joke. Glad I'd ordered a sliver of salmon in advance. My son liked his burger and fries, but the onion rings were rock hard. We fed them to the fish . We returned all of our fountain sodas. They tasted terrible. Ginger ale and Pepsi were flat. And the iced tea tasted ..... I can't really describe it. Dirty?!??! FILTHY The tables in the bar were DISGUSTING. I cleaned it off myself. The rag that was used to slop whatever chemical was in the bottle was RANCID. I asked for - and received - a clean dry one and that's what I used. The floor was FILLED with black cloth napkins and silverware. I guess that's why they didn't have any for us to eat with. It was my idea to go there and I paid for the meal as it was my night to cook and I opted to go out ( and tipped very well ) but I won't make that mistake again. Super gross. 🤢

We are fortunate to have BOs just a few minutes drive away from home.The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Host/Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in; sitting outside, by the lake is always a plus.

Great place to eat, relax, watch a game and enjoy some really good food. Plenty of parking. Tons of tvs for any game. Great outdoor eating area. Delicious food and great service. Nice bar indoor and outdoor . Perfect for the entire family. Great place to eat with your team after a game.

This place has been closed for quite some time always wanted to check it out. Yesterday my wife was at work nearby and it was sunday night football I saw that the sports bar was open. I didn't even hesitate to go! Great sports bar tons of TVs every game was on and the place is huge. They have a outside patio I did not go but it looked nice from the inside I will be going back ! Definitely recommend.

The environment is perfect for outdoor dining, or if you want to just lounge and have some drinks. It is also a great place to host any parties, they tend to your needs and make sure you are satisfied. Its also family friendly, with an arcade game room. They are also pet friendly.

Bokampers in Miramar is absolutely gorgeous. It's right on the water and perfect for a TGIF spot. I ordered the salmon and broccoli but was not impressed. The grilled cheese, nachos and quesadillas that were ordered by my friends tasted pretty good though.

It was an amazing experience. I'm so impressed with the Bokamper's chain, especially with these 2 locations out west. The restaurant is huge, beautiful and has plenty of staff members to make sure everyone gets fast service. I adore the tuna nachos appetizers and their poke bowl. My server was very helpful and eager to serve me as best as possible. I also loved seeing the small fish on the water. Great view.
