Khari Sharif (كهڑي شريف) is an agricultural area between Mirpur and Jhelum of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. Broadly speaking, Alaqa-e-Khari (translation in English: Area of Khari) refers to the fertile plains of Khari which exist between the hills of Mirpur and the river Jhelum. Khari has some 80 small and large villages and one of the villages itself is known as Khari Sharif. It is located at a distance of 8 km from the city of Mirpur, Azad Kashmir and is known for housing the shrines of Sufi saints known as Pir Shah Ghazi Qalandar Damri Wali Sarkar and Mian Muhammad Bakhsh.[1][2] The shrine of Mian Muhammad Bakhsh.

Khari shareeef is such a soulful and peaceful place. It's so soothing to sit in the open area. People visit it from far away and they believe in the mystic qualities of main Muhammad baksh.

Khari Sharif (also spelled “Khari Shareef”) is an agriculture area. It is located eight kilometers from Mirpur in Azad Jammu & Kashmir. This area is famous for the housing of Sufi saints Mian Muhammad Bakhsh and Peer-e-Shah Ghazi (also known as Qalandar Damriyan Wali Sarkar). Basically, Alaqa-e-Khari points to the lush plateaus of Khari between uplands of Mirpur and River Jehlum. The place, act as an immense seat of wisdom for the students of Islam. Dervish (disciples) of the Saint can be seen in all over the Pakistan especially in Azad Kashmir. Khari consists of some eighty small and large villages and one those villages is known as Khari Sharif. Basically, Khari Sharif refers to the shrine of Mian Muhammad Bakhsh, a famous Sufi Saint. He is well known for writing the famous tale of Saiful Malook. The tail is about a prince “Shehzada Saiful Malook”. The prince fell in love with a fairy he saw in a dream. She was called “Badi-U-Jamal”. The story of Saiful Malook chronicles spiritual lessons learned by prince during his journey to find Badi-U-Jamal.

One word, WOW. MashaAllah had the best time when I visited with family, never been before and definitely was left in awe of this beautiful this darbar is. Plenty of stalls to buy gifts and do some shopping, the darbar itself is kept clean and suitable for families to visit for a day out.

I visited many times. It's a beautiful and clean place. But this last time I visited, I noticed and suspected foul play in the distributing of rice. I had taken 100+ bags of rice to be distributed to the people visiting. When I got there, the dua was said, and I was informed that they keep half of what I've brought. I only allowed them to keep 20bags and the rest I handed out myself. I request officials to look into what is happening at such a pious place. As I don't think the food is being given properly. Also, for the amount they charge the rice cooked, there isn't very edible.

A site of many blessings and great serenity despite the crowds. It's very busy on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Had the pleasure of attending khari sharif darbar on a Friday. Made dua at the graves of the pious ones. Read jummah inside the lovely mosque. The atmosphere was amazing. Had the pleasure of meeting the Imam sahib. A blessed place where your duas are accepted.

The roads must be in good condition for these type of places, and secondly the governement should take serieous notice of this darabar beacuse many people there are spreading shirk and misguiding people from Islam
