The store itself if great, however they now have a grooming service that is worse than anything I have ever experienced! The groomer did a hack job on my dogs… at first she barely took any hair off, they didn’t look groomed or even smelled like they were washed. It took her only 1 hour to groom both dogs!!! Not possible. Then she charged my 11 and 13 pound dogs as medium sized dogs (not what I was quoted). I paid and then complained. The manager was awesome and called the owner. The groomer called me and offered to fix the dogs the next day. She did work on them however they still look horrible. Please consider this when making your appointment!! UPDATE! The store owner called and she has resolved the issues. I really appreciated her following up with me. And again, the store itself is awesome!!!

This man Mike would not give my dog a treat while he took over ten minutes to not do my return on a jacket I bought my dog and I had a receipt. He said thier has been alot of theft but I had a receipt. He treated me like a thief and I work two jobs and did not steal my puppies jacket. Worst service I've had anywhere in my life.This location is so unprofessional "Mike" probably lied about his name. I went to the Pet value in Clarkson right afterwards and they gave my puppy a treat and did the return with no problem.

The people working here are so lovely and kind and knowledgeable. It was such a nice experience. Would definitely come back to this location

Refund refused - Ask before purchasing Purchased a halter from the heartland location . I was told that I could take it home try it out and if it didn’t fit or work for him I could return it. I came to Glen Erin this location to return bc it’s the closest to me - the halti was lose. I was happy to have found a new place I could purchase things for my dog. I brought the item in its package with a receipt only days after the purchase. Note the return policy is 30 days. The lady at the checkout said to me that bc it’s a halter lead it can’t be refunded . Note the item hasn’t been used. She brought it to the back and asked her manager on the phone. Came back and said no to the refund. Note it’s the same owner for both locations. I was terribly disappointed that they wouldn’t refund / and made me go all the way to the heartland to complete it. Which I did without no hassle or questions asked. I’ve worked in retail long time ago - this could have been handled better.

Helpful staff. Was able to find the medicated Hemp dog treats I was looking for. A larger selection of CBD would be nice to see though.

I went to use their self-serve dog wash. The service was very helpful when I explained it was my first time in-store, they provided everything I needed at a fantasic price. I will be definitely be going back for my pups next wash.

I have used this store for my pet purchases for the last 5 or 6 years. I actually drive out of my way to come to this specific store. The staff have always been friendly, knowledgeable & efficient. Raj, the owner, goes out of his way to assist his customers. I thoroughly recommend this Pet Valu location

The owner showed up 15 min late, then asked me 2 wait outside for 2 seconds, which turned out to be an additional 10 min. So unprofessional.

Quiet and smaller location. Carry a lot of vet approved cat food brands which is nice. I was looking for pine litter and called ahead to ensure I can get the item put aside for me. Very friendly staff! I bought the litter but it was not a win with his royal painness, my kitten. Check it out as an alternative to more popular pet stores!

This location is fantastic! The team went above and beyond in providing assistance to me and my pet. The service is top notch, everyone is friendly and they went out of their way to order specified food for my pet and are keeping it in stock or having it ready for order. I know my little guy is happy and I will continue to give this Pet Valu my business. If you're looking for a pet food store that cares not only about the pets, but the customers too, this is it. Had a great experience at Pet Value this evening! The associate was super friendly! She answered all the questions I had about my puppy and ensured I found what I was looking for. She never made me feel rushed despite it being near closing time. What amazing customer service!

I've come in on multiple occasions to buy bunny food and have always been greeted with a smile and sometimes if they'd run out a gentleman and young lady would go the extra mile by calling different stores to see which one might be best suited for my location that's in stock of products I'd rate higher if I could because these guys make it an amazing experience which makes it just that much better to constantly come back!

This is the most unreliable pet valu I’ve ever been to. Just so happens that every time I try to use the bath, the short girl with long hair and glasses (who has a big attitude for someone so small) is never accommodating and comes up with a reason why the bath is closed. I understand cleaning it may be annoying and tiresome, but if that’s not a responsibility you wish to take on then please find a location without a bath. I’ve been to several other locations where the staff is so amazing and so helpful. This is not one of them.
