I know there are many Middle Eastern restaurants in Mississauga, but this is truly one of THE BEST, hands down! I really felt like I was in the Middle East, that's how authentic and amazing this place is! Food was amazingly delicious, the owners are extremely kind, and the prices are very affordable! Go and ask for their arab breakfast platter (see image below), you won't regret it! The food was so good I kept eating even after I was full! Will definitely be back to Mississauga just to eat here!

Thoroughly enjoyed our family dinner at #OMCC we ordered a mix of Mediterranean and Desi cuisine. Loved Karahi and kebabs, their humus and Shwarma pizza was also very good. huge variety of freshly baked naans. the customer service and ambiance was also great, definitely going back again !

Came by for some halwa puri on a weekend. Surprisingly , it wasn’t too busy there was parking directly in front, plenty of seating available. The walls are covered in pictures featuring artists from Pakistan, architectural landmarks and ofcourse Aftab Iqbal who I have seen on tv when visiting my parents. The menu features staple Pakistani cuisine along with Mediterranean. I was ready to try both, Unfortunately, they didn’t have any of the items available on their Mediterranean menu. We tried the Lahori Nashta, halwa puri came with chickpeas (choley), halwa and puri. The combination itself was tasty. The only drawback was that the puri was very oily. The Nihari with naan was my favourite, it was a bit spicy but I couldn’t stop eating it. The chai also hit the spot. The service wasn’t bad, we received our food quickly the staff was friendly. They do have a great catering menu with great prices which I can’t wait to try. Overall, pleased & recommend it.

I visited 3 times. First time Salt was little more.next visits I told them about less salt in start.now the taste is perfect and this restaurant became favorite for me and my family. I will keep telling my friends about its good taste and freshness. I have tried so many restaurants and finally this is the one I will recommend. I tried lahori chicken karahi, chicken thigh bbq, Naan,aloo tiki,chicken biryani, Rahu fish, kids chicken bites and fries,king kulfi,butter chicken 🐔

I love the complimentary daal/soup they gave in the begining before ordering , it was really good .I went with my family . My brother's usually go here with their friends alot. I loved the food and the mango shake, mango lassi, strawberry mango lassi was good. Karhai and white karhai is the best , we went especially for that because my brothers had tasted their karhai..chana and chicken wrap was good too. We also ordered the desert they had loved it . Service was nice. I was also there for the Opening, I have shared pictures from the opening as well .

This has become one of my favorite restaurants in Mississauga. A must visit if you are looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine. Although you wouldn't be able to tell it's a Middle Eastern restaurant from its name, but the food is really good. We came on an early Friday night and the restaurant was empty. For two pax, we ordered the Lahori chicken karahi (served in a wok, half chicken), chicken biryani, butter naan and garden salad to share. The meal took 25 minutes to prepare but it was so worth it. We took half the time to clear the dishes. Everything was served piping hot. The chicken karahi has a bit of heat, as it should, and it was so delicious. The naan is very good, the best I've had in awhile. The biryani is also decent and goes well with the karahi curry. I also love the dressing of the garden salad which balances the whole meal well. Service is excellent from our server Shivani. Highly recommend overall.

Very Delicious Food, Best place for Middle Eastern and Desi Cuisine. Customer service from Bhumika was wonderful, she recommended we try Fish which was bursting with flavour!

Its a great Halal food restaurant. Taste of their food is really great. I tried different dishes along with my friends. Every dish has a great taste. Their food quality was great as well as a great customer service. I hope they will keep such food standard always. I would Highly recommend this place to go along with your family and friends.

The food I had at this Middle Eastern restaurant was phenomenal! My boyfriend and I had 4 various Manakeesh along with the Tabboleh. It was very flavourful and filling. I also bought some baklava for take out and enjoyed it. The restaurant was spacious and the staff were welcoming. I highly recommend this place and will be back to try some of their other menu items.

This new restaurant has only been around since December 27th and they have already won the hearts of the desi community in Mississauga. They also have another branch in Lahore, Pakistan, under another management. They take their objective to provide the Desi community in GTA with authentic Pakistani food in a truly Desi manner very seriously and you can see it in their ambiance, taste it in their food and experience it in their service! Their restaurant is partly owned by Mr. Aftab Iqbal and we were very graciously welcomed by Muhammad who works with him. We tried their Kheer, Mutanjan, Baklava, Lahori Chicken Karahi, Palak Paneer, Lahori Chana, Chicken Kebab, Chicken Tikka, Fish Pakora, Shawarma Pizza, Chicken Chunks Zaatar, Lahori Chargha, Hummus with meat, Lemon Mint, Strawberry Shake, Mango Smoothie and every single thing was delicious and made fresh by chefs Zulfiqar and Ibrahim! Exceptional food, exceptional service, pakistani feel ambiance. You don't want to miss this out!

Our first time eating at this restaurant. All the food items were great and reasonably priced. The food looked appetizing and tasted great. It offers complimentary water bottles with the food. We ordered raho fish, chicken karahi, palak paneer, lahori chana and naans. While everything was delicious, we loved the chicken karahi most and then the raho fish. We liked the food presentation as well. However it took a long time to get our food, though it wasn’t too busy at that time. The crew was friendly and polite, making sure our experience went well. We found the art on the walls interesting and entertaining. But the lighting was too bright and the place was quite noisy for us. The seating was comfortable but we didn’t have any place to hang our jackets. Overall it was a good experience and we will definitely visit again for the food.

Loved shinwari karahi , also tried fish but I think fish shouldn’t be on a skillet but it tasted good, met with “Mohammad” and he was so sweet as expected and “as seen on TV” would definitely go back again with family and or friends but probably for “Naashta” next time btw lentil soup was delicious

In general the food was very good, we ordered the Chicken Charga and Rohu Fish. Our server Bhumika was great and recommended the Rohu Fish to us which wasn't on the menu as it was a new item, and it was a standout must order item out of what we had.

Very tasty manakeesh by far one of the best manakeesh dough we've had; thin dough, soft but not chewy with crispy edge perfectly made. We ordered breakfast tray for 2, portion was big very reasonably priced, taste was fine was way too salty for us but maybe for others it's not. Place is spacious and clean.

The beef shawarma wrap was fresh, meticulously prepared and a decent portion size. It had a unique blend of spices that I've never tried before. The majority of shawarmas that I've recently had were just thrown together quickly and overdone with creamy toppings. This was not the case. The use of ingredients were perfectly balanced. They obviously take pride in their food. I will definitely order again.

awesome taste in food, full of ziaka and real authentic Pakistani and Indian taste… very friendly staff , cool interior the fish tikka was delicious. i tried many restaurants here in canada but the taste of food here is authentic and delicious

First time ordering shawarma from this restaurant. I made the right decision to choose this restaurant. The quantity was beyond what I normally find for a shawarma plate. Taste 9/10.

Their chicken karahi is really good, very flavourful and always fresh. The spice level is quite balanced and pairs nicely with their tandoori naan. The palak paneer was tasty and kind of mild. The chicken chargha was good with crispy outer layer but didn't have enough flavour inside. The service is great with complimentary lentil soup to start with. Their kulfi was quite expensive compared to other places and had too much salt.

I traveled to Canada and stopped by at the Open Mic Cafe with my family, and I cannot stress enough how amazing the food and service was. It was truly the best Pakistani food we’ve had the chance to experience! Our waitress was Bhumika (I hope I spelled her name correctly!) and she took care of us and accommodated us extremely well. Aside from that, Muhammad Rumman came to our table and checked in with us on how the food was and was extremely friendly. Anyone who travels to Mississauga area, please do give this place and try, I promise you, the you’ll get the true flavours of Pakistani cuisine here! For anyone wondering: We ordered boneless chicken tikka, chicken seekh kabab, chicken shinwari, roghni naan, Mutanjan rice, lemon mint soda, and Karak chai. Please do check this place out! Before I get to the food let me say how amazing the service was..... when we sat down we were given mineral bottle water instead of it being in a jug and complimentary lentil soup. My young daughters didn't like the sound of it but when they tasted it even they loved it. Don't pass up on it. Then the food was amazing too, I just hope they continue at same prices and service. I fear the more busier they get they might focus on profit and lose the customer service and excellent prices. Highly recommended.... try yourself I'm a huge foodie and tried all the usual places without naming them but the food here was the best.

Excellent staff, they did get my order mixed up but fixed it almost instantly, no questions asked. Excellent service and even better food. Clean, and modern looking as well, as supposed to some of the other Halal restaurants in the area. The beef Donair on my plate was a free sample from the chef, not the actual portion. Looking forward to coming again.

First time trying Palestine food style and desserts at Taboo country. Deliciousness!! Hands down the best desserts I have eaten. Definitely, a great place to stop by.

Open Mic Cafe & Cuisine offers a culinary experience like no other. The Shinwari Chicken Karahi was a flavorful delight, perfectly complemented by the aromatic Chicken Biryani. The impeccably cooked fish and refreshing drinks added to the gastronomic pleasure. A special mention must be made of the exceptional service provided by Bhumika and Tamanah. Their attentiveness and enthusiasm enhanced our dining experience. I highly recommend this establishment to others, as the delightful dishes and impeccable service make it a standout choice.

Very, very average food. Lahori Channa is a disgrace to Lahore. Please do NOT order Lahori Channa. They are tasteless. Look at my attached pictures to see how much excessive oil was in it. The Beef Kebab was good. Chicken Biryani was OK, like most restaurants. Rogni Naan were good. The service and employees were excellent and overall the ambiance is alright.

This place is a Pakistani Middle eastern fusion. The service was amazing food was amazing and huge portions. The server Bhumika was very nice and attentive to our needs. The food came pretty quick. We got the biryani, and meat hummus and butter chicken and the taste was excellent. Highly recommended.
