One of the Best Chinese restaurants in Mississauga. Ample of dining space and amazing services. If you looking for tangy or saucy, spicy or non-spicy Chinese option, you should definitely try this place. Apart from Chinese option, they do have good options for vegetarians folks. We specially requested a mild version of Hakka noodles for our kids and they made it exactly how we wanted Ambience - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food Options - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food Portion - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ More importantly, their food portion is quite good unlike other restaurants so you’ll definitively find food worth your money.

We ordered tray size meals for our company lunch. We got the fried rice, hakka noodles, spring rolls, Manchurian chicken, and chili chicken. They were all delicious. They had the food ready when we showed up for the pick up. Excellent service!!!

Worst, awful and most tasteless Hakka Chinese we ever had in Mississauga. We ordered Crispy chilli chicken that was not crispy at all. It was chicken dipped in some egg mix that became mushy. Manchurian chicken with absolutely no flavour and taste and salt n pepper chicken with pathetic Desi taste and lastly the tasteless Manchurian noodles. Weird and cheapest thing was they offer no steam rice with any of the curries…absolutely makes no sense. It was our first and last time ordering food from this cheap restaurant!!

The food was really tasty, spicy and reasonably priced. It is one of the best Hakka restaurants in GTA. The staff was friendly but only one person was serving. The restaurant decor was great and cozy environment. Also, really impressed by the quantity of the food. I highly recommend this Chinese Hakka restaurant.

This has to be one of the best places for Hakka food. The food was cooked very fresh and the taste was delicious. I ordered Manchurian chicken and sesame chicken with Hakka noodles. I went during the weekdays and it was empty. The atmosphere is family friendly, and the service is good. This is the perfect food to order off of uber eats too!

Salt n Pepper .. The best Hakka Chinese where I always love to go. You will find Everything great there from restaurant ambience,Food (Taste + Quality + Quantity) to their service. Food was so tasty and the presentation also amazing. I ordered Egg fried rice, sald & papper special chicken, chicken spring rolls and momos, really all foods that i order was amazing i love the taste totally no complain on food. But two thing i not ok with here one is the servants are not take caring the customers 0% and the other one is the food and everything ok but no drinks onky the have soft drinks. I expect some special drink but they dont have. Otherthen that everything good👍. For sure i will go again for the foods. All the best team....

I am a Hakka enthusiast. This place is below average. The hot and sour is a staple item of mine, and this one had so much MSG I could sense the medicinal-like aftertaste. I had to add more hot sauce to try and balance the lack of flavour. I’d avoid it next time. The fried rice is better but average at best, it’s using basmati rice instead of short grain rice like many other Hakka places. The flavour is there, it’s light. The crispy beef was not crispy, and the Manchurian chicken was the best part of this meal. Overall I’d give this place a generous 5.5/10.

If i could I would’ve gave 0 stars! Man the service and food is so bad! Like real bad! I ordered the food we did pickup, it was 30min drive from my place and it was first time. When i reached home thinking to have an amazing meal. I was missing one of two ordered soups. I called the restaurant they said sorry by mistake it happened and we understand that it happens nobody is perfect. I told them i am 30 min away my other food will get cold if i drive tht much for the soup. The waitress/hostess told me we will compensate for their mistake when ull come next time with 1 extra item. Next time i placed order for same soup which i was missing and one additional which they said to give. I went there after 30 min they gave me ☝️ one. I asked then i placed order for 2. Then she said oh but we saw that u were only missing 1 soup. Man who does that- if u didn’t place the order for two why u guys didn’t said tht on first place that u are going to cook just one. Then i told i want to tlk the senior its completely waste of time. The superior chef came said we apologise we’ll make soup in 2 min i was like okay i wait. I did take 2 min and gave me liquid with red colour and raw spices in it. All the food was tossed in coloured water, and salty soup with overloaded spices, Like pure garbage is what they are serving. It was my first and last and i will make sure not to recommend this restaurant to anybody.

The restaurant is good looking itself. The staff was nice. The food was really really good when it was hot. Once it got a little cooler it was not good anymore. The food came out fairly quickly. But we did not get checked up on since putting the food on the table until we got the bill.

Food was good, equipped with adequate spices we love in Chinese as South Asian. Staff was kind and helpful and extended their help for some extra birthday arrangements of my niece. I would recommend this place and yes I loved their Hot N Sour soup, it was delicious.

Have visited the restaurant multiple times and food used to be so good; However, looks like the chef has changed and apparently a basic stir fry is burnt charred extremely oily and they add so much food Color to make their food cover. They justify saying if they are busy they serve burnt food.

I'm a big fan on Hakka chinese and that is why tried so many different restaurants in GTHA, DURHAM, WATERLOO REGION and I would confess Salt & Pepper is in my Top-5 Hakka now. Their food is amazingly delicious. One thing I'll point out and that is their service, they are definitely 5 stars in food but the service was not good as it should be, you've to wait for waiters and do lots of waving to actually get their attention which was a bit of a problem but overall highly recommend it. Added after my 4th visit: I took some my friend again on September 10th-2023, we ordered Hot & sour soup, fried rice, chowmein, Chilli fish & Chilli chicken. After our order, e waited for almost half an hour and still no sign of our soup, and they didn't even serve us water that's why I went to the reception to actually ask for it. Again the food was amazing but if they didn't fix the service, I'm not going there anymore.

Loved the soup and fish curry . Fried rice was not satisfying with taste ordered special fried rice, and we started a hunt for shrimp in fried rice. Later, the server said we get only 7 pieces of shrimp in that rice..recommended only for soup.Will come back for soup,servers are friendly nice

One of the best Hakka place! Halal! Always welcomed by delightful pleasant staff! Food is amazing! Always fresh! Full of flavours! Variety of selections! Their briyani and crispy chili Brest chicken is to die for! Highly recommended this place for casual or any other gatherings. Their customer service is great!

We ordered The Manchurian chicken lunch special with fried rice, chili chicken with gravy and Szechuan Hakka noodles. The price of this place is fantastic, very well priced, some of the chicken came out really crispy, but overall as far as taste goes, this place is not great. Probably the most bland noodles I've ever tasted in my life, unfortunately. Completely tasteless, really needs work. The chili chicken had more of a soup consistency than it did a gravy consistency, and Manchurian chicken gravy was not great either, the chicken itself was pretty good and sometimes crispy. I feel like the Manchurian chicken was really crispy and they left the chili chicken sit a bit too long and was not crispy at all. Pretty disappointing, but the price was great and the service was fantastic. The people working there are very nice, but the food is bad. Follow me on my Hunt for the best chili chicken in Ontario, so far not going great.

This place is just okay if you are too hungry and don’t have any option around. The food here is not fresh and already cooked. I had ordered a lunch combo which also included soup. But the soup was already prepared in bulk and I could sense it by the taste. Also, unfortunately, I felt that the chilli chicken had some pieces of paneer mixed which is unfair. I had asked to make the food extra spicy but they didn’t make it. I believe because the food was already prepared.

We tried their hot and sour soup, drum sticks, kang pao chicken and special rice. Every single dish tasted so good. A must try place for hakka.

I really love the atmosphere of this place. The chicken sziller was the out of the world. Thought it was my first time, the staff working there make me feel comfortable and special. I really appreciate swastika for her warm and the best service. She was really good at her job. My first visit there with my friends was amazing thanks to her. I will look forward to come here again.

Everything was excellent, I didn't have to wait to get a table, the 2 ladies who served me were very friendly and the food was delicious.

I visited this place after very long time food was still good in test. Service experience wasn't that great. Place was busy but still lots of free parking. Overall experience was good.

I went for a dine-in last night with my friends and was blown away by the exceptional service provided by the staff. Their attention to detail, friendliness, and willingness to go above and beyond make the dining experience truly unforgettable. I appreciated their knowledge of menu items and the recommendations they provided. They made the experience enjoyable and made sure all of my needs were met. I highly recommend this restaurant and especially the staff for their outstanding service.

This place is worth of every single pennies of yours , service is marvellous , food is supper clean and supper delicious, fresh and true to the name . It was my 2nd time of being there n i loved every single dish we ordered more than before . Their dry fish ♥️out of this world with that yummy sauce they use. Will recommend it for every one

Salt & Pepper located in Mississauga is one of the best Chinese restaurant. They have wide range of variety in their menu. The quality and quality of food is on point. The interior of this restaurant is pretty average and casual however it’s a good restaurant to try it out with friends and family.
