Stayed
many
times
at
this
hotel
since
discovering
is
not
on
the
flight
path
from
the
nearby
airport,
giving
it
always
5
stars
despite
being
charged
3
times
for
one
stay
(which
took
a
long
time
to
be
refunded
when
returning
to
the
UK
for
example
-
as
I
read
once
again
my
reviews
here,
besides
other
problems
created
by
the
receptionists
and
their
lack
of
efficiency).
We
came
here
to
visit
the
nearby
family
in
poor
health,
staying
one
week
and
used
the
Hilton
app
to
book
the
room
one
day
in
advance
(which
functions
perfectly
with
other
Hilton
hotels)
always
a
suite
at
the
end
of
the
hallway
on
the
upper
floor
to
avoid
noisy
people
etc
however:
1.
Upon
arrival
the
receptionist
said
the
room
we
booked
was
not
available
-
why
allow
us
to
book
that
room
via
the
app
then?
She
gave
us
suite
620
facing
the
nearby
restaurants
and
the
LA
gym
where
I
went
several
times
as
the
hotel
gym
is
just
basic
2.
The
room
had,
just
like
in
the
past,
just
about
everything
except
oven
and
sponge/washing
liquid
-
also
noticed
the
breakfast
as
poorer
than
pre-covid,
with
the
almost
same
varieties
every
day.
Also
the
evening
options
were
gone
completely
due
to
covid
(as
if
this
new
'flu
strain'
is
not
here
to
stay
just
like
the
Spanish
flu
that
modified
our
ancestors'
resilience
to
all
kind
of
cold/flu/lung
problems).
I
believe
that
high
levels
of
cleanliness
should
be
on
everyone's
agenda
-
covid
or
no
covid.
However
what
upset
us
the
most,
and
had
numerous
(now
simply
useless
conversations,
I
conclude
-
and
a
waste
of
our
time)
with
almost
every
single
receptionist/office
staff/manager
detailing
the
cigarette
smell
starting
every
night
around
8pm
and
running
until
the
morning
for
the
whole
week
we
stayed
there.
They
could
smell
it
themselves,
some
being
more
honest
to
how
bad
it
was
than
others
and
not
only
replaced
the
towels
we
have
not
even
used
but
even
the
shower
curtain
a
few
days
later
due
to
smelling
so
strong
of
cigarette.
The
room
spray
they
gave
to
us
could
not
cover
the
smell
of
cigarette
and
we
had
to
purchase
our
own
room
spray
for
this.
In
the
end
we
asked
them
to
simply
cover
the
air
vent
in
the
bathroom
with
duct
tape,
where
NO
smoke
detectors
were
or
water
sprinkler,
present
in
the
other
rooms
though
and
apparently
much
stronger
in
the
common
hallways
-
smokers
around
the
world,
aren't
you
happy
with
this?
Since
many
hotels
always
write
polite
reminders
to
their
guests
about
different
policies,
as
we
encountered
around
the
world
(smoking
is
banned
in
Ontario
hotels
and
charged
250
Canadian
dollars
which
should
be
10
times
higher,
if
you
ask
me)
we
thought
this
might
be
a
good
incentive
however
none
of
the
above
mentioned
people
we
spoke
with
actually
did
anything
about
this.
We
received
mixed
information
about
the
hotel's
air
con
vents
(somebody
saying
they
come
from
the
suite
underneath,
others
saying
they
go
all
directions,
others
saying
there
are
separate
on
both
side
of
the
hotel)
proof
the
hotel
staff
were
not
ready
to
help
us
instead
asking
us
to
move
(my
computer
tower
and
kitchen
devices
we
brought
with
us
all
the
way
from
the
USA
to
make
our
1
week
stay
easier)
to
suite
621
(which
smelled
strongly
of
ethnic
cooking
even
my
air
freshner
could
NOT
mask)
or
suite
615,
617
opposite
some
VERY
rude
and
very
loud
group
of
men
making
lots
of
noises
in
the
evening
as
no
one
dared
to
approach
them
-
one
of
the
reasons
we
always
asked
for
a
corner
suite
and
not
a
jacuzzi
room
which
is
not
a
suite
with
2
rooms
as
we
like.
How
many
times
were
we
to
move
if
the
cigarette
smoke
reached
us
in
another
suite?
Wouldn't
have
been
much
better
if
the
hotel
staff
was
to
put
methods
in
place
to
identify
the
smoker
instead
of
protecting
this
person
and
upsetting
my
lungs:
my
nose
started
bleeding
some
24
hours
later
and
coughing
'funny'
proof
that
my
immune
system
is
not
as
strong
as
a
smoker.
Towards
the
end
of
our
stay
room
621
(with
the
ethnic
cooking
smell)
was
occupied
and
I
am
sure
the
same
will
happen
to
620
for
the
smoker
to
affect
a
new
family.
This
is
proof
the
hotel
management
simply
does
not
care
about
return
