Great place to dine. Service was great and food was really good. Head chef and owner says Hi 👋 when he has a minute. We had Pizza Fettachini Pasta and Chicken al Pesto. 😋 music is awesome and fits the vibe. The only think I would change is the lighting...was not able to take good photos because of the color change they perform. Highly recommended 👌🏽 👍 👏🏼 💯

Came here a while back and received such a phenomenal meal, the service was amazing, the wine recs were perfect for the meal and the ambiance of the restaurant was truly beautiful. Definitely look forward to coming back here again.

The food was delicious and service was amazing. It's a cute little place. Very cozy. Our server was quick and efficient. Glad we had a chance to check out this wonderful restaurant. If you are in the area, definitely check it out, you wont be disappointed.

Fantastic. Classy atmosphere. Chef and servers were wonderful. Nice wine selection. I loved my octopus. Steak was too big for us, however cooked perfectly. The candle was actually flavoured butter. Italian with a little Peruvian flare. Would return again.

Great ambiance and food! Second time going here and we first fell in love with the grilled octopus that we had to have it again. Just request it ahead of time (2 days before). Also enjoyed the mussels as an app. The portion is enough for two. Oh and the chef comes out to personally greet guests and see how the guests are dining. Then after our meal, he came out and shared a lemoncello shot with me and my boyfriend. Superb!

We visited Bacio Trattoria for the first time this past weekend and just wow. Incredible food, freshly cooked to order, fresh ingredients. Alicia our server was phenomenal. She was very knowledgeable about the items and frequently checked in on us. Personally coming from a hospitality background, we were very impressed with this overall service & style that is offered here. Chef also comes out to serve and chat with guests. What a wonderful experience. We will definitely return!

Great food, great service with a nice ambiance for a small place. Love the preset menu, only one little problem, if you are a picky eater it could be an issue.

It’s unfortunately situated right across the street from construction but yet it feels very cosy and private inside. My group ordered the gnocchi, sea bass, Bacio pizza, and Asiago chicken penne and they were all very good in their own way. I personally really liked the gnocchi but the pizza also had one of the best doughs I’ve had in Barrie. It’s a little expensive but portions are generous. Owner is also the chef and is very welcoming (he brought us complimentary desert at the end). Definitely would visit again

Food was incredible, perfectly balanced ingredients. The whole cloves of roasted garlic in the Penne Asiago was sooooo good. The chef came and offered us drinks on the house after our meal. He was very personable and shared his very own blend of seasoning salt for us to take home. I’ve never been to a restaurant before like this that I felt the passion of the chef face to face like this. Will be back for certain and will bring friends. I highly recommend

This place is absolutely incredible, a hidden gem along the Barrie downtown streets. Not only is the atmosphere welcoming, exciting and smells amazing - it feels like home the first time you enter. The servers, bartenders and chefs clearly enjoy what they do and are eager to make sure their guests have a great night. Have been back numerous times and have told many people that it's a must visit if you're in the area! Absolutely delicious meals and drinks.

Wow what an amazing experience my girlfriend and I had. Went out for a date night and had an above and beyond experience at this authentic Italian place. Owner took care of us and went out of his way to make sure we had a great night. From amazing food to amazing service we will definitely be bringing our whole family back here. Don’t miss out on this gem in Barrie that had us feeling right at home.

The experience was amazing. Great food and ambience...they treated us not only like family...but with some time and space to talk. I am half deaf - having loud music to shout over dinner...so old. Music level was just right level. The seafood risotto - silky and sublimely sumptuous. Best I have had in years. Go. Eat here. You will be back because deserve to be treated well.

First time at the restaurant. Very pleasant place , with genuine servers. The food was to die for, would definitely go again and definitely recommend:) Drinks were made perfectly. We were happy and so were our tummies. Also we loved how one of the chefs came out to see how the food was . That was the cherry on-top of the cake . Very professional. Go check it out !

Always amazing service. Will (owner) always makes sure to touch every table and show that he cares about each and every guest that comes through the door. The bartender, Alicia makes some amazing cocktails to compliment a wonderful dinner. 10/10 every time! Never been disappointed. would give 10 stars if possible, every dish prepared with love. Staff is as friendly as they come, instantly felt like family from the moment we walked through the door. For sure worth a try, I will be back many times. Thank you so much for the great experience

My family spent the New Year's Eve at Bacio Trattoria restaurant and it was magical. We had an amazing family dinner and great music. We felt like in home as everyone there was so friendly and helpful. The Chef and staff did everything to make us feel so special. It has been one of the most beautiful NYE we have ever had. The food was delicious and plenty. So many exquisite flavours. I could not imagine any other better place to spend such a special night. Thank you so much to everyone who make us feel so special. We will keep 2023 NYE at Bacio Trattoria in our hearts as one of the best family memories we could ever have. Thank you so much.

This really is a hidden gem In Barrie. You will love the food, you will probably chat with the chef/owner and he will sincerely want to joke what your think. You will be taken care of by the staff, the kitchen, the owner and the quality. What more could you ask for. Traditional dishes that are well made and presented without ever being pretentious. Really really good. Sorry for the weird colouring on the photos, twilight and coloured lighting does nothing justice.
