Normally, I have good experiences. This particular site has a few items that I struggle with. It's got paid breakfast and a workout room that is in need of TLC. I needed to move rooms 3 times to have functional heat. The room sits at 67°F and won't warm up. So I had to downgrade to a room for heat, and the front staff were just as helpless as me. 3rd room had heat, but the electrical outlet (wall plug) that I had plugged to charge overnight didn't work either. So I'm writing this at 7 am. on 25% of the phone battery. I'm not a fan of the shampoo/conditioner/bodywash as they use disposable bottles, but the water had pressure, so I had a great shower.

Everything was filthy and old. Toilet had grime aroung the base. Washroom sink blocked. Sofa bed had old sheets with food still stuck on them. When i complained they literally removed the food and told me it was clean, no change of sheets. Until i asked. Most dangerous, pool was overfilled.not respecting the depth posted. It was the most expensive price i have ever paid for such a garbage place. Staff was nice though.

Dirty and not maintained. This place is not worth your money. There was crusty stuff on the bedsheets, and first they wanted to bring us new bedsheets to change the bed ourselves as they claimed they had no other rooms. They changed our room instead, 'miraculously' finding another one. No crusty stuff in the new room, but everything was still stained - stains on sheets, towels, walls, floors. Cut marks all over the headboards. Nothing is properly maintained or cleaned at this place. They gave us free breakfast coupons, which we would not use - why would we want to eat at a place that doesn't value cleanliness?!? We got a small credit at checkout and the same excuse I see the owner using here for the past year or so: they're going to have a renovation soon. Well, you DO NOT NEED TO WAIT FOR A RENOVATION to refresh your towels & linens and keep things clean and maintained.

The property is located in a great location. However it is quite run down. The headboards are dirty and ripped, along with the curtains. Found strands of hair in the washroom and the paintings have dirt smudges on them. For the price and the brand, I expected a lot more. Felt very slightly upscale to a motel unfortunately. Will surely not stay here again. Staff are great + house keeping is on top of checking in and doing the bed, unfortunately the hygiene factor remains. The bed was extremely uncomfortable due a top mattress being placed on it and with its wear and tear, sunk into the middle of the mattress, so it felt like two beds joined together for one. They do have a gym and swimming pool, along with the restaurant with limited hours. Overall - Will not rebook with property. This location is badly in need of a remodel to continue functioning as a three star hotel.

Stayed here over the weekend to visit a family around the area and all I could say is that this hotel totally needs a facelift and renovation and the only good thing about this hotel right now is its location. The washroom towels are old and almost dirty white in color. toilet has stain that its almost gross to look at. The carpets smells muggy. Also head boards needs replacing too. its almost like the leather is peeling off. Also, we used the pool to hang out and I suggest that they change the faucet and showers too, the water kept flowing from the shower its a sin to look at due to water being wasted.

Very disappointing stay. It's not the cleanest place I have stayed in. The door had an oil like substance on it, as did the dresser/tv stand. There were two elevators with only one being in service. I realize the hotel is being upgraded, but it is rather messy all around. The exercise room has a rack of weights with only three weights. Two on the rack, 8 pounds each, and one 10 on the floor. The water cooler was leaking. The worst was that on the night of October 15, the power went out and was out until 7:49 am. The power would try to come back on. Each time, the fire alarm would chirp. Not much sleep, plus it got cool during the night. When I spoke with the front desk in the morning, they did not want to really talk about it. Until renos are completed, I would avoid staying there. The pool was cool, and the hot tube was not hot. Presumably from the power outage.

Overall it wasn't very clean or maintained.the ice maker was very dirty & musty. Pool was suspect & shower in pool area missing knob so therefore inoperable. The sign said mandatory shower before using pool.i did the survey to try to be discreet. They just basically said better luck next time.

I booked three rooms for a business group. I booked a four night stay for each one of us. Unfortunately, I need to look for a different hotel. This place needs a lot of work, repairs and cleaning regime. Rooms are outdated, broken furniture, wires everywhere. As soon as you walk into any of the three rooms I’ve booked feels like a prison cell. The hot tub jets didn’t work, nor did the taps for the shower in the pool area to rinse off before jumping in.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The rooms are run down and old. This hotel desperately needs renovations. Pool area looked like it should be in a deserted building. The windows in the rooms have outlived their life span. The bathrooms are very old, dirty and run down, leaking shower heads. The staff were good though. But a big disappointment given the name Holiday Inn.

I’m usually easy to please, but this hotel was disgusting. When we first arrived, the bed was dirty (which is fine because it can be fixed). Then we found a sock in the bedroom and clothes in the drawers. Then when the person came to change the bed, it became a bit obvious (due to the wording) that they only changed the bedding if it was noticeably dirty. The pool was tiny and Also the water was opaque and musty and had body hair and dirt floating along the top. Hallways dirty and musty, room dusty. By far the worst Holiday Inn we have ever stayed at.

Super clean, excellent beds and pillows. The shower was plentiful. They put mini Dove amenities which was a nice surprise. We booked a taxi for the next morning and when we came down the taxi had never been called. That was the only low point, but immediately they called a new one from the front desk and it arrived 5 min later. Taxi from the Airport was 70 CAD, and back was 55 CAD im case someone needs a reference. It's not an Airport hotel.

Definitely needs some loving. Building is very old and falling apart. Carpets are stained and floors were not vacuumed well. Also a huge chunk of the ceiling in the lobby fell when I has e iting the elevator (looked like it was due to water damage). Anyways- potential is there although time for some updates and renovations.

I am so disappointed. My family needed somewhere to stay as we were attending the memorial for my recently passed uncle. Unfortunately, my husband had just sprained his foot and was having difficulty moving around. This meant we required rooms that were connected (I have a 3 year old and 1.5 year old that like to run and CAN NOT sleep in the same room). I called ahead to make reservations to ensure we could have connected rooms. I was assured this was what I was booking. But upon arrival they refused to give me the connected rooms I had booked and needed. They offered me a room that was connected but would not honour the price I was originally given. I was told I could cancel my reservation at no charge. So I did, but still needed to find somewhere for my family to stay. Thankfully, Four Points across the street saved the day! I walked in, explained my situation. They happily found us the rooms we needed and for a cheaper price. If you are unable to ensure connected rooms, please just say so. Don't lie to get my business. I'd rather just be told the truth and decide myself what is best for my family.

A good hotel. Clean, pleasant bed linen, clean towels, they are changed on time. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. Please conduct cleaning training or hire an auditor to check the cleanliness of the rooms. And also some strange smell in the room and in the entire corridor. Too much smelly chemistry. Anyway, I recommend this hotel!

The room was surprisingly more than was expected considering the price of the room and was pretty comfortable; even for 7 people. Photos will have to wait until next time as my kids exploded in the room as soon as I opened the door. The hotel restaurant/bar looked really nice and the smell definitely made me want to go try some of the food. The gym needs work but the Pool and hot tub was nice. It was a little bit small if there's more than one family with kids but it's almost never busy. Service was friendly and professional. They also support government, military and first responders with a discount. I marked it down for my experience because I was charged for my room before they added the discount and then refused to give it to me because the payment was processed. I won't argue semantics but this was not pleasant This place being close to the highway and an abundance of restaurants is really nice too. The other downfall is the smoking area is right next to the door and it was not pleasant unloading my vehicle or bringing my children passed a bunch of people smoking weed just to get in the hotel. *Heads up* for those who come here, it's a sharp turn into the hotel from the street and can come quick if not careful.

Absolutely terrible do not waste your money. Between the mess and the lobby with teenagers hanging out and eating mcdonald's. Our first room did not have a c so we were switched to a second room When upon entering the second room the bathroom was completely flooded and we were put in a third room. They have a restaurant on the main floor with the smallest menu ever and in the morning they charge. You forty dollars for breakfast for 2people. I've stayed in nicer places in niagara falls and had a cheaper breakfast. Warning do not stay

If I could give 0 stars, I would. First off, the hotel is supposedly “smoke free” but smells like a literal ashtray. Our room smelled moldy and like stale nicotine. The bathroom didn’t look like it was cleaned properly. I wouldn’t trust this hotel to even clean their bedsheets properly. Utter disorganization of the staff. And to top it all off, it has bed bugs. I notified the staff and they didn’t refund me, didn’t do anything to rectify the situation even after I had to call them multiple times after my stay to get some answers because they never called me back. The management is highly unprofessional as you can tell from several other 1 star reviews. It’s horrible, just pay more and stay somewhere else. I’ll never stay at any Holiday Inn ever again, let alone this atrocity.

Most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at and the hotel staff and management are even worse. I spent the night there two weeks ago and had to move rooms because the first room I stayed in looked like it had never been cleaned (walls had mysterious white stuff all over them, the linens and bed skirts had stains all over them, the surfaces were sticky). The second room I received was also not properly cleaned (still walls and marks all over the furniture and bedding) but because I was travelling for work and it was already into the evening I sucked it up and slept on a towel. The next morning I informed the hotel of the issues and they gave me the run around. Kept informing me that the manager would call. I proceeded to wait and call back 5 time over the span of 2 weeks. When the manager finally called me back he was the most disrespectful, condescending, arrogant human being I have ever interacted with. He began to blame me for not requesting to change rooms more times, told me I should've chosen to leave the hotel if it wasn't satisfactory and also said that I should've called the hotel sooner, to which I informed him I did but was always told he was busy and would call me back but no one ever called. He then told me it was impossible to get a full refund for my stay because I chose not to leave the hotel and it was irrelevant how much time I have spent on the phone with his team or IHG and that the rooms are just old. Would never recommend ANYONE stay at this hotel with this level of customer service you are better off sleeping on the streets.

The location is great, staff was great, but the hotel is getting old I guess. Some of the Towels were really worn out. There were stains in the shower. Looked like permanent stains…but still, kind of unappealing. Single ply tissue and toilet paper were not a hit. Would still recommend for the price.

DO NOT ever go here. We came in from out of town and decided to spend the night at a hotel to save the drive home. When we first got there it looked fine, until my husband got into bed and found a BED BUG. My son had a full anxiety attack, and we had to wake up our 11 year old autistic child at 12 am because we had to leave. I am beyond furious, and the woman at the front desk clearly knew this was a problem because she was perplexed by my husband's response to "no" when she asked if we wanted another room. Please answer me why anyone would want another room after finding bugs? Why would anyone ever stay. I'm very angry, very upset. Super inconvenienced and likely up all night now with 3 really upset children. My daughter is a struggling sleeper as is, and after the 2 hour drive home I now ontop of everything have to go home, bag all our stuff we brought and bought from our trip, re get my kids into bed. It was SUCH a hassle, and so unbelievably disgusting. And how the woman at the front desk handled it was appalling. She didn't even contact other management, nothing. When my husband showed her the photos we took she seemed unphased. This place KNOWS they have a problem!!! If you have a family, I do not recommend this place. They refunded us, but I mean now have to go home and we loose belongings over this which will be well over the cost I paid for the hotel in the first place. I will NEVER stay on a Holiday Inn again!!! It ruined our evening and put my 8 year old son in a full blown panic attack. I'm disgusted, and I'm really angry.

I was there for a week. Overall I was disappointed. - The rooms I was in was nice and large. I set the temperature to cool down (68f) but it never dropped below 72. There was a handful of small issues that I'll throw in at the bottom of this, but they aren't deal breakers. But I will mention the hairs on the tub from someone shaving. Clear Indication that they aren't cleaning well. "Gym" - the water dispenser doesn't work. The sanitary wipes are all dried out. The weights are all missing. There is no fan. 4 out of 6 bulbs are burnt out. I would be too embarrassed to allow guests into this gym under these conditions if it was my hotel. Hotel DID accomodate my request for a late check-out. I am thankful for that. Small things: - there was no soap I had to ask for it. They told me to come down and get it - there was no coffee cups. I had to go and get to styrofoam cups when I grabbed my soap 2 days later I asked for more coffee, they gave me 2 more pods (I had 3 more nights there). They did not give me more disposable cups. -the rain has more water pressure than the shower - the tap is messed up and is very difficult to shut off the water completely in the tub

This was probably the worst hotel I’ve ever been to in my life.. I recommend that anyone thinking of staying here, finds another hotel.. the service was terrible.. the worker (man) was racist and harassing my guests for no reason.. the workers are unprofessional and had attitude towards their costumers.. honestly there are a lot of amazing hotels in the GTA that are inexpensive and way better than this one.. Also, there was a hole in our wall in the room and our bed wasn’t properly cleaned. Usually I don’t write reviews nor am I picky but this was absolutely ridiculous.

Had a wonderful time at Holiday Inn & Suites Mississauga West - Meadowvale! The room was cozy and clean, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast spread was delicious and had a variety of options. Great location with shopping and dining nearby. Highly recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay!

The room is way too cold. Everyone woke up with a cold and we had 2 toddlers with us. Everyone was sick and it ruined our vacation. The couch that turns into a bed is really really bad. You can feel the metal under you the whole time. I wish we didn't come to this hotel. We Strongly don't recommend.

Just to let you guys know that I booked a room there yesterday through booking.com and made a special request to check in at 10am and when i get there the guy at the front desk I guess his name was Ali told me that I can’t check in at 10am and told me to either come back at 3pm or to pay $30 more to check at 10am it was mentioned nowhere that i have to pay $30 if I’m checking in before 3pm. And then I requested for a supervisor the guy at front desk said I’m the supervisor i said okay then I wanna talk to manager about the issue he said there’s no manager for morning shift & the manager will come during the afternoon. I attached the copy of my receipt in the review so all the customers will be aware of hidden charges. I have no problem paying $30 more, but they should let me know that if you’re checking in before 3pm you have to pay $30 more. And one more thing if we can’t check in before 3pm why are they providing us with special requests column and the option to check in before 3pm while booking a room, without proper information about the extra charges.

Needs to review room security protocols. Had a stranger open the room door twice in the middle of the night while my children slept right inside. Calling a name, trying repeatedly to get past the security latch. Partly my fault because I forgot to deadbolt the door, but why did this guy have a key to our room??? This is not okay. Place needs some serious money put into repairs and maintenance. Stuff falling off the walls, the pool was very dirty and greenish in color, no towels available and getting them from the front desk was like pulling teeth. Would not recommend and definitely will not stay there again

Location is good and overall the hotel was nice. My room on the other hand was not. The fridge made a high pitch whine all night amd there was no way to control the temperature of the room no matter what I did.

Been to nicer Holiday Inn locations. This one is not too terrible but you can tell it’s getting overdue for a refresh. Wear and tear is apparent all over. For a one night stay it’s alright but for anything longer I would consider looking at other options. Staff during our stay were friendly.

The hotel needs lots of renovation. The front Staff are not very helpful. I was assigned a room smaller than what was paid, then had to wait an hour to get into the right room. The ceiling was leaking from a flood, on of the two elevator was out of service, the breakfast was only complimentary for one, and they wouldn't give my wife or my 1 yr old and complimentary breakfast. The rooms had very old carpets, and smelled. The washroom tub had silverfish room 418. Overall really terrible stay

Hotel was clean there web site was misleading said there was a full service resturant with bar upon arrival we were told its a breakfest only and no bar Pool was dirty and hot tub broken No microwave in room.... The staff was very friendly

Pool and hot tub needs to be painted it's not very pleasant looking at chipped up paint in a pool. I never swam. Was with my significant other and in the work out room the bike was to high and couldn't be adjusted. Only one treadmill was working out of the two available. Water was leaking from the ceiling in a bin in the middle of the walk way of the pool and gym. No microwave available in rooms. Paid for breakfast included not much options available. I will never stay there again but the room was pretty clean

Charges $40 for early entrance, pool needs a little attention, depending on who is working front desk you can get amazing customer service to I really don’t want to work here . Raj and Ali are very helpful and a young lady who works night shift. Breakfast is extra here … other locations breakfast is provided with stay. The room is nice but I did notice the washroom needs attention -under the sink was very dusty and in the corners of the washroom wasn’t too appealing. Overall I would still recommend the stay.

We booked it mainly due to its location and the Holiday Inn brand. It was a decent stay but the hotel definitely needs more work. Pros: - Smooth check in and check out - Very helpful staff, at reception as well as cleaning staff - Good parking space - Decent and functional room - Great location Cons: - One of the elevators was not working and wasn't fixed even after three days that we stayed - Rooms can be brighter - Very old feeling - the carpets in the corridor and the overall feel of the hotel We didn't try their paid breakfast so can't comment on that. Having said that, it's still a decent stay. Though I'd keep it as last option.

Terrible service. I booked this hotel with the intention of a day stay to have a place to rest while I waited for my flight. When I called the hotel within 5 minutes of making the reservation to ask if they had early check-in they said they had no rooms. When I asked for a refund they said no, and would not even consider my situation. I wasn't even going to stay the night. They did not offer any alternatives, like offering a credit, even offering that I stay in the lobby while a room became available or even offering to contact me if a room became available early. There was no management available, and the staff member refused to contact them. Basically, they took my money and didn't offer to help me in any way.

Stayed there for 3 nights at the end of June with a family of 4. Room was in really bad state. The bath tub was damaged and leaked water into main bedroom area. We were not offered the option to move to a different room. This hotel is in really bad disrepair and needs an urgent uplift. Avoid it. Breakfast and the staff was amazing, though.

The AC went out in high 80°F weather for 2 nights and we tried to switch to another Holiday inn but corporate said the front desk would need to release our booking to them (they're all individually franchised) in order to do that. The person at the front desk wasn't the manager and we had to wait until the next morning to speak to one. When he finally got in, he wasn't available. The assistant refunded our money for 2 of the 5 nights we stayed, but the entire experience was absolutely horrendous. We drove back to the states with no sleep. Do yourself a favor and never trust a Holiday inn anywhere. Corporate just took my complaint and I never heard from them after that. The hotel tried to get us a different room, but each room was dirtier than the other AND the AC was meager in those rooms at best. This is one of the rooms that was offered to us, the toilet was used. Are you particular about COVID-19 safe cleanliness practices? We were too, this hotel claimed to exceed those standards and didn't even meet basic hospitality cleanliness practices.

Service was not up to date, counter staff not listening properly found they are spending most time on mobile. I ask them to update my credit card which was not done . when i call spoke with her they start counter arguments rather than solving the problem . Additionally room service is not good. Iron stand was broken we request them 5 times then it changed. No microwave in room. no housekeeping during your stay No new towel while your stay.. It is better to stay unbranded hotel at least you will get what you pay.......

It's Holiday Inn by name only, lacks service, amenities...bad value for money if you're a family. details matter. 1. Location - forgotten child in industrial park without sidewalks, or walkable amenities. 2. Rooms - shabby, dark, dingy and about 20 years overdue for renovation. 3. Service: Don't bother asking. Friendly staff if you find any, but suffers poor management. It's about self service as an AIRBNB. We got no cleaning, TV, bed, and carpet was decades old. Our family left important items behind, and the manager and housekeeping couldn't get their act together for my courier pick-up, costing me more than my stay. Over a month without response or returning the items, with No apologies. Still waiting....

Very bad hotel. The towels are ALL like old kitchen rags and smell greasy and very grey! Soap bars are thin as paper and only one bar is provided for the entire weekend. When I asked for an extra one, it took 3 phone calls and 30 mins of wait. The staff has an attitude and when I called and they saw my request as trouble. Not interested to help at all. When I checked in, I was told there will not be cleaning service. Very bad experience. A very dirty place, feeling like I stayed in a kitchen instead of a chain hotel.
