Nice park for a relaxing walk in a beautiful serene natural environment. Trails are nice for a walk along the river. There are alot of benches all around the park to sit and relax with your family. There's also a sandy play area for small kids with slides and a few swings. Great spot for BBQ with friends and family, I've seen people fishing in the river as well. There's ample parking space but gets full on nice sunny days on weekends. Overall a great place to relax and spend good time with family.

Easily my top 2 spot in Mississauga for relaxation or walks. River runs along the trail which makes for great unwinding on one of the many park benches along the trail. Great for cycling too. Lots of area for family picnics. Parking is adequate (wheelchair accessible) and there are wheelchair accessible washroom facilities located near the parking lot. Definitely recommend for family to spend here.

Such a beautiful place, mesmerising views, train on river side is awesome. In fall the colors of trees is camputuring your eyes. Awesome place for hangouts with friends & family. You can do barbecue here, picnic party here. Play with your kidz, Picnic shade area so rain can not spoil your plan, if you lucky enough to get that area on weekends.

Hello nature lovers, this conservation area is beautiful, lush, peaceful and absolutely safe place for your daily walks. I know every corners of this trail as I am coming since last 2 summers. The trail will surprise you with different paths and its habitats. Best time to visit early morning or late evening, though you will see visitors throughout the day. 3 - 4 entry points with car parkings. This place is must visit for photographer and fishing lovers. Cheers Happy trailing!

July, the height of summer. Escaped into this oasis filled with greenery and natural flora & fauna. Located at the centre of buzzing city life. Mark this park for your next summer visit. Laze in the grass under the shade of a huge tree and count the passing clouds. Listen to Credit River flowing by. Rejuvenate with nature therapy.

You know what really makes this park special? The wildlife! You'll see all kinds of critters scampering about, from friendly squirrels to mischievous raccoons. And don't even get me started on the ducks - they're the real stars of the show. These feathered friends are always up for a good time, paddling around in the ponds and quacking up a storm. And let's not forget the people-watching. Whether you're into joggers, dog-walkers, or just folks out for a leisurely stroll, this park has it all. It's a veritable smorgasbord of humanity, and you never know what you might see. So if you're looking for a place to unwind, get some fresh air, and maybe even have a few laughs, this park is the perfect spot. Just be sure to bring your sense of humor - those ducks can be pretty quackers!

We've been coming here for about 10 years and we always have a good time! Whether it's for a picnic, ice cream truck treat, walk/run, bike/scooter ride or just to chill out on the grass and enjoy the views... there's lots of things to do there and plenty of space, especially for kids (and dogs too)! Well maintained park with picnic tables and plenty of parking spaces (go earlier on weekends or summertime as it does get busy).

It was my first time visiting, Amazing park! Lots of things to check out here, great walking trails. You can walk next to the Credit river, BBQ next to it, or just chill and enjoy the scenery. I saw people fishing too. Amazing spaces to picnic and just relax and enjoy. Plenty of benches and I think I saw grills built in for some bbqs not sure but saw people brought their own as well. Ample parking space too. Only went for about an hour or so but I’m sure I still missed out on other sections of the park it’s huge. Beautiful place. Must go if your coming to Mississauga for sure.

August 2023 5* Visited the place with kids for kite flying. The place is popular picnic spot and there is big ground for many activities. There is kids playing area. You can walk along the river side and experience the nature beauty. There is parking inside the park. The place is busy during afternoon time. There is shaded areas around the park. You can plan football or flying kite in the park.

If you looking for a peaceful calming walk alone a river's edge then this is the right walk for you. Packed level path, good for walkers or wheelchairs but you have to deal with inclines when entering and exiting the trail and may need assistance. Easily get in your 10,000 steps. Go to the right of the bridge and onto the path. Lots of picnic benches and areas to spread out in the park but not so much along the river walk.

Visited the place on good sunny day with family. It is nice park along the riverside and has long beautiful trek. Enjoy the walk on the riverside and can enjoy picnic in the huge park. There is plenty of parking places but can be busy on weekend. Lots of activities for kids. Toilet was not very clean but we noticed that cleaning staff were doing their best.. so people need to play their role.

Erindale Park is a hidden gem nestled in Mississauga. This picturesque oasis is a perfect escape from the bustling city life. The park's lush greenery, meandering trails, and stunning views of the Credit River create a serene and calming ambiance. Whether you're looking for a peaceful walk, a family picnic, or a spot to connect with nature, Erindale Park has it all. The riverbank is an ideal spot for relaxation, and the sound of flowing water creates a soothing atmosphere. I’m deducting one star cause of the parking spots are not ample and not enough for high numbers visitor, plus, the park provides few washroom facilities. Overall, Erindale Park is a haven of tranquility that offers a much-needed respite from the daily grind. I highly recommend a visit to this enchanting park—it's nature's gift to Mississauga!

A really nice place to visit, you can do a lot of activities here, like trails, fishing, biking, picnic with your family and friends, play ball games or just relax. If you have kids they will definite love it here. It's best to bring your own food as restaurants are a little bit far from the picnic area but there are also vendors that you can buy from like hotdogs and icecream. We found a place to buy and eat our food inside university of toronto.

It’s mid September and the Salmon are starting to run. This fisherman let me take his picture with his salmon catch today (Chinook?). If we get rain this week next weekend will be great viewing. Great park with clean washrooms, great flat walkable trails (1/2 hour walk from Dundas to Burnhamthorpe overpass). The sound of the fast water and heavily treed trail makes you forget you are in the GTA. There are tons of open spaces and picnic benches to spread out and have a picnic. Lots of parking as well. Be sure to stop and visit the hot dog lady near the washrooms or the ice cream truck.

Walking at this park is beautiful. Trees displaying the colors of season, walking on the trail by the river, and fresh cool breeze makes the experience enjoyable. Trail is nice and well maintained. Plenty of grassy fields for the kids to play and run around. There's also a play area for kids with swings and slides. Lots of people do BBQs and picnics here... something I look forward to doing here one day because we mainly go here for a walk only. I've also seen many people fishing here. Car parking is free which is a bonus.

Huge park which is well maintained and kept quite clean. Couple of fishing spots. Biking and hiking trails which are quite long. The park is extremely busy in summer. Sometimes very hard to find parking. Go early to get good picnic spots. Good park for large groups as ample of open space. Bring your own gazebo / shade.

This is a nice park in Mississauga, and a great weekend picnic park. There are lots of picnic spots that do not require booking in advance. Lots of bbq spots. A nice scenic place for long walks and plenty of space to play all sorts of games. There were a lot of wasps. So taking some sort of insect repellent will help.

One of the most beautiful parks near Missisauga. Thick green during summers, it has a play area, picnic spots and clean washrooms. The trail is beautiful. A serene stream runs along the trail. if it has not rained the water will be clear and pleasant to sit by. You may find good spots to dip your feet in the water. If you have an eye for flora and fauna you will see beautiful flowers during the season. Parking on weekends, in the evening can be a problem. If you are planning on going too close to the stream, beware of leaches. Take your mosquito repellent with you if you plan on sitting by the lush green bushes.

Beautiful views. Multiple different trails to walk through. Tons of space to grill, sit down and enjoy the views, or hangout with friends and family. You can reserve the covered areas for large parties or special events. Tons of parking available around the area. Small hot dog and ice cream stands in the parking lot are also available.

We go hiking and dog walking to this park quite often. There are picnic tables and you find families having barbecues and picnics on the open grounds Path adjoining the river is very refreshing due to the sound of flowing water . Sometimes you will see deer as well . City has maintained the Forest outlook as well If you walk more to the north along the river you will reach Riverwood park

Nature’s abode in Mississauga. Awesome long trail along the river bank. Has parking and toilets on entry. Watch the salmon during fall but I’m not a fan of fishing them because I believe that it interrupts their breeding cycle. Even if we release the fishes after catching them, we don’t know what kind of survival hormones (stress/fight/flight hormones) gets generated in their bodies which can affect not only them but also future generations. Let’s Eat the ones that are available in the market caught from the ocean.

Another amazing green space in Mississauga. The perfect place to picnic with lots of trails and beautiful views along the Credit River. Plenty of space for kids to run around and wheelchair and bike friendly.

Beautiful grounds! Spacious green space with paths and access to the river. A great place for a family visit! Just note that on days of a large event, there is a shortage of parking for those who drive in. You may need to wait for a parking spot. Of course we pick the country’s birthday to have a family picnic. A great place to escape to the beautiful outdoors. Happy Canada Day!

It was so busy today and the parking was full. We had to wait in line for a long time to get out of the park and later on only they display a sign saying parking was full. We had to park another place and walk to the park. But glad we did that as I got some great photos. A lot of folks were fishing and we were lucky to observe one of them catching a big fish and of course they let it go later on.

Beautiful park perfect for family and friends. The trail by the river is just beautiful. The park is home to some wild animals like deer, birds, etc. It is definitely a place to check out in Missisauga.

Enjoy outdoor activities at Mississauga’s largest park. Use the trails for views of the Credit River and ravines, and for bird and nature watching. You can also fish for salmon or trout in the river. A tobogganing hill is available in the winter. This 222-acre park offers a playground, picnic areas, grills, trails, a toboggan hill & more. Amenities: Dogs allowed. Good for kids. Picnic tables. Public restroom. Slides. Swings.

Erindale Park is huge enough for you to stay hours. The views are so amazing in this autumn. Colorful foliage along the creek has made Erindale park a beautiful paining. It is good place for family and friends event. Parking is big but better arrive before 10am.

  • 5/5 Sanatana I. 1 year ago on Google
Nice hike spot. Not as busy as Humber trail or some other Toronto trail on the day we went. You can do more than 10 kms hike or bike or run. I would recommend mountain bike as it’s bare trail and not paved. The trail goes along the credit river and you can enjoy salmon run during October and September. There were lot of anglers in the river and wildlife to see. Plenty of parking spots at the main entrance and wide open grass field for pic ice and games. There were also benches peppered all over the trail for rest and enjoy the view from your walk or hike. Don’t hesitate to go there anytime. Enjoy.

Went for the first time to take the kids tobogganing. They had a good time. The hill wasn't very steep so they could go down on their own. There was lots of parking. Only issue is the posts and benches that obstructed the tobogganing path. Some kids bump into one of the posts a few times.
