The room was incredible. Loved the executive double queen with a separate tv room. The pool slide being out of commission was a REAL downer for us. Especially since I called and asked about it before booking. Only to find out on arrival that it's been down for YEARS. The pool was so cloudy we didn't even go in. The hot tub was completely drained and no idea when it will be fixed. It feels like pretty false advertising to have the pool slide so prominent in the photos when it's not been functional for years and not telling us when we called was really terrible. We are local and booked a hotel specifically for a fun time swimming with the kids, and this is a huge disappointment. We're making the best of it in the great room, but we could have done that at home. I wish we booked the Hilton. It was close to the same price. We had a good experience at the Sandman in Vancouver recently, so stuck with Sandman for this trip. I regret the brand loyalty now.

Located close to the airport, on the corner of a busy intersection. I stayed on the 5th floor, lots of noise from traffic, especially trucks throughout the night. The rooms do not have good lighting. There are no light fixtures on the ceiling. Only light sources are from the tabletop lamps. I opted to not have any housekeeping during my 4 night stay, so can't comment on that, other than I did find my room and bathroom clean. There is a bar near the lobby. Somehow the bar and front desk don't communicate, and I was unable to have a drink one night when the bar had already done last call. There is a 24/7 Denny's attached to the hotel. Good place to grab a quick breakfast. There is free coffee in the lobby supplied by Denny's, so I'd recommend not paying out of pocket for coffee at Denny's.

4 night stay at the Sandman with my 4 kids and we really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and quick to respond to requests, the rooms were clean, so was the lobby area, gym and pool. The pool was a game changer for my kids, they really enjoyed it even though access to the slide was prohibited. The Denny's restaurant on ground floor was also a nice touch although it could have been better. The seats in the restaurant are old and torn. The service is a 3/5. The servers are quite slow even though the restaurant is empty and when asked to bring water they simply don't. There was also a lot of items on the menu that they didn't serve saying they had sold out on particular items. On a positive note, the food they did have was delicious. My kids enjoyed every meal they had and tried a lot of variety on the menu. The room service was also a really positive side to the restaurant, it was fast, cooked perfectly and sent with care to our room. Easy to eat in cardboard boxes with condiments and cutlery.

This hotel clearly deserves a major refresh. It looks old and outdated (like someone mentioned in the comments section, don't trust the pictures. We can do miracles with Photoshop). When you rent a "suite", you expect to have something of a certain standard and it's all about the details. The upholstery, carpeting and furniture are aging. The room is clearly not bright enough, even with all the lights on. And when you leave the hotel, not a word from the reception to know how your stay went... very ordinary in my opinion...

The hotel itself is beautiful, and kept very clean. Also, the location is great, however the staff member I was dealing with had very bad communication skills and they did not let us know about certain charges. After I left I asked about the charged that I didn’t consent to and they apologized that we weren’t told (because I’m used to all hotels letting you know), but offered no refund. They even admitted that they should have let us know about charges but again offered no refund to an additional $35 I did not consent to. This is a great hotel to stay just make sure you don’t have any medical emergency in the morning because if you stay even just an hour and 15 past checkout you’ll be charged $40 and you’ll also experience staff repeatedly knocking on your door even after you’ve gotten approval from front desk. Not the best place to stay in terms of being accommodating or polite to customers.

The best thing about this place was Louie in the lounge. He was an excellent server, made wonderful recommendations and provided excellent, friendly, efficient service. The food was delicious that he recommended and he made our stay. One of the truly super servers left. Five stars for that! The rest however was not so good. Arrived very late after delayed flight. Shuttled took almost an hour and then when we got to our room, the toilet had used toilet paper in the bowl, the paper dispenser was broken so the toilet paper kept falling off, floor had someone's hair on it, duvet had black dirty on it and there was a pubic hair on the toilet. I had to sanitize the toilet before I could even use it. The staff were helpful in dealing with the issue but I would not recommend this hotel but I would go back for dinner in the lounge hopefully getting Louie as a server!

Enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean and check-in and out where easy. The only complaint is the quality of their mattress. It's seen better days and felt as though the springs in the box spring may have been broken. It was an extremely soft mattress because of this (and I love a super soft mattress but this was not normal lol).

It’s a pretty nice property and staff are friendly. Free shuttle also helps but they should have a coffee set up all day including hot water which was only in the morning. Overall pretty nice hotel. Note: Nice lobby bar but connected to a Dennys restaurant. They could do better for an on site restaurant

Spacious rooms and quiet even though it is located close to Pearson Airport. Pool and whirlpool are heated and very large. There are on site restaurants, and also a multilevel parking garage. I stayed during a blizzard and the garage protected my car from the snow. There was only 1 elevator working with a maximum capacity of 5, so the wait was very long. Rooms had microwave and fridge.

Recently stayed at this hotel while on a connection flight. Hotel located near the airport. Hotel is newly renovated, clean, very comfortable. Shuttle services is a mess. I called as soon as I exited the plane, we were told there would be a van there at 740pm and told to look for a white van with decals on it. We got at the pick up location at 715pm. We waited over an hour at designated location at the airport (R3). We called three times and was told each times to look for a white van with decals on it that said SANDMAN. After the third time calling, they said someome would be there in 5 minutes. Finally, a young man arrived in a black van with no decals, small sign on front windshield. The next morning while checking out, I went at the front desk, asked the employee for in-lobby-coffee, to which he replied "we are not offering coffee today". First time I hear of a hotel not offering a coffee at the front lobby on a certain day? Really strange.

For most things my stay at Sandman Mississauga was stay was pretty standard. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Wifi was strong enough for Zoom Calls. The hotel was close to the 401 for easy access. However I had a few issues during my stay that would make me think twice on staying at Sandman Mississauga again. Room Key: After 8 hours of travelling I am tired so I arrive at the hotel, check in, go to my room and the key does not work. Go back to the front desk with all my stuff wait for the counter person to free up. Get told to go back up to the room and someone will be there shortly to help out. Standing in the hallway outside my room for a couple of minutes someone shows up to take a look. 15 to 20 minutes later he is not able to get the key card thing to work so he uses a master key to open the door. I am told maintenance will come by and fix the problem tomorrow and if I need to get in or out of the room I should ask the front desk. The problem was fixed the next day but waiting at the counter to ask to be let into the room was a pain. Not sure why I was not just assigned a different room when they had the key card issue is beyond me. Smoke Detector: Smoke detector was missing in the room. The mounting unit and wires were there but no smoke detector. I showed the counter person when they let me know the room (no key card access). “I will let maintenance know and they will take care of it.” I was there 4 days no smoke detector in the room. Car Break In: The first night my car was broken into in the hotel parking lot. Nothing was in the car to steal. However the thieves damaged the door handle on my car so the car would no longer lock. I was unable to find a place to fix it so the rest of my trip my car unlocked. When I asked if there were security camera’s or anything in the parking lot. The answer was not where I parked. The hotel entrance/exits had cameras but the parking lot does not.

Sandman hotel is close to the airport - great location. They also offer an airport shuttle that takes you directly to the airport for free. We left our car at the hotel for 3 nights and it cost 15$/day. The rooms are basic. There was only 1 overhead light in our room and 4-5 lamps that we turned on for adequate light. There are stains on the walls, and chips/dents in most of the furniture. There was a coffee maker but no complimentary water. Overall, good stay for one night and travel to the airport. Would I stay more than 1 night, probably not. The bar on the main level looked really cute! We didn’t go but there were many guests having cocktails

Front desk was amazing, but probably worst management ever. Left a pair of sunglasses in the room so I emailed the Sandman with no response. When I called they acknowledged my emails and said it was too late the room was occupied even though I emailed as soon as I checked out. As well they need to clean in between guests, interesting?? Anyway Management was very ignorant and I wouldn't suggest staying here but some of the front desk staff were amazing.

A very well-kept hotel. Booking in advance was awesome. Rooms were perfect, which included a little TV room with microwave, fridge. Beds are very comfortable. The downfall is that the ice machine is located on every third floor and the rooms aren't very sound proff.

Staff were very nice and respectful. We utilized the additional pet fee to bring our dog, which was great for us. I'm glad there are no weight restrictions or any other type of pet restriction. Two things about our stay that I disliked was that we couldn't order a drink at the bar and take it up to our room. As well, we left a bathroom bag in our room and weren't given a call about the missed item. Overall, I highly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Typically our experience with Sandman has been positive but on this occasion, several things went wrong. First, we called for a shuttle, were told it would arrive at 6:35pm. I called back at 6:50pm and was told there was miscommunication. Not sure how seeing that it's on a regular schedule. Second, Room 702 was so hot, at 26C, and the air conditioner did not seem to work. We requested to change rooms. We were given Room 302, which was cooler but the carpets were stained. Also, the outlets attached to the bedside lamps do not charge once you turn off the light. You have to unscrew the bulb. I've mentioned this on several occasions. The bar restaurant menu continues to lose items that we've come to enjoy. This time, there were no wings available. Finally, I never seem to get my invoice emailed to me. I have to call to have the invoice resent.

The room itself was great, but the dining options are extremely limited. The lounge bar was closed at lunchtime and the only other option was Denny's which I really don't regard as an option for anything other than breakfast. As I was part of a conference and we often had quite short lunch breaks it left us with very limited options. I'm sure the location is convenient if you really are just overnighting from the airport, but for a conference it wasn't good - not even a convenience store nearby.

My stay at this hotel was uncomfortable. The rooms were awful. Everything LOOKS nice in photos until you get there and the rooms smell, the carpets are lifting, the windows are disgusting, the bathrooms smell of mold, the couches are STAINED and the shower heads are caked in grime. The pool was cloudy and burned my skin and their slide is closed indefinitely. They compensated my first night and moved our rooms due to finding a dirty towel in the closet and a cigarette hole in the bed sheet in a non-smoking room. Yet the second room was not any better. Oh, and their "suites" have sliding glass doors that pinch your fingers, don't give any real privacy and are hazards if you bring children. Even the bathrooms inside the Denny's were very unkempt. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Please spend the little extra money to stay elsewhere.

Very nice & clean hotel. Staff was very friendly. The shuttle driver was such a pleasant person to talk to. The only complaint I have is that I stayed on the 2nd floor and the ice machines are on floor 3,6 and 9. Of course none but the one on floor 9 worked. Besides that everything else was well. I’d definitely stay here again.

The headline - I stayed here as a solo business traveller for 5 nights in June 2023. Generally underwhelmed and I would not return if I had the choice. Check-in was smooth although oddly the person at reception was questioning me on my travel documents and trying to give me some rather inaccurate and unhelpful visa advice. I had very little other interaction with the front of house team. The housekeeping team were very friendly. There was a small bar area adjacent to the reception which looked nice although I did not eat or drink here. There is no breakfast at the hotel. You are advised to visit the 24h Denny's next door. The Denny's was not a good experience, even a morning coffee was a struggle. I stayed in a Standard Suite which was of a decent size. Unfortunately, it was dated and dim. Apart from a small hallway light and a desk lamp, there was no other lighting in the main living space. The in room amenities were ok. A coffee machine, fridge, hair dryer and a rather poor ironing board and iron. The desk was adequate and had a power strip. The wardrobe had seen better days and proved very difficult to use. One of the sliding doors had come off its rails and therefore did not open / close without some effort. The bed was comfortable and they provided a range of pillows which were soft or firm. I used the "gym" at the hotel which was extremely basic and could really do with a refurb. There were missing free weights so you either had 1 of each weight or missing the entire set completely. The multipurpose gym machine was missing the weight pin so you could not adjust or set a weight. There did not seem to be anyone manning or watching the space. One evening I had 2 'kids' aged approx. 12 running around and trying the various machines and causing disruption. There was plenty of parking and I never had any issues getting a space.

This was our first corporate stay with Sandman, and we were beyond happy with the rooms, service and location. Big thanks to Louisa who provided exceptional customer service: she helped us complete our booking, ensured our check in process was smooth for us and employees, and even left a welcome package and handwritten note. We are thrilled to have Sandman as our preferred hotel, and are looking forward to returning to Mississauga for our next business trip.

I had a great stay at Sandman Signature Mississauga Hotel! The room was cozy and well-equipped, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. The on-site amenities, including the pool and fitness center, added to the overall positive experience. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

I have stayed here twice already. I will say both times give me great experiences. The staff was great and extremely supportive. But one of the staff who was really stand out was Alvin. I was really in need of a scale to weigh my luggage (because i have a flight the next day) so i asked the staff if they have one for me to use. Fortunate enough i asked Alvin who first guided me to the scale in the gym then later finding one for me. He was really friendly and eager to help. So thank you, Alvin and thank you, Sandman Hotel for this wonderful experience.

The rooms are fantastic. Nice views. The only thing missing is a jacuzzi tub! But that's not really necessary. The bathroom is huge and I love the fact that they have a lighted magnifying mirror on the wall in there too.

  • 4/5 Sherri B. 5 months ago on Google
The room was spacious, well-decorated, and clean. There is both a Denny's and a bar that also serves food, so there are options for dining within the hotel. There are also other options nearby.

Nice hotel with very large rooms close to the airport. I was surprised to have a room with both a bedroom and lounge. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only issue were the outside of the windows look like they had not been clean in a long time. It was has to see out side the were so dirty. Also any metal fixtures in the bathroom were rusting. It was a large clean room for a fair price.

  • 4/5 Michele W. 4 months ago on Google
Service at the front desk was amazing. I needed parking for a week and know that the GTA was having significant auto theft issues. I phoned the hotel and they suggested buying the club which I did. Fingers crossed the car is there when I get back. There is also cameras a security that passes through the parkade from time to time. It’s a big hotel and the room was clean and smelled good. The only issue was lighting in the room. We arrived at night and there were limited lamps which made it difficult to see. I would suggest a better desk lamp the light up the living room. A bit farther from the airport than I am used to but the early morning shuttle was on time and no issues.

Decent rooms, definitely older hotel rooms that got a splash of paint based on the thick popcorn ceilings. Really annoying that there's no lights in the rooms other than lamps. Stayed in a suite with a stove, had decent cooking utensils, would be nice if they had basic stuff like salt, pepper, and oil. Staff were super nice and attentive. The cleaners were all wonderful. The gym was severely lacking. For dumbells they were all very random sizes - 3 sets of 20 pounds, one set of 45s, 50s, and 65's was the highest. There were two cable machines but only one pin so only one person could use either at a time. The gym is sufficient if you're the only one working out in there. Overall a decent hotel

It is a very nice property at a great location, however, I had multiple service issues with the hotel and I shared my experience with the manager who saved the day with her exceptional service otherwise I had decided I would never return to any Sandman hotel. The staff needs to be trained so that no manager's intervention is required in the future and the service delivery is guaranteed. Because of her service, I would return to the hotel but I expect the staff to be trained better.

If they give you room 1104, ask if the AC/heat is fixed or not. I stayed for five nights, the first night was in 1104 with the AC constantly switching between heating and cooling (by cooling i mean blowing very cold air) even though heating mode was selected. Talked to the front desk who tried to convince me that that's how Air conditionning is supposed to work to keep a constant temperature in the room!!! and told me that it's the same thing in all the hotel rooms, and asked me to not touch the controls/thermostat any more!!!???!!! Strange!!!#$@% Finally, they gave me another room which was warm and nice after spending one unconfortable night with that unpleasant intermittent hot and then freezing cold air while it's subzero outside. Obviously the AC control panel in that first room was wired in a wrong way. So, in case you get a room with the same AC problems, obviously it is not supposed to be like that, and no, not all the rooms in the hotel are like that. And yes you can touch and use the control panel/thermostat because it is made for that. No complaints other than this. Room was nicely furnished, spacious and clean.

We love to stay here, is our go to hotel in the area. Friendly staff, super comfortable, clean rooms. Unfortunately the pool was really cold this time and our kids were disappointed.

  • 1/5 Brandon H. 2 years ago on Google
My family and I booked this hotel specifically because it had a big pool slide for our kids , when we got there we were disappointed to find out it was out of service , if we had known that before hand we would have booked elsewhere . This was our first time in a sandman hotel , the room itself was a bit cramped and the furniture was all banged up and falling apart . There were holes in the walls from door handles and the shower ceiling was all cracked and crumbling. The swimming pool was ice cold to the point you can’t swim in it. The staff were very nice and polite . The Denny’s attached had horrible service and way overpriced .

  • 2/5 Martha M. 2 years ago on Google
There were stains and marks all along the walls in the main sitting room as well as on the sofa, and what looked like pet urine splatter on the baseboard said room. The bathroom shower walls were imbedded with orange soap scum as well as the soap dish. I could not shower because I was grossed out by this. It’s not possible to relax and enjoy your stay when you feel your hotel room is dirty!. I will not stay here again if I can avoid it. I will try to post some pics here.

  • 5/5 S B. 2 years ago on Google
My stay was great. The hotel is really beautiful inside..my room was nice and spacious. However, the standup shower has only half a glass door so the bathroom floor would always get wet. Not a huge deal. Elevators are super fast, free parking onsite and surrounded by lots of places to eat.

  • 3/5 Jamie T. 2 years ago on Google
We stayed here for a week as they have rooms with kitchens and our house was up for sale doing a lot of showings. We came because it was a pet friendly hotel however here that means you are on the 2nd floor (in the more run down rooms) where the halls smell like weed and cigarettes and the rooms aren't so clean. We were on that floor for about 3 days and complained twice, on the third complaint they moved us to floor 5 which the room was MUCH cleaner and the halls only smelt like weed and cigarettes come the weekend. We probably picked the wrong location for the sandman hotels.

I can't say enough good things about my stay at this hotel. I genuinely enjoyed my time there. The staff were super friendly, and very helpful. They were also very accommodating. The room was spacious and clean. The cleaning staff were also very helpful. My kids and I had a wonderful time here, and I would definitely recommend this hotel for a great experience.

We booked this hotel when we traveled to the East because of its closeness to the Toronto Pearson Airport. We liked that its location is central and close to various dining and shopping. The hotel has a lounge (Lobby) and a restaurant (Denny's) in the same building which is nice if you don't want to drive out. It also has a strip mall across the street with lots of dining options. The hotel is good for its value but We were not really impressed with the rooms (especially the bathrooms)... need some renovations for sure!

Actually a really nice hotel. It was really cheap yet beautiful. I would go back there again just to relax. We were 5 in the room for 6. It definitely felt tight. I think (even if there is a sofa bed) we would of felt more comfortable at 4 because then we would of got the chance to move a little bit more. But for a place to sleep while traveling, this was perfect!

My stay with the Sandman Hotel in Mississauga was nothing short of amazing. Firstly, the staff was very welcoming and very kind. They went out of their way to get me anything I needed. The check in process was very smooth. The room was a nice size, and very clean. The property was also very well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel!

  • 1/5 Brenda L. 2 years ago on Google
The size of the room was great and the beds were very comfy, but… the rain shower did not work in the shower, the main room curtains were completely water stained likely due to the amount of humidity in the room and the window ledges were full of black mold. The smell of “pot” smoking was noticeable during the day and actually woke us up at 3 a.m. in the morning. We called and mentioned this to the desk clerk but the next day the smell continued. I would not advise this hotel to anyone with allergies!

We have stayed here several times. As a couple, waiting for an early flight and as a family. We were very satisfied each time. The changes to the lighting in the bar/lounge made the atmosphere more welcoming. We had our first drinks there a couple weeks ago. Lui provided excellent service and made a lovely martini!

Beautifully appointed room with many surprising amenities. Kitchenette was nice! Bed was comfortable, linens were great, but pillows are way too high. My neck was twisted all night which made it almost impossible to sleep. 4 pillows are nice, but they’re all exactly the same. Suggest 2 high & 2 low for different style sleepers. Noisy road traffic didn’t help sleeping either. Staff was very friendly and helpful and very handy having a 24 hr Denny’s right in the building for our 4:30am breakfast.

We had a 2 day stay for a canine surgical procedure. Informed they staff ahead that we would be bringing our dog with us. We were easily accommodated. a small and reasonable surcharge for the pet was added which was fine. The room was spacious enough for us and our dog along with his crate. Staff were efficient and friendly. Overall very happy with the hotel. Will recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Really happy with the experience , I've stayed at this hotel a few times and have been happy with it. Rooms are fancy and clean , rates are reasonable with no hidden fees. In particular this experience was different though as I was unfortunately neighbors with someone who decided to smoke at 3 in the morning which made my first sleep poor , that being said the excellent service provided me with a different room the following morning and a discount which was in line with my previous experiences overall great hotel !

Your hotel is lovely. The rooms and amenities are very well appointed. The prices at the bar were very reasonable for both the food and drinks. The hotel stay and parking was an excellent deal. Some of our group of 10 have already booked with you for the hotel stay and parking.

Excellent personalized top of the notch service! Monique at the front desk was amazing. I changed my reservation last minute and she made sure that I was in the room that I wanted. Lui at the Lobby Lounge took very good care of us from the first day to the last. He went above and beyond to keep us fed, glass was always full and we were entertained. Felt like he was catering to us only. Sherri at Denny's felt like our personal waitress and photographer. Kudos to the entire team for making us feel welcome and comfortable.

The room is spacious and very nicely laid out. There is a separate seating area with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. This area is, however, poorly lit. The beds are very comfortable with a choice of pillows. The bathroom shower faucet was in need of repair. I reported it and the clerk at the front desk took note. The towels are fluffy and the toiletries are good quality. We used the park and fly option. It was very convenient.

The hotel was great staying here. Staff was great and so was the location. Unfortunately downside was .. there was constant cigarette smells coming into our hotel room. It was just super off-putting. But other than that everything about this hotel is great. The dennys was a nice touch.

I enjoyed my stay there for 5 nights. The king suit is spacious and the bed was so comfortable. Only complaint is that the shower doesn’t have a glass door or a curtain and the water will splash out and you will need to wipe it down.

We booked a room at the sandman very last minute. When we got there the room was not up to our expectations. Farhan at the front desk helped us change our reservation and he was the greatest help. He was very understanding of our situation and did the best he could from his side to make sure we had the best experience of sandman. We were very pleased with our stay and will definitely book again.

I had booked 7 rooms for my colleagues and their spouses at either end of a week long business trip to the Caribbean. The facility received high praise from the whole contingent with location, onsite reasonably priced long term parking, room size, comfort, cleanliness, meal options & quality and the airport shuttle's efficiency as key factors of their satisfaction. However the highest praise was directed towards the staff encountered who helped to make the "book ends" of their trip very comfortable. Thanks to the Sandman Signature Mississauga team and to Louisa & Kiki for making me look good!
