A
year
ago,
my
partner
and
I
booked
the
hotel,
primarily
because
it
listed
an
indoor
pool
on
hotels.com
and
were
informed
upon
check
in
that
the
pool
was
outdoor
but
we
were
permitted
to
use
the
pool
across
the
street.
Given
the
fact
that
we
checked
in
the
night
of
a
winter
storm,
the
idea
of
crossing
the
street
to
go
swimming
and
return
wet
in
subzero
temperatures
was
laughable
at
least
and
offensive
at
worst.
It
was
definitely
false
advertising.
Upon
proceeding
to
our
King
deluxe
room,
it
reeked
of
spoiled
food
and
at
11
pm
we
were
made
to
traverse
back
and
forth
between
reception
and
the
room
we
were
reassigned
to.
The
new
room
had
a
hot
tub
upgrade,
which
we
appreciated
until
we
realized
the
tub
was
leaking
and
though
we
called
in
the
night
clerk
to
check
the
mechanism,
he
did
not
know
how
to
operate
the
tub,
called
his
manager
on
his
cell
phone
for
direction
but
ultimately
no
solution
was
provided.
The
bathroom
had
significant
mildew
on
the
ceiling
and
I
am
an
allergy
sufferer.
The
breakfast
selection
was
mainly
starch
(bread,
waffles,
pastry).
No
fruit
or
meat
was
offered
or
warm
options
such
as
eggs,
bacon
or
sausage.
