Horribly long wait times for appetizers and main courses. Once you do get your food, it's absolutely horrendous. The drinks were lackluster, the fries were dry and the lobster fettuccine was burnt to a crisp (see photo attached)±. We went here to celebrate multiple birthdays and were disappointed with the overall experience. We had reservations for 8pm were finally served dinner at 11pm, right around when the DJ was well into his mix and everyone was ready for the club.

First time visiting for dinner last Wed and the service and food were amazing! We started with the crispy cauliflower (my friend suggested it and I had never had it before) and they were crazy crispy and addictive. But it was the HOT KOREAN SAUCE THAT BLEW MY MIND. I can't tolerate spice or heat of any kind (I'm a weenie) but this was the first time EVER that I finally understood why people say things can be spicy but also flavorful. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS SAUCE!!! It burns my mouth but it's sooooo good!! I ordered the cajun chicken fettuccine (minus the Cajun part, because, you know, spice! 😬) and asked for a side of the hot Korean sauce instead. Our server was kind enough to indulge me. My friends ordered tacos and those looked delicious too while they indulged my raving about the sauce and slathering it all over my pasta. I asked the chef if I could purchase some sauce (it's made in-house) and the chef kindly gave me some to take home. It was such a generous and unexpected thing to do that we were all thrilled and surprised. THANK YOU!!!! You guys TOTALLY made my week! ❤️ I will definitely be back for more great service and delicious food and TO BUY THIS SAUCE. Everyone needs to come just for the sauce and the hospitality!! I beyond highly recommend this location!!!

Came here a few nights ago with a few friends. First time here. People were pleasant. Overall the experience was good. We ordered calamari and nachos for appetizers. The calamari was good, but I felt the nachos were a bit over done. The chicken was definitely over cooked and our main courses were brought out before we were able to finish our appetizers. I ordered the burger with bacon and fries. Decent burger with good flavour. Service overall was good.

Our se4ver was very attentive, but rushed off his feet. Why wasn't the management helping?. Not enough staff on..food n wine was good.

First time there and it was a horrible experience. There was a long wait time for appetizers, which was somewhat expected as it was busy. I ordered the Margarita pizza and it was not good at all. It was just sauce. The calamari was alright but the sauce the put on top of it ruined it. And for the best part… I ordered truffle fries and they came WET! soggy and WET! Do NOT order their fries!! Fries came in a plate of oil! Very unappetizing.

Food not at all good. Service very average. Our pizza was very over cooked. Cauliflower bites looked like made in anger. Such big pieces of cauliflower. Surely not going again. You can see the pizza pictures for reference.

Super cute location, the inside of the restaurant looks really nice. The outside good use some TLC with comfier seating and nicer tables, but it’s a large restaurant so I understand that can be costly. There are really no vegan options. I got a pizza and asked if I can at least sub the cheese for mushrooms she said she can’t do that and it would $2 extra, I said ok. It’s simple for a chef to create a couple of vegans options would be nice for everyone to enjoy a meal at dinner with their family. I added the green cilantro sprouts myself from my olive appetizer… tried to make it a bit more pretty for myself

Went there last weekend as a group of 5 of us and was seated on the patio. There appetizers were very tasty, full of flavour. We ordered the Nachos, calamari, And Miso lime chicken. Also available are a wide range of drinks, cocktails, wines, etc. Main dishes included seafood, pasta, chicken, pizza, jerk chicken just to name a few. Overall, the food was great, staff were very friendly and accommodating, and ambience of this place is very unique and the name of the establishment is very suitable considering the community and location ! Be sure to check this place out 👍

Terrific staff here along with a really versatile location... a high end look and feel inside the restaurant along with beautiful patio seating means you can cater to nearly any mood for dining here. I would recommend you consider the different sliders for an app. Consider the lobster ravioli and local Port Credit brews as well!

We went for a birthday dinner, for a large group they were very attentive and provided great service. The appetizers and drinks kept coming, and the food arrived all together for the whole group of 20 and correctly. The ambiance and the 🍸 cocktails were perfect. Their bartenders and servers are very knowledgeable on their mixing and recommended good drinks.

Judging by the other reviews, this place seems to be a hit or miss. I went on a weekday for late lunch found ample available seats on the patio, and had an average wait time for food and drinks. The Cajun Chicken Fettuccine might have been a fraction undercooked in a piece or two, but it could have just been the expected texture. Though the portion sizes look small, the large amount of protein makes it filling. For this particular dish it was no more spicy than adding a few chilli flakes to a slice of pizza. Overall, I enjoyed the service and food, but would probably only come here for the daytime service and patio during off hours. Oh, and I believe they also have wifi but you'll have to ask for the password.

Have been a few times over the years but really appreciated it this last time. The food was excellent and also drinks were great. Our server was very sweet and was on top of everything. Highly recommend this place to those who haven’t been. We did not have a reservation and was a Friday night. Had to drop some names just to get seating otherwise wouldn’t have been able to enter which makes no sense to me as there should be no priority in who is seated but worked for our group of three. It is the only reason I give this place a 4 star. Otherwise all was perfect.

Went there for a Flamenco night and liked the vibe. The location is great. Foods were good but the 30+ minutes wait time for our order was quite a bit, might be because it was a music night?

I booked a night with some friends we have not seen in a while hoping to catch up. The photos online looked great and when we arrived we were just as pleased. What started out great took a horrible turn. The food was decent and the pricing was in alignment with what you would expect for similar venues. Here's where it got bad. Shortly after we were seated in the lounge the lights dimmed and we could barely read the menus. Then the background music became so loud we couldn't even talk to the people who we came with. We spoke to our server who was barely present and she mentioned "a lot of people complain, but the manager says it's part of the ambiance". Sure, so I went to the washroom and noticed a small dance floor with approximately 10 people on it. There were 16 people not enjoying their time in the dining room. I would likely not revisit this location again. The location looks great and a lot of potential.

We celebrated a large birthday party at this location on a Saturday night. The service and food were amazing, every item we tried on the party appetizer menu was delicious. Everyone had a wonderful evening and the atmosphere was perfect! Thanks to the team for taking such good care of us 🙏💕

Great tuna wontons, will definitely come back for that dish. Cocktails were great. Veggie burger and fries were not good. Beet salad was good, fish tacos ok. Table service wasn't great but hostesses were nice.

Thanks chef Josh, the food was outstanding. Especially the Korean bbq salmon. The atmosphere and service was inviting and relaxing. ITS JUST OK!! Won’t be back most likely.. We were there celebrating an occasion and it didn’t get off to a great start. We called in to book a table and were told they had lots of tables available.. showed up n were told there was a 45min wait.. finally got seated outside instead.. Food & Drinks were average at best.. Cant speak too much about the ambiance.. service was average too.. nothing here to go gaga over.. perhaps might be a good choice if in the area ..but there are better options.. Wings were terrible.. sliders avoidable.. miso chicken bites were good.. a very unambitious menu tbh.. just meh…

Port House is a nice spot with lovely ambience and friendly staff. Went there for a private event on a Sunday evening. The food was good. I had the lobster bisque and chicken with garlic mashed potatoes. The chicken was a bit overcooked but the flavour and taste was good overall. They offer a good selection of drinks and made me my off the menu cocktail as I requested. I only had to pay for the drinks and they seemed a bit pricey. I liked that the our server proactively informed us that gratuity was already included with the bill. We all had a nice time there. I'd recommend this place!

I went to port house for a friends birthday. It was my first time at the restaurant. It was an exceptionally busy night, and I found our waitresses/server's Sara and Matisse were fantastic: quick, provided great recommendations and charismatic. Food was delicious, drinks were tasty. I enjoyed my time at the restaurant. There was live music at one point- although he was talented it was hard to hear the people around you because we were by the speaker. Lastly, I will add as future note- do not park in the parking lot attached. I Total money scam you cannot adjust the time you park and you can only pay 20 dollars or more- nothing less. Save that money and get an extra drink with that instead.

Shorthand: Cockroaches, understaffed, unprofessional. Full review: A disappointing Friday evening. On arrival we learned that our friend whose birthday we're celebrating booked for a party of 18 - we're now a party of 12 and there is absolutely no room left, we're already seating people outside on the edges of the tables. The server was not helpful nor did they provide an adequate explanation for how 18 would be expected to sit in this booth. Forty minutes ago we killed a cockroach with our drink menu. I wanted to complain about it directly but we haven't seen a server since. The cockroach was disturbing enough to make me almost forget how completely unclean my gnlassware was, which was disappointing enough. I'm writing this review from the restaurant. With all the free time I have between visits from the server. I haven't eaten yet and am honestly unsure if the food is still coming. They might just close the kitchen down and shrug like they did over the matter of our reservation. I haven't been this thoroughly unsatisfied by any restaurant experience before.

This is a pretty safe bet if you’re in the area and looking for drinks but don’t know where you want to go. The ambience inside is great but the patio needs a refresh. The food is quite good and the drinks are really good. However, there have been instances of the restaurant not having multiple items on the menu, and the service has always been slow. Overall, for the price you pay, you may be better off going elsewhere but you won’t have a bad time here if this is where you end up.

Started out well. Nice server, decent enough food. The place was empty. Finished our main course and they decided to blast the music so loud we couldn't speak to each other. We asked them to turn it down. Waited 2-3 minutes and just couldn't take it anymore so we left without dessert. I won't bother going back. Port Credit has enough better restaurants to choose from.

Went for food and drinks with a buddy. Atmosphere when arriving around 7:30pm was what you would expect for a restaurant/bar - music and lots of people about. As the night went on, the atmosphere changed to that of a club. Music was super loud and had to yell to speak and strain to hear and the overhead main lights were dim and there were coloured accent lights. Food was not the greatest. Had calamari and the chicken sandwich. Calamari was presented very well and looked great, but was cold and over fried when it was given to us. for the price, I’d expect more than 10 pieces of over fried squid. I love a good chicken sandwich, and for me, it just didn’t quite hit the mark. So what bland, and again overpriced. Charging above Cactus Club prices for… well, just not great food. On the plus side, service was great and super attentive. Overall, I wouldn’t come back here for food, but if you’re looking for a quick patio beer during the day, or a club-like experience at night, then this may be an option for you.

We had a company event at this location in Port Credit with about 29 guests. Brian, the manager was absolutely amazing. Working with Brian and the staff at The Port House Social Bar & Kitchen was a great experience, very professional, on point, quick and worked very well with last minute requests. The food was AMAZING, the drinks were AMAZING, the service was above and beyond. The bar staff were super friendly, quick and professional even with our group of loud and hungry men! We had a tight schedule with a cocktail hour and apps then dinner and dessert, with times for speeches and awards in between. 6 - 10pm event and I don't have a single complaint! The atmosphere of the upper level for our private event was perfect, not to loud, didn't hear much from the main level, they adjusted the volume of the music for us and everything. Hands down the BEST service and we will 100% be booking future events here. S/O to Brian and the bar, waiters/waitresses staff - you guys are honestly an amazing group of individuals. Thank you for making me look like one amazing event planner!

I recently dined at Port House and was blown away by the overall experience. The food was absolutely delicious - every dish was expertly prepared and full of flavor. The service was top-notch as well; the staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was enjoyable. To top it off, the music playing in the background was the perfect complement to the meal, creating a truly memorable atmosphere. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try – you won’t be disappointed!

I really enjoyed their appetizers. Loved their chicken burger sliders and their chicken skewers. Ordered the chicken Alfredo and it was really tasty. Not overly creamy which is how I wanted it. Went there to watch the Leafs game and there are several TVs to watch from.

Good service.. the charcuterie board is totally worth it. Only annoying this was the fruit flies.. or I would definitely give this place a solid 4. Good atmosphere place otherwise.

I was drawn to the summer patio by the 3 man indie folk rock band, and stopped for a beer while hubby scoped out a nearby shop. Glory made my day, and had a color POP to match my lime! Their washroom was also lovely, which was appreciated since we're traveling today to Ottawa, and I'm sick of gross rest stops! Cheers to this lovely summer afternoon stop on the road !🍻 💚

Visited first time really they have good food. Staff and even owner he is very humble. Even while they were busy a lot still we got our food after a short time.

This was my first and last visit. A couple girlfriends and I were looking for a place to dine and grab some drinks (we are in our early 30’s). We made a reservation which was not even needed as we were one of two groups dining in the whole restaurant on a Friday night at 7pm… One of us ordered a dirty martini and it was horrible…. It was clear the bartender had no idea what they were doing. Our waitress had it remade but it wasn’t much better. When it came time to order entrees, 3 menu items we were interested in they did not have available. When our food arrived we were underwhelmed. The bathrooms were filthy. The dining room was clean and aesthetic but very dark. And the service was slow. Honestly, the only good thing about the experience was the music. They had a great sound track. Unless they get a big night life crowd I don’t know how they will survive.
