Pad Thai (spicy) - It was sweet. The noodles became a block after a while. The quantity was good and very filling. It should be good for 2 decent meals. Tofu was fresh. But, I may not go for it again.

Most definitely one of the best options in the food court. Their staff are always happy and full of energy! I really enjoy their bento boxes as it gives me a good selection to please the taste buds. I also tried their calamari. It was absolutely delicious… cooked to perfection!

This was amazing. Fresh delicious mix no disappointment. They are inspired by the bustling streets of South Asia. You can mix and match ingredients, at @thebasilbox you are the chef. You pick you base, veggies, protein, sauce and topping. I ended wanting more... I am coming back for the flavour and experience. A great tasty combination. Brown rice, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds 😍🌶🔥

Quite disappointed really, read through the mostly good reviews and ordered delivery of Lemongrass chicken and Chili lime shrimp and to my dismay the two dishes are mostly rice with very little in the way of chicken or shrimp.

Just recently I've visited basil box twice within the same week. Type of food Vietnamese + Thai cuisine, gluten free, comparable prices. The menu has a build a box, noodles, brown rice, veggies, meat, toppings + sauces. Only two sizes: small + regular. All fresh ingredients, tasted so good, decent food portions. one of the best healthy food options in the food court. Great alternative for people who are health enthusiast. I highly recommend this location.

Tried this place as it was listing gluten free online. Promised the girl at the counter I'd leave a review 😅 The food was great and didn't trigger my Celiac, went back the next day and tried something else which was also delicious. Will definitely go back if I'm in Toronto in the future.

This is the best place in all of square one for healthy, protein rich meals. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. The portions are incredible (you’ll be full with the standard size). Mix the meats to get the most satisfaction out of the experience (mix the noodle and brown rice to get an even better experience).

Worst Tom yum shrimp noodle soup of my life. Just took a bite and immediately threw it all. Very weird smell. It taste sweets. They put pumpkin seed and fried onion or whatever it is. Ithis is my first time and will definitely not return.

The food is always so amazing here! They are generous with the toppings. Always a go to if I am ever doubt at square one! The bao buns are one of my favourites because the lemon grass chicken is so flavourful! Highly recommend. I lowered the service rating because on September 16th (around 7pm) we had a really bad experience with the lady that worked there. She was rude and unnecessarily difficult (we haven’t experienced this here before so it could be just the lady). The guy working with her was so much nicer!

Amazing customer service!! The manager was so friendly and kind and fulfilled my order to perfection. The Chicken Pad Thai was delicious and was a healthier option especially compared to every thing else offered at the food court. The Thai Iced Tea was so tasty and really hit the spot on this hot summer day. Highly recommend Basil Box 😋

the guy working was very helpful; i’ve never eaten here before so i got the build-your-own-box, and he explained what everything was and let me try the sauces before choosing. the food itself is genuinely very good!

Garbage food, the girl (Jot) at front doesn’t care at all. The way they speak to the customer is not how you stay in business, she tried to call her boss and we got an explanation if you choose spicy it will get more flavour in the pad Thai, if you don’t order spicy it will just have salt pepper Don’t waste your time and money Try something better While we were trying to explain she was on her phone and started laughing about the issue. I wish i can give 0 star

Just a heads up, do not order their tom yum shrimp if you think it’s like the original Thai tom yum gum. I just tried it and it tasted like a spaghetti pasta with soup. The chef is nice though.

The rice was a little too oily but the portion size was generous.. Noodles were saucy and tasty.

First time at basil box and honestly loved it. Food taste so good. I got a salad with Lemongrass chicken. The lady there was so sweet and took her time. And gave us samples. Would always go back.

Tried this place for the first time...will definitely be back. The coconut Thai curry tofu on rice was delicious! The employee was super friendly also and recommended the perfect combo of sauces. Can't wait to try other dishes!

This is literally my fav place to eat💕 I’m working at SQ1 and I visit Basil Box almost everyday and never get bored of it. Their food is healthy yet delicious, highly recommended for who are looking for a healthier choice. My always go-to is their steaks and lemongrass chicken together with tamarind sauce and sweet chilli and you must try their Thai ice tea. Sooooo good😍 the best thai ice tea I’ve had so far. Try it you might like it😉❤️❤️❤️

Easy choice in the mall for so many reasons. The service is so quick and easy. The food is always steaming hot when you get it. There is a strong variety in ingredients, toppings, and customization. There are plenty of healthy options and none of them taste like healthy food trying to masquerade as fast food. A regular box is super filling (i’m 6’3 and 210lbs and I can barely finish one of these) and it comes to about $14 after tax. During my shifts at Square One, this is overwhelmingly the best choice. the staff are all super friendly and are *usually* generous with the protein servings. Beware that they use peanuts and other nuts in their food though, in case you have allergies.

Food tastes good but don’t be fooled by it being “healthy”. It’s full of hydrogenated oils, all the food &sauces are made with inflammatory oils. But that’s fast food and this is a tastier option than other restaurants in the mall. Manager is not very nice, but interactions with the other employees were nicer than him. They won’t even sell you toppings. Overall food tasted good, but service with manager not so good

This Basil Box has really caring staff and great attention to your food. A bit on the slow side due to the lack of staff members. The staff (Jacky) is very friendly, quickly assembles and gives great recommendations. They served another customer that has a dietary concern and flagged any available options they could eat. They also offered to customize to their preference and suggested great alternatives. Good healthy choices! They have a lot of good custom order options/set-ups so that you can mix and match. This location offers additional Fried Egg (for additional cost). I usually get the Chili Lime Shrimp which is pretty spicy and delicious! This location offers sautéed eggplant and charred sweet potatoes which is great as well. Really good value and carries well! This location is on Ritual but due to minimal staff, it does struggle with getting orders completed in time. Be patient with the staff! Hopefully, there will be more staff joining as it feels like a one-man team right now on weekends, while it is a two-person team on weekdays.

CUSTOMERS ARE NOT JUST NUMBERS HERE :) Where do I begin? I made a review with 3 stars the other week after enjoying a meal made by a gentleman who didn't wear gloves and wore his mask beneath his nose. 1) I was just informed by my sister who just started working in the food industry and that there is a shortage I'm gloves. I feel like a dink now for pointing this out..... my apologies! 2) I was quickly contacted by the Founder and Chief of Basil Box. This showed me he and the people behind Basil Box truely care about customers and customer satisfaction. I've personally worked at previous food chains and don't think we ever paid so much attention to the feedback of our customers. It's usually a 'another bites the dust' mentality....This definitely drew me to commit to these delicious and healthier alternative meals!!! 3) After going out of my comfort zone and writing my review which at the time I strongly believed was the right thing to do for the sanitation and safety of customers I actually didn't expect such a positive reaction from the stores end. Basil Box made sure I would have a positive experience. I was nervous to come in and get served by the same gentleman I just publicly pointed out but he was completely professional, kind, and apologetic. I personally don't care about masks but he was wearing it properly this time ( I pointed it out for his own sake, it's the lack of wearing gloves that bother me COVID or not). I hope he knows he did exceptionally under such a negative situation I brought onto him. The food was never the problem, the customer service wasn't the problem, I just didn't like the fact that I had my food handled by ungloved hands. Thank you for all you did to make me a happy customer once again !!!!

I like the food but apart from that i love the service i went there in the morning their service was so good the server was so polite and positive she was so helpfull i would love to pay a visit again i am not sure if i am right i think her name was jot. Only basil box offers such a food and service in the food court .made my day ❤️
